oye i was being serious there😆.
that serial was about to conk off thanks to pathetic ratings and now look at it. ranked number 2 in the channel. it is a darn near miracle and it is not possible without a solid set of writers who did their home work and nailed the pulse of the audience. from a seven years old channeling superwoman, wonderwoman, batwoman (if such character exists) to a serial which shows healthy balance of yin an yang.. a strong smart male lead and a spunky female lead the serial had kaya palat. i am planning to catch up with it.
and old writers of that serial were as awesome as the ones who wrote who's the daddy track here. so unless they had personality change or aliens swapped their souls it is not possible to pull out this miracle. so i am opting for poaching theory. not that our show was flawless once but hey it was a cracker of a show once.

What more can I say about the show...

This new inconsistency in Suraj's character is the bottom line for me.

I actually liked Suraj's shyness and I was counting on that as an explanation that he didn't do anything with Imli, but now they have erased this one too.

And he will dance with other girls to make Chakor jealous!!! Hasn't the girl had enough with what he said about what he did with Imli in the car? If this was real, can we even imagine what a pain a woman must feel to hear her husband confessing something like this? How insensitive he must be to start dancing with other girls in front of her after her breakdown from the last episode!

Well, I don't want to say anything more as I don't want to spoil the mood of other people who are still enjoying this character.

I've just realized that today is a year since I've heard that Chakor was going to get married to Suraj (I had an important event then, so I remembered it correctly). The news of Imli being pregnant came before and when I've heard them, I stopped watching the show. But, with the news of the wedding I began watching it again as I said to myself that Imli must be lying. They will not go there! They will not marry the heroine with the man who impregnated her sister and runs away from his baby! So, I kept watching with the hope that the things will change.

After one year, there is nothing in this show that I used to like, so why watching it? Even though I still think that Suraj has a back-up plan regarding Ragni from a very long time, they've changed so much this character that I can't connect with him. Like how could he lie to Paki that he had no girlfriends? I mean, why lie to a child for no good reasons!

Some people tried to explain to me that he was just fooling around in college but no steady girlfriends! Honestly, this is just too deep for me! I don't even want to think what fooling around means, but I guess now we know from where he got that habit of getting cozy in the back-seat of the car.

I said if he had been introduced as a womanizer, there wouldn't have been any problem. But coming up now with this new backstory of multiple girlfriends after showing him as shy and innocent, it looks to me as he is was just being a hypocrite in front of a child.

I am just tired of so many explanations for what it is just sloppy writing.

... Now he is innocent, now had girlfriends... now he says he loves Chakor, now he dumps her for Imli... now he contemplates his future with Imli, now he asks Chakor to marry him...

Enough is enough.

They just didn't have a clear direction for this character post-leap and they kept changing him. I was actually surprised to see him so intelligent post leap as when he was a child, most of his plans flopped.

I've in my past had dealing with some womanizers and let me tell you, took a lot of self restraint to not slap their faces!!!

BTW, not sure if Indian Telly, especially Udaan CV 's know the difference between a flirt and a womanizer!!!

A flirt is someone who flirts and charms women. It's harmless.

Womanizer on the other hand wants to bed them!!! He would try to charm anyone to get what he wants!!

I get that Rabia. I mean it shouldn't be implied that he is a womanizer. It's not romantic. If he is a flirt, well, personally a little flirting isn't going to harm anyone.

@Rabia, I was not particularly referring to you when I mentioned the "fooling around" part. I discussed the topic with someone else yesterday too. And it was not meant to disregard your explanation, it was meant for the writers because I think that they've meant what you say and they should not choose, again, such a confusion path where people have to distinguish between terms as "fooling around" and "having steady girlfriends".

Paki asked him simply if he had any girlfriends. And he said no. A child, especially an innocent one from the countryside, can't conceive in such terms as steady relationships even adults don't. He should have been honest and said that he did have, even if they weren't serious ones.

Anyway is not Suraj's fault, the writers wanted to give now this party and make Chakor jealous, so they've made up that he was a player. They've insisted too much with the idea that Suraj was clueless about girls for far too long and now they come and throw in our faces a past full of girlfriends and parade them in front of Chakor. I don't feel comfortable at this thought, maybe the episode will turn out to be good, only time will tell.

I get your idea about other movies, but this is a character who grew up under our eyes. They can't describe him in one way and then go into opposite direction. Audience has got used with one way of him to be and now they come with a drastic change, making looking fake and that he has two faces.

Is not about accepting Suraj for who he is, the problem is that they keep changing who he is. As I said to you before, if you are OK with this inconsistency, then good for you that you can enjoy the show, but to me is very important a consistent character in order to understand him better and to relate to him/her. Right now I feel that they have lost control over their own character and my experiences tell me not to expect any good coming out from now on since they have reached this dead point in their creation. But, I've seen your other posts and you seem optimistic about the show. Again, good for you, I hope that I am the one who is wrong and your optimism will be paid off.

I am glad to know that my post on Suraj gave you another perspective on his character. I wanted to make other posts like that one, but since they changed him from one week to another, what I wanted to write was no longer relevant, hence I gave up.

And of course, I understand your point of view and your love for this character, so no hard feelings! We know each other for quite some time now, so we can't possibly be upset with one another just because our ideas don't match.
