What about Suraj?
Chakor is a wonderful person. If there were indeed people like her in our real life, unquestionable, the world would be a better place. She is selfless when it comes to saving Suraj's life and helping the villagers to free themselves from KN's claws. She never wanted to be successful in her career in order to satisfy her own ego. She wanted to use her fame to serve others. Maybe that's why it was so easy for her to win so many races. Her motivation was stronger while for the other athletes it was just a matter of money and fame.
But when it comes to her recent equation with Suraj, I dislike her robotic manner in which she deals with him. She treats Suraj as he has no past, no present, no future, no feelings. She is always repeating: we should do this, and we should that, you should be doing this and that so that KN is back to jail and the villagers are free; we need to catch Ragni and everything will be alright...
But not once, not even for a second, she is not reflecting on the fact that she is actually talking about Suraj's own and only family that he has in this world. Does she realize in which position Suraj is?
- his relationship with his own father, once based on love and respect, has now deteriorated to the point that his father sees no purpose in this life apart from killing and making his own son suffering;
- his mother was thrown out of the house and now lives in poverty (no discussion here if she deserves it or not, I am just presenting her current state);
- his only sister, Ragni, is after his life; for those who have not fallow the show from the beginning, I'll let you know that Suraj cared for Ragni and she used to care for him too; Suraj always looked after her; maybe sometimes he was annoyed to have her around all the time just as any elder brother would be with his little sister, but he did care for her.
I still remember when Ragini scolded Chakor for pointing the finger at Suraj and pushed Chakor in order to punish her for this. Chakor wanted to hit Ragni back but Suraj stepped in to defend Ragni. And when she came back home after missing for ten years, he was more than happy to have her around again. He accepted her even after he found out that she is his half sister.
Having said all of these, has Chakor ever considered how Suraj must be feeling to see his own family torn apart like this? I've liked Suraj since his childhood days most of all because I noticed that all he wanted was not money and power, like many people have misunderstood, but he wanted the love and the appreciation of his father. And not only this, he wanted to see his parents happy. He valued money and power because these is what his own parents valued. I always believed that Chakor and Suraj are the "two faces of the same coin". If Suraj had been born into a bandhua family, he would have done everything and even more than Chakor did to free his parents.
Paying attention to this character since his childhood days, I can tell for sure that all these family problems affect him deeply. Just because he doesn't complain about it, it doesn't mean that he is not hurt.
So, what about Suraj after KN and Ragni will be in jail? Chakor will return to her family and live happily while Suraj will go back to an almost empty house where he will see daily the woman that he loves living happily with Vivaan.
I, for one, don't believe at all that Suraj has ever loved Imli or that the child was his, but Chakor believes this version. So, knowing this, she never once consoled him for losing Imli because she thought he fully deserves it. It is his punishment. And never once asked him how he must feel about the loss of his unborn child.
No doubt that she likes this "new" Suraj since he is her new "YES man" in town. She misses that.
That person who never contradicted her, who did whatever she decided even risking their own wedding in order to save the reputation of her spoiled selfish little sister. Yes, I am talking about Vivaan. I don't think she is particularly missing him, just the feeling of having someone by her side to support her and agree with her in each and everyone of her actions.
But the question is: can she accept Suraj for who he really is? With his flows and all? I want her to try to understand him for who he really was and is, not for what she wants him to be! I want her to stop seeing him as one dimensional character. Honestly, right now, she only sees him as a weapon against KN and nothing more. She talks about her dreams, but what about his dreams? She sees him so concern with her future, but she doesn't return the same favor. I want her to show him some sympathy.
Once Suraj almost begged her to see the things from his perspective, to understand the complex relationship he shares with his father, but nothing went through her ears and let alone through her heart.
From my point of view, when it comes to her fight with KN, I find Chakor just as full of hate as KN is. She bares such hate and such ambition to see him destroyed that she sees nothing else beyond these. The only difference is that Chakor wants to use legal methods.
I know it is too early in the show for Chakor to understand Suraj. It will come gradually, I just wanted to pointing out the present situation.
