A recent social media post by Karan Johar has sparked quiet chatter in industry circles. The filmmaker reshared a message that read, “Only love for you...stay Sood...stay loyal!!! Always be the man you are.” While the note appeared celebratory, many saw it as an indirect remark amid Janhvi Kapoor’s recent exit from his talent agency.
Janhvi recently ended her long association with Dharma Cornerstone Artist Agency and signed with Collective Artist Network, which represents names like Deepika Padukone and Rashmika Mandanna. Her move drew attention because she had been with Johar’s ecosystem since her debut. The shift has led to industry speculation, with some observers linking it to Dharma’s recent underwhelming run and Janhvi’s search for stronger career momentum.
Johar’s post, however, was dedicated to Harshvardhan Rane, who completed five years with his talent management agency on March 1, 2026. Sharing a photograph of the actor, Johar wrote, “Today marks his 5th year with us… a resilient, solid, talented and loyally relentless force who has hugely made it on his own merit and incredible sincerity and hard work!! More power to @harshvardhanrane on his victorious journey at the movies and may he be always blessed with the audience love and success.”

Rane reshared the message and reflected on his journey. “A solid 5 years indeed. Some of my choices worked, some didn’t, but you graciously allowed me to make my mistakes and let me do the films that I believed in,” he wrote. Calling himself one of the first talents to join, he added, “My aim has always been to make the agency proud — and that patiently continues. Here’s to building the coming years with even greater strength and stronger integrity.”
The milestone comes after a structural shift at Dharma Productions. In December 2025, the banner acquired Cornerstone’s stake and relaunched the venture as Dharma Collab Artists Agency. The company is led by Uday Singh Gauri as CEO and Rajeev Masand as COO.
Rane was last seen in Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. He has wrapped Silaa and will feature in the sequel to Sanam Teri Kasam. The agency’s roster also includes Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Tiger Shroff and others.
