...Werewolves instead of vampires?

& Bella fell in love with the imperfect Jacob first?

And then the flawless Edward Cullen, the vampire, came into her life? And she started falling for him?

Do you think you'd like the series all the same? Would you be more/less attracted by a werewolf series?

I wasn't expecting something like this Madiha. 😛 I can't really say because I never thought about it (and I don't want to think about it, hehe). Maybe I would prefer Jacob or maybe not.😕 😆

It depends would their love story still be the same. Like how they meet etc, exceptthe order is switched, or how they meet is diff.

Its a hard thing to imagine. 😕 😆

One of the reasons so many people like Edward, is because he's so unlike a character from other series. He's the perfect guy every girl wud want to have in her life. Edward really is the USP of Twilight, and Jacob's popularity can also be credited to Edward in a way. Twilight wouldn't be twilight if it was the other way around, and it wouldn't be as popular as it is now if it was different. I'm not being biased, even if it may seem so, just looking at it practically.

But maybe I would like it the same if personalities were switched. Its not the werewolves-vampires thing it depends on. People enjoy twilight because of the wonderful way Steph has realistically molded each character's unique personality.

@Kru: great point! 😆 Thats wht i was tryna get too, it depends on whether their lifestyle is switched around. as well, I mean sure we fell in love w/ edwards great looks, but he has one damn cool personality 😳

Ummm..to your question, depends on the plot, characterisation and if we are able to relate.

p.s. i am a complete Edwardian bt i dont think he is flawless, He overanalyzes things, overreacts , is a tad bit overprotective .. Bt actually its the depth of his love for her, how he always put her interests before his happiness that make him irresistable (Not his great looks or money or achievements)

and ritika you've definitely made a great point. i apologize for totally overlooking those guys. He's not flawless indeed! 😳

I just had this random thought where, if the series was about werewolves, and was a Jacob-Bella story, but then Edward was the third person, everything was exactly the same, besides the fact that Bella met Edward first and fell for him first. What if she met Jacob first? What if she fell for Edward later? And then she was stuck between both of them? The Volturi were still after her because she was with Edward too?
