DSDT, Swabhimaan are new shows. Shakti is top rated one. so channel will promote them. this channel never promotes a show which is struggling and hence needs promotion the most. i should know. happened with Swaragini.
Awards are rigged anyways. popular ones win. not deserving ones. don't worry over that aisha.
Ishq ka safar worked and so did bandua upto certain point because Suraj and Chakor were on equal footing. gone are the days when bahus ruled and male leads were being props or nonproductive. even Ahem dikra has manned up in Saathiya.
Channel promoted what was selling i.e SuKor and Meejay. and cvs successfully managed to damage half of that equation. strictly speaking for self.
if you watch naamkaran let me know how it is. i would love to catch up with it but hotstar is a pain.
Chasa: i know girl. even if you watch KB 10 years from now on it will still remain exactly the same. take Sriti and Shabbir out and the serial will fold in a moment. they could be popular but Shabbir will always be remember for Rishi or milind more as an actor and sriti for Saubhayawati bhava than KB. KB made them popular but did no favours to their acting capabilities. even their fans admit that these two are wasting their talent in the show.
shani went past Udaan again. thank you for informing. that show is good from whatever i have seen of it.
good chatting with you girls.
gotta go. see ya.
@chasa- your comment about kkb forced me to log in😆 we both have been common viewers of two shows i guess. . Ipkknd and kkb.. But kkb... man.. I am one among the affected viewers of watching that crap😕 i am commenting about it in the wrong forum but still... One of the worst shows ever i have followed.. I have been a member in that forum.. . Met some nice people too.. But was highly.. Very highly disappointed with the same crap, shown again and again... 🥱 and i beg to disagree about the ML's characterisation.. Abhi before Memory loss was one of the most inconsistent characters i have seen and that was one constant thing I used to complain there time and again 😆 but after memory loss it seems to be much better i suppose.. And Pragya's characterisation is consistent but she just irks me in many ways 😆 and that's when I got to pay serious attention to chakor and suraj (previously i just used to catch glimpses of sukor while surfing through tv channels) a strong FL like chakor just inspired me and instantly attracted me.. And not to mention about the chemistry with suraj.. So i quit kkb and started following udaan.. Now this show too is kinda started sinking

i am not surprised suraj was into girls in his college days since we saw he was attracted to good looking girls when chakor and tina came into the pic...especially when tina arrived he was immediately attracted to her and wanted to date her etc. so I'm not surprised he had flings during college... its just as someone rightly pointed out here in this discussion, they were just flings that probably lasted a week - he never fell in love with someone in college so the suraj who had flings in college differs from the lover suraj we see today.

i can see your point but maybe the CVs will justify this image suraj had in college by referring to his upbringing.. lets not forget he was bought up by KNR and Teju who spent majority of their life if not entire life using other people for their own benefit. So suraj was literally bought up in an environment where he thought or should i say was raised in a way to believe that it was normal for rich people like himself to use people and dump them when they are no longer any use to you. He never let his emotions come in the way of this - remember how when imli told him she was pregnant he wasn't the slightest bit moved by the fact that he had fathered a child.. the suraj then and the suraj now are like two different people.the suraj we see now lets his heart rule over him, while the suraj back in the day always used his head... he never believed in love or care in relationships etc. today he thinks from his heart rather than his mind and since its the first time he's following his heart, he's been shown as a reluctant lover - not knowing how to go about expressing his feelings which explains why he took so long realising his love for chakor and even longer in expressing it - he feared of failing thanks to his feelings... many times he didn't tell chakor fearing she didn't feel the same and he didn't want to fail in front of her... for someone like suraj who was always taught about the importance of winning and hated it when he failed to meet the high marks vivan got in studies, it took him a while to accept that failure is not so bad afterall.

@Rabia, I was not particularly referring to you when I mentioned the "fooling around" part. I discussed the topic with someone else yesterday too. And it was not meant to disregard your explanation, it was meant for the writers because I think that they've meant what you say and they should not choose, again, such a confusion path where people have to distinguish between terms as "fooling around" and "having steady girlfriends".
Paki asked him simply if he had any girlfriends. And he said no. A child, especially an innocent one from the countryside, can't conceive in such terms as steady relationships even adults don't. He should have been honest and said that he did have, even if they weren't serious ones.
Anyway is not Suraj's fault, the writers wanted to give now this party and make Chakor jealous, so they've made up that he was a player. They've insisted too much with the idea that Suraj was clueless about girls for far too long and now they come and throw in our faces a past full of girlfriends and parade them in front of Chakor. I don't feel comfortable at this thought, maybe the episode will turn out to be good, only time will tell.
I get your idea about other movies, but this is a character who grew up under our eyes. They can't describe him in one way and then go into opposite direction. Audience has got used with one way of him to be and now they come with a drastic change, making looking fake and that he has two faces.
Is not about accepting Suraj for who he is, the problem is that they keep changing who he is. As I said to you before, if you are OK with this inconsistency, then good for you that you can enjoy the show, but to me is very important a consistent character in order to understand him better and to relate to him/her. Right now I feel that they have lost control over their own character and my experiences tell me not to expect any good coming out from now on since they have reached this dead point in their creation. But, I've seen your other posts and you seem optimistic about the show. Again, good for you, I hope that I am the one who is wrong and your optimism will be paid off.
I am glad to know that my post on Suraj gave you another perspective on his character. I wanted to make other posts like that one, but since they changed him from one week to another, what I wanted to write was no longer relevant, hence I gave up.
And of course, I understand your point of view and your love for this character, so no hard feelings! We know each other for quite some time now, so we can't possibly be upset with one another just because our ideas don't match.
@chasa- true! Even i prefer watching male centric shows and ipkknd was the only show i was crazy about but sadly that show just got ruined after eight months and Khushi's antics got unbearable.. I watched SC too.. And saras was the perfect male lead according to me.. Like.. His characterisation was too good except for some initial turbulence.. But after that.. It was just perfect! And ya.. I am planning to catch up with Ipkknd 3, hopefully from day 1..because i have never followed a show from its first episode 😆
@bold- same here!
Please do watch ipkknd 3..i will defo watch it...the promo itself killed me...i dont know what will be my state after watching the episode...i hope shivani can close up to barun although i still want sanaya back..
@bold I agree with you totally. Worst part is now-a-days many serials or movies and even books are glorifying this trait in men. A man who sleeps around and uses women simply for his physical desire is being labelled as hot property/most eligible but if a girl does the same she gets the label of 'sl*t' or 'wh*re'. Being a womanizer is not a admirable quality. Cvs are not doing anything to improve the current track.Originally posted by: -Namita-
I don't like womanizers!! It's not sexy, romantic or whatever!!
I've in my past had dealing with some womanizers and let me tell you, took a lot of self restraint to not slap their faces!!!BTW, not sure if Indian Telly, especially Udaan CV 's know the difference between a flirt and a womanizer!!!
A flirt is someone who flirts and charms women. It's harmless.Womanizer on the other hand wants to bed them!!! He would try to charm anyone to get what he wants!!
