@Sriarshi, nothing in this world justify killing your own father. This is a sin. There is nothing to debate on this issue. In holy books it says clear not to kill your parent. It doesn't say that you can kill him in certain conditions. So, CV better clear this or maybe they want to send a social message that it is OK to kill your parent.

KN was harsh on Suraj but he was also proud of him. Many parents to that and it doesn't mean their kid should kill them. And many parents prefer one child over an other, that doesn't mean the other child should go to that extend and kill him just because he felt jealous.

Suraj betrayed first KN, then KN sent goons to kill him. After that, Suraj instead of going to apologize (after all the both of them did bad things together so why should KN be in jail and Suraj outside), he sent a killer to finish him.

Anyway I don't believe Suraj did it, there were will be twist regarding this matter because I refuse to believe Suraj was parting like crazy when his father was butchered in prison. It will make him very inhuman (see the roka ceremony episode)

And, Sriarshi, thank you very much that you are willingly to discuss such a sensitive matter which many of the members here refuse the acknowledge it and prefer to hide it under the carpet as it never happened and focus only on romance. I really appreciate you for this.

Suraj's character is totally lost. This is no longer the character I used to like so much. I got really emotional attached to him and even if it is silly, it hurts so much to see him destroyed like this.

He was the smartest character in the show, his plans saved KN many times. As cunning as KN is, it was Suraj who had to explain to him many times what the situation is all about.

Now he is everyone's fool.

He used to have a mind of his own. He fallowed what he believed no matter what other peopel were saying.

Now he is a pushover. Everyone can emotional manipulate him. From Imli to Ranjana.

He used to be composed, the quality that I admired the most at him. He was not an angry young man, he was just negative. He was always in control of his emotions.

Now he has become hysterical, some copy of Imli (throwing tantrums all the time at Chakor). Even when he fights with his father's goons he no longer has a manly attitude.

He used to make plans all the time, from opening a factory to plan Chakor's victory on Asian Games. His mind worked all the time on how to make more money and gain more prestige in society for his family.

Now he is only planning on getting more and more drunk.

He used to drink but in limits. He didn't need anyone to tell him when to stop.

Now he is drunk day and night.

He talked to Chakor in a more respectful manner before marriage when she was his enemy than how he does these days. Even when he used to blackmailed her, he used to be respectful.

Now, what can I say, he is more than just disrespectful to her.

-> Coming to his love for Imli, well I think this is the most unnatural thing that CV could have done to this character. A proud man like Suraj who was educated to have the best in life, would have never fallen in love with an uneducated hysterical disloyal girl like Imli. Yes, disloyal. Many people think that Imli loved him unconditional, but Imli was after her own interest and betrayed him big time with that shooting competition which led to KN no longer trusting in Suraj's qualities. Suraj suffered a lot because of that. He knew that Imli betrayed him and that betrayal would have been reason enough for Suraj to never fall in love with such a characterless girl as Imli.

Killing his father ... I thought he ditched his father because he already so many times insulted him and his mother..Every time he said so many hurtful words for Suraj he even surprised to hear it from his dad...

Accepting Ranjana ...He had no option ..So may be he accepted...But when Vivaan taking his position i saw he is getting jealous getting angry ...At one point he even accepted Vivan is good and smart..He is not...But he never think of consequences..But one day police arrested them...He already warned his father ...He didn't believed him...He knows he have to be in jail his entire life...So when lawyer offers him he can get out he gone out...I thought he used his brain smart get out otherwise any other day his father sacrifice him for sake of his illegitimate children...

But for me It looks like if a father marries another women and giving importance to children of second wife..First Wife children accepts it because there is no chance...If they but if they supress them they will go against them..Suraj waited for opportunity...That's what i understood from going out of jail...Even suraj tells how he treated him and praising Vivaan when going out of jail

For me rape attempt looks odd and also sudden love for imli...

Whatever happens we can't correct it ...But little hope if cv's wanna show why Suraj did all of these than it would be good...I don't know it will happen r not...But he will apologize to all his doings when he propose Chakor then it will be enough for me ...Kn and imli don't need any apology ...i know His apology don't correct his mistakes...But everyone deserve second chance... hope from that day we can see new Suraj

YES this is my problem as well.i dont know why they have made suraj's character so loose.and then cast him opposite the protagonist,chakor toh devi hai lekin mahaadevi imli,the most bechaari ,sabki dulaari,cvs wants to show that the duo sisters are living angels in the world,they are compatible for each other,according yo the cvs they dont even need partners as cute as vivaan and as hot as SURAJ.

So I am thinking that they were planning to make ImRaj and ViKor the final pair, but becoz fans demand was more for SuKor and then they had to change the pairs, but the damage was already done
