S idharth Dhawan last seen in a cameo in Aroona Irani's Vaidehi is back in action with a makeover. He's lost weight and has gone for a complete image change.
He says, "I had put on weight and it wasn't looking good on screen. So I took a break and got myself back into shape." Son of yesteryear's actor Anil Dhawan and nephew of director David Dhawan, Sidharth has done serials like Mehndi Tere Naam Ki and Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand. In the latter, he started off playing a positive role, which later turned negative. "I love playing a negative role because that's more challenging for an actor." The break helped him to get into a lean mean look besides giving him a chance to spend time with his children. "I was very happy with the way my character was shaping up in Vaidehi. It's unfortunate that the serial had to be wound up."
