I think it is the opposite. Satya is Gunwathi's illegitimate son. Probably she would have had an affair either outside or before her marriage. This boy would have been born into the family first, before Vansh and Veer. That explains his boyhood in that place, as well as his feelings for Gunwanthi.

Also: he could have been Gunwanthi's son from her marriage to the elder brother of Umed. Maybe when he died, Gunwathi has a widow remarriage and married the younger Singh - Umed. If this comes out, it will put her in a tight spot when it comes to opposing Icha's widow remarriage.

So: Satya: son of the elder bundela and Gunwanthi

Veer: son of the younger Bundela and Gunwanthi

Satya is either thrown out or walks out because of some injustice metted out on him. Adopted by someone and Sachi is their daughter...making her his adoptive brother, and also explains why he is so protective of her.

My guess is that Satya cud be the son of the woman whom Umed was forced to leave behind to marry Gunvanthi. And this lady married another but was not happy as her husband illtreated her and may be taunted her unceasingly for loving Umed and she died in bitterness.....................Satya being very dutiful son has come now to take revenge on Bundela's and just not Gunvanthi and he hates her as she is having all that his mother shud have. But 1 drawback in my theory is that Satya helds his father in high esteem😕

Probably explains why Satya wanted that particular blessing from Mai (his own mother) that he will get what he wants.

?? Could Madam Gunwanthi with her lofty Hindu Bahu thingy be the one to have 'experimented' before her marriage??

This might make her sympathetic towards Tapu and her illegitimate baby even when it comes out that the baby is not Veer's.

Maybe that is why they have this parallel track: to show that the mistake Taps did today was done 30 yrs back by Mai, so it is really not THAT bad a mistake.
