Poo continues why are you astonished. You promised me to get what I want. This is the most precious thing I can get as a gift and I asked you since you are the best one to get this gift for me.⭐️ Vani asks sternly are you gone nuts.😆 Poo says nothing new. 👏The whole world including Karthik knows about my madness on Sara.. I hope you aren't like my father who thought that a thali will cure my madness. 😉Vani says poo you are not in a sound state of mind. 😛 Vani asks Karthik to go out and act normal outside. The duo come out and Manikkam asks Vani what did she ask. Karthik isn't answering me. All bug vani to tell what Poo asked. Vani says no way. Suspense is a suspense. I am astounded with what she asked and cannot share it with you guys. She asked me something which is beyond my reach. But I have clearly explained to her that I will give what I can. All are clueless. Manikkam these 2 are playing a game and taking us for a ride. Lets face it when it comes in open. Vani says I am shocked with her request, please don't add me into her game. Sevai neram - Selvi at the hospital. Malathy oppari. Selvi says no feelings please. I walked out since my views were not respected. I will return when they understand me. Malathy on self-pity mode and cries more. Selvi sorphozhivu.. 😡 Selvi is not bothered about walking out but worried that Aru did not change with her sorpzhivu.🤢 Malathy says I tried and failed all time. Looks like he will not change.😡 Selvi says don't feed him for 4 days and don't let him in.😡 (idhukku jailaleye vittu irukalame? ) Any girl can tune her hubby as per her wish. Back home, Karthik taunts Poo. Megala decides to eavesdrop. Karthik congratulates Poo's boldness in asking divorce as a gift from Vani. Megala shocked. Karthik says I am not scared by this act. I am a bold guy from birth. 🤢 Poo says I had no intentions to scare you. I asked athai whatever I wanted. Karthik says why slog for something which will never happen. Poo says I will make divorce happen. Karthik says no chance. I have given you a years' time to accept me and only that will happen. Poo says my life and I will decide what to do. Who are you to predict things for me. Karthik says Without my consent or permission nothing can move since you are Mrs. Poongodi Karthik. 😡🤢 Poo asks you will refuse to give divorce right? Karthik says Not required, since you will drop your bad idea and surrender to me. 😡🤢🤢Poo says sethalum nadakadhu.👏Megala shock-o-shocku. Karthik says why talk about death when discussing about how to live our life. Come on ya. Be positive.😡 Poo says just walk out. Don't irritate me. Karthik says how can I. ippo dhane game soodu pudikudhu. Vani athai was shocked when you asked her divorce. Soon you will have to go and tell her that it was a play. Poo says divorce plan is on if not athai some other lawyer. Karthik says will not happen. Learn to become my wife soon. 😡An irritated Poo walks off and Karthik's smile fades off. Megala walks off crying.

Rajesh, Sura, Rani and Swami reach the hospital. Selvi feeding Malathy. Sura and rajesh stare. Rani and Swami clueless. Rajesh says after annai therasa it is Selvi who is going to be awarded for the sevai. 😆 Sura asks what's all this. In spite of my advises you are doing this. So you dont respect me. I stood by you and scolded Rajesh when he wanted to send you out. But I feel that he was right. Rani says patience please. I shall talk to her. Rani says Selvi I cannot imagine that you are doing something which your MIL dislikes. Selvi says please forgive me. Is it a criminal offense to help a hurt person. Rajesh says isn't it wrong to help someone without our knowledge. Selvi says I hid it because you will not like it and will be hurt if I do something against your wishes. I didn't fear that you will scold me. 😲Rani says I will not term helping as an offense. But you shouldn't do something which will hurt your loved ones.👏 More over if your MIL doesn't like it you shouldn't do it. Selvi why talk as if I did aniyayam. Sura screams what you did is aniyayam.

Vani Rani Friday Episode 310-Written updates:

Point comes to Vani and tell that Rani's hotel is locked, and he has enquired and found that the hotel was locked by Kathir. There was some fight between the rowdi's who had drunk and came to Rani's hotel, and due to this Kathir has locked the hotel. Vani tells that she requires every detail of Kathir. Megala and Balu meets Mano, who in turn hands over tickets to Ooty for Karthik and Poo, and tells Megala that I have lost hope that Poo will listen to my words, so better don't tell her that I am behind this. If they get along, then that is enough for all of us. Megala comes home and tells Poo and Karthik to join honeymoon. Poo denies, but Karthik tells that to respect elders, we need to go. People around Poo compels her to go. Poo suspects that Karthik is behind all this, but he denies. Karthik tells Poo that she will fall for him automatically. Vani arrives at Swami's home, and questions why is Swami going to sell coffee again. Why is the hotel locked?..Rani malupufies that even if the cook is not well, hotel shall be locked..Vani interrupts that she knows the difference between getting locked by them and by the rowdi's. She yells that they never bothered to inform her, did they think that she has died?..Rani tells that two drunkards came to their hotel, and just because we pushed them out, they have locked it. Vani enquires as who did push them?..Swami or Saravanan..Swami says it was him..Thenu tells that it was Gautham. Vani says Rani to tell as what happened?..Rani updates everything and says that they did ask Swami to tell as who fought with the rowdi's. But what is the difference if the rowdi's hold grudge against Saravanan or Gautham. They both mean the same to them..Swami says her to leave the issue, and tells that if there is no hotel,they shall not die, and tells Rani to call Vani inside. Rani calls her inside, and Swami leaves. Vani thinks and takes her mobile to Call..

Vani Rani - Episode 311 (Saturday, 29^th March 2014)

Hi everyone! 🤗 I'm back after two weeks with the written update of an athiradi episode! Sorry about the delay though, I was tied down with work today.

Written Update

Episode begins with Arumugam lying down with crossed legs outside his mahligai and taalam poderaning to some interesting song I've never heard off before. (Can someone please tell me what song that is?) Rajesh arrives in his auto and is warmly welcomed by Arumugam. (Rajesh konjam weight phota mathiri irukke.) Rajesh asks Arumugam where are Selvi and Malathy. Arumugam tells him both have gone for duty and it's difficult to keep women home nowadays. Rajesh insults Arumugam for being shameless but as usual, it's water off his back, no reaction whatsoever. Rajesh gets irritated and tells Arumugam he's there to discuss something important with him. Arumugam makes some stupid comments about Rajesh starting a political party and giving him a job as his henchman. Rajesh angrily tells Arumugam he is here to send him out of the state. Arumugam laughs and tells Rajesh he doesn't know him well enough, no matter what Rajesh does, Arumugam will be back there as usual since he has nowhere else to go. Rajesh is furious but Arumugam gives him a fantastic sorpozhivu of his flashback that deserves a place in Ripley's Believe It or Not Records for being the most shameless speech of the decade. Rajesh shushes him and puts forward his proposal to give Arumugam 2 lakhs in return for Arumugam, Malathy and their child leaving town for good. Arumugam stares at the money in shock and pinches Rajesh to check if he is dreaming. Rajesh tells Arumugam to take the money and disappear from their lives for good. Arumugam agrees saying why would he chase after Chillara Lakshmi (Selvi) when Rajesh is giving him Varalakshmi (Money, not Sarath Kumar's daughter!). Arumugam starts making investment plans for the money i.e. how much to gamble each day. Rajesh gives Arumugam the money and a final warning. As he turns to leave, lo and behold, who should arrive at the scene but VR's very own Karunai Devathai Selvi with her angels Malathy and her child. Selvi demands that Arumugam returns the 2 lakhs and snatches it away from him. She questions Rajesh which results in an argument. Selvi insists it's her responsibilty to protect and save Malathy until Kali returns from jail and since Rajesh and she have separated, Rajesh should not interfere in this anymore. Rajesh questions if he and Sura are not important to her but Selvi insists that at the moment, nothing is more important to her than Malathy. She reminds Rajesh that Shenbagam had also committed suicide like Malathy's mother and look at all the suffering they had to go through because of it. She tells Rajesh she believed he was an educated person and a good human being but he is proving her wrong by making a move like this. She questions what would he do if Arumugam loses the money gambling and comes to him for more money. She tells him Malathy's mother would never forgive him if he continues in this way. (Loosa di ni?? Yaaru yaara manikkarathu??) Rajesh asks her to return the money and she does saying she doesn't want his money but don't make her conclude that her husband is such a kedhukettaven. Rajesh gives her one tight slap. (Nalla thukki potthu mithichirukkanum!! Buddhiye illaya ivalakku??) Selvi gives Rajesh her Shenvi stare (Ithallam Shenvi ode plan ah irrukkummo??) and Rajesh walks away saying to hell with her and all of them! Shenvi, erm I mean, Selvi looks on in shock and confusion.

Kathir's Lair

Pajero arrives and horns loudly while Kathir and his men stare in surprise. Kathir sends his man to open the gate and the Pajero drives in. Pen Singam alights from the Pajero and walks towards Kathir's gumbal accompanied by a majestic bgm that causes shivers to run up Shree's spine and gives Shree goosebumps. (Shree automatically stands up and start clapping and cheering enthusiastically!) One of the men asks Pen Singam who she is and Pen Singam retorts "Inga yaaru da Kathir??" (Shree claps and cheers even more enthusiastically!) Kathir and gang are shocked into silence and Pen Singam repeats who is Kathir twice more in a louder voice. Kathir comes forward and says Pen Singam is the first person to come to his compound and say his name, who is she. Pen Singam angrily asks Kathir four tongue pulling questions while Kathir fists his hands and his veins start to travel up his arms like Nagarjuna's in Ratchagan (minus ARR's bgm!). One of the gumbal pulls an aaruval but Kathir stops him by putting his arm out. Kathir asks Pen Singam what she wants and she replies she does not want anything but it's time he start thinking what he wants before he answers her questions. She asks if he wants his freedom or to be in jail, to eat good food or kali, to ride in an a/c car or a police van? She questions him is he a big dada just because he has aruvals, adiyals and commits crimes. She tells him she can destroy him in a minute if she wants, shall she do it and show him? Kathir asks her if she knows who he is and she replies "Eh chi vaaya mude" you think I'll be standing here without knowing your full history from past generations and up to date? She says she is Advocate Vani and if he doesn't know who she is, to ask around outside. She gives him 2 days time to re-open Swami's hotel with no questions asked and to sign a blank document for her the way he made Swami sign one and to leave them the hell alone now onward or else she will not let him escape. She questions him for messing with the livelihood of innocent people and Kathir tells her Enough! (In this scene, Kathir reminded me of Athisheshan in Sivaji the Boss, very well done!) Kathir shouts that Swami hired someone to trash his boys and he wants that guy, he asked Swami but Swami pleaded with him and left but Pen Singam is giving him empty threats now. Pen Singam asks him "Yaaruda ni??" and how dare his men cause problems at Swami's restaurant. Kathir questions if she knows who trashed his men and Pen Singam says she knows, what would he do if she brought him to Kathir? Kathir shouts he would do anything, even kill the person and that is Kathir's wish, he wants him at any cost. He tells Vani to get Swami to bring that person to him. Pen Singam turns and calls Gautham and Shree's hearts skips a beat! Mass hero bgm begins and Gautham leaves the Pajero and walks with a swagger and with piercing eyes towards the gumbal while Shree inexplicably starts to hum "Masi masam aalana ponnu maaman unakke thane" and faints dead away! Kathir's men identify Gautham and Pen Singam tells Kathir to do whatever he wants to do to him. Pen Singam challenges Kathir to hurt Gautham saying Kathir's 10 men cannot hurt Gautham's one arm. (Sorry Boyfriend Sir, Ungge Mummy ah vide yenakku Gautham Mummy than rombe pidichirukke!!) Kathir picks up an aaruval from his henchman and walks towards Gautham when Pen Singam stops him saying if Gautham has to answer to Kathir, then Kathir also has to answer to Pen Singam! She asks if she should dust off the 11 police cases on Kathir in and around Chennai city, and he will have to answer for it, is that ok with him? Pen Singam lists the cases on Kathir and tells him the total number of years he would have to serve in jail is 30 years if she gets involved. She tells him she is Vani and he should have understood the moment she walked in unarmed what she is capable of. She challenges Kathir to do whatever he wants to Gautham but to beware that the moment even a speck of dust falls on Gautham, she will rewrite Kathir's fate and will not let him escape no matter which corner of the earth he hides in. She asks Kathir shall she do it and Kathir backs down and hands the aaruval to his henchman who sticks it into the roof for safe keeping! Pen Singam tells Kathir he has 2 days time to re-open Swami's restaurant or else he will be in jail and the restaurant will continue to run. Pen Singam and Gautham walk to the Pajero accompanied by the majestic bgm while Kathir stares on and his henchman runs to open the gate for the Pajero to pass. Episode ends with a shot of the Pajero leaving a trail of dust behind. THODARUM!

What an episode guys, Thala padam 1^st day, 1^st show partha feeling vanthuche and that's a huge compliment coming from such an ardent Ajith fan. The episode belonged to Pen Singam through and through, and man, what a woman, what a character and what a performance! Shree thrilled to bits!
