Shreyas Talpade & Daisy Shah - in Palaash Muchhal s movie.
I like it because there is SO much to mock: Canon Mary Sues/Gary Stus, purple prose, protagonists' morose conversation dripped in fructose syrup, no plot, thesaurus rape, grammatical incoherence, improper syntax, "be" verb monotony, etc. You name anything that is a huge no-no in creative writing and Twilight has it. That is more than slightly remarkable 😛. Twilight provides with the best spork-able material. Making fun of Twilight and reading some of the many, many sporks based around Twilight amuses me a lot. I also find Jacob a somewhat interesting character even though he has become a pedophile post-BD.
Less amusing is that Meyer's Twilight series is promoting a book that does not NEED the kind of promotion and readership (read scarily obsessed fangirls) the Twilight fad has to offer. The new promotion cover for Wuthering Heights makes me weep for the future of humanity. Poor Emily Bronte must be rolling in her grave.
