I was so disappointed with Angad's character assassination. and the problem is its a ITV rule that to make the toxic ML look good, they have to make other men more bad. why cant they think to show personal growth for that ML. its purely lazy writing

i am interested to know what Jasmin will say to Angad. the jasmin in your story has not yet turned evil unlike the show which was again so sudden. she had flaws., big flaws but then she turned evil so again it can be shown how Fateh was manipulated

They had great opportunity to show something positive in an already regressive show but they chose to make it more regressive.

Yeh true they make butcher KVG character to make fattu good. But that will not help. They could have keep him positive on friendly basis and gave him closure but they made more mess.

Nice update. Pl don't want fatejo together. Looks like jasmine has realised her mistakes.

Chapter 5

Angad sat for good 5 minutes in the chair waiting for Jasmine to talk. She was fidgeting with her dupatta end and didn't utter a word. He understood that she might be running and re-running a good story again to fool every one around. He sighed and got up from the chair and started to leave.

"Please! Stop, don't leave" She told

" You asked me to follow you, I have left the meeting mid-way and your silence is not helping. Sleeping pills kyu liye tumne?" He questioned her.

"Main kyu apne aapko behosh karne ki koshish karoongi? Koi mujhe Marne ki koshish kar raha hai. Mai nahi karne wali internship." She said in a single go as if she has byheart those exact words multiple times.

Angad smirked and inched towards her a little and said, " Kaamchor ho tum."

Jasmine turned pale when she realised he didn't buy her lie. " Main jhoot nahi bol rahi hoon aur main kaamchor nahi hoon"

"Agar tumhe koi marna chahta hai toh zehar de deta neend ki 1-2 goli nahi. Waise Jasmine tumne apne liye haters aur enemies ke alawa kuch haasil Kiya hai apne dum pe?" He asked her and continued, " Get this straight into your thick skull Aaj se dramebaazi band karo aur har din mujhse pehle office jaakar Mera schedule check Karo."

"Agar Mai nahi Kari ye sab aur bhaag gayi yaha se toh kya karoge?" Her nostrils flared and eyes welled up with tears. He couldn't believe what he heard from this woman who was refusing to do even simple work. He hated himself for giving her chance to redeem.

" Bhaag jao you will be in the most wanted list of state police.Public places mein 420 ke list mein tumhara yeh self acclaimed Moga ki param sundari wala photograph bhi add hojayega. Ye sab chad na kal woh party wala banda kaafi hai tumhare liye usse bata deta hoon ki tum jail se bahar ho." He said with a straight face.

" Ye sab tum Tejo ke liye kar rahe ho na. Dekha maine aaj tumhe board meeting mein pata nahi kyun par bahut dukhi aatma lag rahe the, ghar aakar pata chala ki Fateh wapis aagaya Tejo ke life mein. Ab hojayegi tumhari tata bye bye Tejo ke life se." She started to do what she does best, manipulation.

"I am not doing this for Tejo but to save you from yourself. I thought you will turn a new leaf but look at you. You have no shame left and it was my mistake to give you a chance in this internship. I thought you might do well because you will have chance to go to Canada through this project."

Canada.. the only thing she could hear was Canada. She played with lives of everyone around her to go to Canada now that she has a chance to go to Canada she spoiled it on the very first day. When she was back to her senses all she could listen was

"You are no longer associated with this project anymore. Go back to Moga and keep reporting the accounts and maintenance of academy along with Rajat." He said and left the room.

She started following his way back to the hall pleading him to give one more chance but Angad really lost his cool. He could not believe that a woman like Tejo can have a sister like Jasmine. Jasmine cried and made the face she always does to get things done at her home but Angad was not family to melt. While Virks left the hall the moment they saw Jasmine, Sandhus stayed in the hall to witness the drama their younger daughter does.

Tejo was shocked so were the other family members. Jasmine asking sorry, begging for work is something they never expected to witness. She was literally on her knees while Angad sat beside Tejo. He looked at Tejo for a very brief moment. His anger calmed down but he was still really upset at himself for even thinking about giving chance to the spoilt brat of Sandhus. She actually made him leave the meeting which decides the business developments of the next quarter for her two rupees drama.

" Tum tumhare family ke saath Moga jao, report me regarding the happenings of academy for three months, I will visit it in three months from now on if you do well then I will think of giving you chance. Also please pass IELTS in this year." He said to Jasmine who was wiping her crocodile tears and nodding her head in yes.

Rupi was suprised by the way Angad handled Jasmine. He could see that Angad had a genuine concern towards his younger daughter. Rupi also observed how Angad's anger melted away when he looked at Tejo. But something which he didn't understand was Angad was still wearing the engagement ring while his daughter was not wearing it. It was clear that engagement was never fake from Angad's side he felt sorry for him.

Jasmine followed Angad to his office while the Virks entered the hall only after Jasmine left. Since everyone were tired all of them took some rest in the guest rooms and out house. Kids played in the lawn and rest of them visited the nearby mall. They reached home by nine o' clock. Bubli served them piping hot Parathas, Aaloo Gobi and Matar Paneer everyone enjoyed the meal except tejo who waited for Angad. She didn't want to make him feel left out.

Tejo didn't feel awkward around Fateh suprisingly. In the initial days, she always felt restless whenever she thought about him but now even when he is standing right infront of her she didn't feel awkward or anxious at all. On the other hand Fateh's state looked miserable. His facial hair wasn't groomed for days or may be weeks. His clothes were worn-out and eyes looked lifeless. He didn't smile for a second in all these hours.

She knew someone will try to make them converse so she decided to give the honour herself. She had this renewed confidence after coming here and meeting people with troubled pasts through NGOs and MSMEs.

"Fateh would you help me bring the board games, I left them in the out house." Tejo said. Fateh agreed to help and followed her.

Fateh realised his mistake way too lately. He was so driven with guilt that he could not even face his family. He chose to redeem himself by getting out of the house.

Tejo understood that Jasmine and Fateh no longer are married but she wanted to know what happened exactly, so she asked him, "Fateh tumne Jasmine ko aise kyun raste par le aaye? Why did you leave her aisa kya hua ki tumne ye sab kuch kiya?"

Fateh started to explain her everything Jasmine did during her stay at Virks house. He told her it was Jasmine who brought Jass into Moga luring him with Jewellery and money. Tejo felt sick of Jasmine's behaviour and realised how correctly Angad has guessed about Jasmine and how far she could go for her selfish reasons. But Tejo was equally angry with Fateh for leaving Jasmine on road and doing all this Tamasha which his family didn't deserve. So she started giving him an earful while the duo collected the board games from out-house and started walking towards the manision.

"Fateh tum judge ho kya ki ye faisla karne ke liye ki Jasmine ko kya punishment milni chahiye, Police Station bhej dete aur jhooti shaadi kya hoti hai? Tumhe acche se pata hai ki tumhari wajah se papaji ko kitni humiliation sehna pada iss shaadi ki wajah se. Aur ye agar tumhara Ghar se bhaag jaana prayaschit hai to please mat karo aisa prayaschit." Tejo bottled up all the anger for all these days but today she wasn't in no mood to control it, she continued " Tumne Aaj Tak wahi Kiya Jo tumhe convenient hota hai. Moga mein ruk kar sab ko bata dete ki tumne kya Kiya woh Kushi Kushi tumhe maaf karlete, papaji ki political career mein vunki madad kardete ya Simmi di aur Buzo ki shaadi baat le aate kisi ko toh kush kar sakte the tum.." she was extremely disappointed with the decisions Fateh took in the name of redemption.

Fateh looked at her and didn't dare to utter a word. He lost the right to reply her long back, so all he did was to listen to her. Tejo asked, " Tell me one thing kya kisi ek aadmi ko bhi iss redemption se use hua?" They both heard the screeching sound of car which stopped at the entrance. Angad walked his way towards main door saying something related to work and Jasmine struggled to note it down. He reached the Main door and took the note pad from Jasmine's hands and sighed after reading it and titled his head down in disappointment. Tejo who was watching them from a distance couldn't help but smile, " Shayad ek aadmi ko hua hai." She said that to herself seeing her sister who was trying her best.

Fateh didn't understand why Tejo smiled as she was bursting with anger a second ago, he looked at the direction in which she was looking and saw Jasmine and Angad. He didn't understand what happened before his arrival but he assumed that Tejo and Angad has become good friends now. He said, " Angad aur Jasmine bhi aagaye, I think humhe chalna chahiye Tejo, I am sorry ho sake toh mujhe maaf karo. Lekin Jasmine ke saath jo bhi hua woh usse deserve karti hai mai tumhari tarah Mahaan nahi hoon ki woh jo man chaha kare aur main usse maaf kar doon" He said and walked faster than her and reached the hall and bit before Tejo.

Kushbeer saw his son looking sad and he looked for Tejo who just arrived. She was not sad may be she was sad but one thing he was sure that she looked relieved. He had high hopes from Fateh since his childhood he always thought he would be the one who will look after the family but he turned out to be a disappointment. First he loved Jasmine decided to leave the family for her. Then he married Tejo after Jasmine's mean decision to leave him at altar it was then he realised how perfect Tejo was. He could see the future of Virks in her. She was his replica when it comes to family value and ethics. But even that was shattered when he got to know about the extra marital affair with Jasmine shattering Tejo's heart into million pieces. Now he seemed to be a changed man, he wanted to talk to Tejo and wanted to know about her feelings for Fateh, whether they are still the same or have they changed. He wanted to ask if she will get back to the family and give Fateh a second chance. He knew he turned a bit selfish for his family and son but he also didn't want to force Tejo so he decided to ask Angad for a favour.

Angad looked at hall which generally remained empty was now full of people he adores , he was overwhelmed. He didn't want to disturb their family time so he decided to eat his dinner alone in his room.

Tejo made her way towards Angad who was talking to Bubli, " Bubli khana mere room pe bhej dena," he was interrupted by Bubli who replies, " par sir Tejo mam ne bhi khana nahi khaya, mam ne kaha ki woh aapke saath khana chahthi hai ." His heart fluttered when he heard that . He searched for Tejo in the hall and realised she was standing just beside him inches apart. She blushed ever so slightly when he looked into her eyes. Jasmine ordered food way before and thought everyone might have ended up eating but here she was waiting for him to come, he felt special.

" Bubli Tejoji ke liye extra butter daalna paratha mein mere liye wait karne ke liye," he said in his usual playful tone,Tejo chuckled and followed him to the dining table. They both had usual chit chat of how the day went by. He knew she was waiting for him to talk about his condition so he started to say," PTSD is under control Tejoji, but sometimes I feel anxious especially when I am around my relatives, I hope I didn't ruin your day." He said. " Sach kahoon toh aapke relatives mujhe bhi pasand nahi hai, they are way too selfish and mean. " She replied.

"A lot of things happened today." He savoured the delicious paratha with matar paneer and continued, " Is everyone comfortable, hope they didn't mind me leaving. Aaj bahut important meetings scheduled the. I can't postpone them."

" No problem, woh samajhte hai ye sab, actually woh sab aapse bahut impressed hai. You handled Jasmine so well, humne sapne bhi nahi dekhe jassu ko kaam karti ho." They both laughed and continued eating.

Rupi observed how his daughter was happy when she is with Angad. It made him feel bad and he realised what exactly they snatched from her in the name of family's respect that is her happiness, her consent and her self respect. Here she has all of them.

Fateh realised what he lost in the blind love of Jasmine. He lost his best friend and he was sure he will never get her back. Jasmine was looking at Fateh with so much rage but satti who knew her daughter way too well brought to senses by slapping on her hand. " Kya plan bana rahi hai tu? Ab kuch bhi karne se pehle sharam kar" She told her. Jasmine kept quiet, she is not fool to share such things if she is planning on one. But right now she was tired. She got up early, she worked entire day even after having sleeping pills, right now all she wanted was to sleep.

Angad and Tejo sat at the opposite ends of couch, they looked at each other and announced to everyone that their engagement was fake. Every one in the hall had reacted in different ways but one person seemed to be the happiest of all it was KSV.

Kushbeer decided to talk to Angad in private in the early hours when everyone are asleep. He waited for Angad to leave and when he did started leave he followed him and requested Angad to take him to a Gurudwara nearby in the early morning for prayer. Angad agreed to his request.

In the early morning, Angad personally drove the car to the Gurudwara. Both KSV and Angad offered prayers and sat down at the prayer in silence for a while. " Beta please Tejo ko manane mein mujhe help Karo, agar tum kahoge toh woh Fateh ko dusra mauka zaroor degi." He said in a single breath holding Angad's hands. Angad was taken aback by KSV's request. " Maine dekha hai puttar Tejo aur Fateh ek dusre se bahut pyaar karte hai. Please vun dono ko ek karne mein mera madad kardo." Kushbeer continued to request Angad until he said, " Uncle mai aapka help karunga."

I am trying to maintain consistency in characters. The character butchering started from Jasmine, then Fateh, then KSV for his raja beta's kushi, then Angad and now the latest victim is Tejo.

To me what Jasmine did during JasFa marriage was wrong not crime. She was perfectly grey till then. The things they made her do afterwards was totally weird , stalking her sister and jeeju, planning, plotting was way too much. 🤢

Fateh too was grey shaded character. He took Tejo for granted, he broke her trust. I don't understand what message makers want to give by uniting FaTejo this soon. Tejo has already shown to be melting. I think their reunion will be shown very soon.

I agree now they don't know how to involve Angad's character in the story. I hope they dont ruin him further. Hope they end his character soon on a good note and release us from this mess.

Jasmine is a bratty girl, she requires hundreds of such incidents to become a better person.

I was busy with my work as the cases in our area grew, we had to be available for longer hours in offices. I will try to update the next one faster.

Jasso needed a reality check that there is nothing like easy money and money don’t grow on trees.. For that you need to do hard work..

God KSV, apne bete ke age bhi kuch dekhle🤦🏻‍♀️. Pehle toh lagta that admi achcha Hain, tejo ko apni beti maanta hain, but now, he is behaving like a child, wanting Tejo back in Fateh's life.

Please don't bring Fatejo together. Tejang is better. It'll be good, however, to see both Jassu and Fattu getting a bit better than they initially were.
