Omg 😭mela pillu. Uska kya reaction hoga he would be so sad na. I can't see him sad. Even in show mujhe uss din kabhi na ho jab mere pillu ko koi dard pahunche. Please update next part di. I want my pillu ok and happy

Episode 28

Reaching home, Moksh put his school bag down and went straight into the bathroom. He sat down on the bathroom floor with his head between his knees unable to stop his tears. Was Aai his step mother? Was Siddhi his step sister?

He knew the meanings of these words and had even read in many stories that stepmothers were never kind, they treated their step children cruelly.

His mind began to think, But my Aai never treats me badly. She loves me so much, how can someone say that she is a step mother. She doesn't punish only me when I'm wrong ! She punishes Siddhi also when she is wrong. She is always fair to both of us.

One part of Moksh refused to believe the words uttered by Vishal and his mother. Who was this lady, Aparna, who was spreading such lies?

Another part of him wondered, what if it was true? What if truly I'm not Aai's son? One day would she stop loving him? Will Siddhi also stop calling him Dada?

"Dada.. Dada…. Darwaza kholo Dada." he heard Siddhi banging the bathroom door.

"Siddhi tum jao yahan se.. main thodi der me aaunga."

Siddhi ran to her mother who was sitting like a statue and shook her, "Aai, Dada bahar nahi aa re hain. Main na, kal uss Vishal ke mummy ko bhi pathar se marungi, school ke bahar. Tab toh principal nahi daantegi na."

Kalyani stared at her daughter, "Siddhi chup ho jao, kisi ko maarna achi baat nahi hai."

"Aai, woh log kitne bure hai, Dada ko kitna rulaya. Baba bhi toh bure logon ko punish karte hai, mai bhi waise hi karungi."

"Main tumhe baad me samjhaongi, abhi tumhare Dada ko dekhkar aati hun." she ran towards the bathroom.

"Pillu ! Pillu ! Darwaza kholo Pillu. Bahar Niklo."

Hearing his mom's voice, Moksh began to whimper even more.

"Nahi Aai ! Mai bahar nahi aaunga."

"Dekho Pillu, zid mat karo, kitni der se andar baite ho."

"Mai nahi aaunga."

"Phir mujhe gussa aayega ! Bahar Niklo ! abhi !" Kalyani raised her voice a little so that he would come out and he did.

His eyes were red and swollen and Kalyani felt as though someone had pierced her heart with a dagger. She could not bear to see her son in such a state.

She hugged him close to her chest, "Pillu ! Chalo pehle mai tumhare liye hot chocolate banati hun."

Siddhi also came running to them, "Dada ! Chalo hum cartoons dekhte hai, tumhe jo pasand hai woh wala, princess nahi teekh hai." she held Moksh's hand and led him to the sofa where she had put on Moksh's favourite Alvin and the Chipmunks. She sat close to him and watched it too. Kalyani brought in two mugs of hot chocolate and asked them to drink it.

She then quickly went into the study room and took her phone out. Once convinced that both the kids were engrossed in TV, she searched her contacts and pressed on a number. The person picked up the phone.

"Hello !! Kaun bol raha hai?"

"Aatya !"

"Deva ! Kalyani ! Aaj achanak meri yaad kaise aa gayi?" Aparna replied with sarcasm.

"Aapne aisa kyun kiya? Kyun Moksh ki zindagi me zeher gholna chahti hai aap?"

"Maine kya kiya? Sirf apne dost ko sach bataya. Isme kya galti hai?"

"Sirf dus saal ka hai woh ! Use kitna takleef hoga yeh bhi nahi soch sakthi. Chahiye kya aapko?"

"Tumne aur Malhar ne mujhse mere naatu se milne ka haq cheen liya. Mujhe ye bardash nahi ki mera naatu tumhari swateli maa ko Nani bulaye. Woh mera naatu hai isliye mai Moksh ko apne saath rakhna chahti hun."

"Kya bakwaas kar rahi hai aap? Sampada aur Atharv ke do do bache hai. Woh aapke naatu nahi hai kya? Unke saath nahi rehti kya aap?"

"Woh dono bache Sampada ke kok me nahi pale Isliye main sirf Moksh ko Sampada ka beta maanti hun. Waise bhi Moksh ko haq hai jaanne ka ki uski asli maa kaun hai."

"Sharam nahi aati aapko Aatya, apne ghar ke bachon ke baare me ye sab bol rahi hai. Ek baat bataiye, samaj lo ki Moksh aap ko mil gaya, toh kya Sampada khush hogi, kya Atharv use apnaega? Kya unke dono bache use apna bhai bana lenge?"

"Uski chinta tum mat karo. Mujhe pata hai ki Sampada bhi apne bete Moksh ke liye tarasti hai. Atharv ko Sampada bade aasani se mana legi. Jab bade maan jaaye to bachon ka kya… hunh.. Tum apna socho… kaisa lagega Moksh ko sab use pata chalega ki tumne aur Malhar ne milkar usse uski asli maa cheen li. Nafrat karega woh tum logon se."

"Bas kijiye Aatya ! Agar aapne mere Pillu ko koi bhi chot pahuchane ki koshish ki toh mujhse bura koi nahi hoga."

"Kar kya sakti ho tum? Mai tab tak chup nahi rehne wali jab tak Moksh ye sach na jaan le aur meri Sampada ke paas daudta hua na aa jaye." she disconnected the call.

The phone slipped out of Kalyani's hand and tears gathered in her eyes. She quickly wiped her eyes and saw that the children were still glued to the TV. She prepared dinner, her hands working by themselves while her mind and heart were burning in anger and agony.

Moksh seemed a little better and didn't question her about anything but Kalyani knew her son well. He was putting on a brave face while he actually didn't know what to believe. She was just glad that Siddhi was successfully managing to distract him for the time being. Eventually the questions would come but before that she would have to talk to her husband.

"Chalo ab donon jaldi se khana kha lo aur so jao, bohot der ho gayi?"

"Aai, Baba ab tak nahi aaye, mai phone karti hun. "

Kalyani stopped her daughter because she would innocently blurt out everything that happened over the phone and then Moksh would again become upset.

"Abhi Baba meeting me hai, mana kiya phone karne se."

The kids ate and went to sleep but Kalyani could not push even a morsel of food through her throat as Aatya's disgusting talk kept playing in her mind.

Though sleepy, she was waiting for Malhar to come home because this matter could not wait anymore.

It was very late when Malhar entered the house and he found Kalyani waiting for him. "Kalyani, soyi nahi tum?"

"Nahi mai bas aapka intezaar kar rahi thi. Aap fresh ho jayiye, main khana garam kar deti hun."

Malhar went in for a shower and came out in his night clothes. He sat down for his dinner but could sense something was amiss as Kalyani was trying to serve food but it landed on the table instead of his plate. He held her hand to stop her as she was about to drop another serving.

"Kalyani, dhyan kahan hai tumhara? Kuch hua hai kya? "

Kalyani quickly cleared the mess, "Sorry Malharji, Aap pehle kha lijiye, phir baat karte hai."

"Kalyani, mujhe kuch nahi chahiye, kya pareshani hai batao." He got up and led her to the sofa and made her sit beside him.

Kalyani couldn't control herself anymore and just buried her head into his chest and her tears were soaking his t-shirt.

"Malharji, jo dard mai apne Pillu ko kabhi dena hi nahi chahti hun woh koi aur use dena chahta hai."

"Kalyani, teek se samjhao…."

She poured out everything that had happened at school, home and finally her conversation with Aparna.

"Malharji, ab hum kya karenge? Pillu ne mujhe kuch pucha nahi lekin uske man me sawal zaroor hai."

Malhar was shocked but regained his composure in a few minutes, "Kalyani, yaad hai, humne iss baare me pehle baat kiya tha. Ab woh follow karne ka samay aa gaya hai."

"Main samjhi nahi…" Kalyani looked at him questioningly.

"Isse pehle ki koi baharwala use aur chot pahuncha sake, ya phir use koi jhooti kahani bata sake, hume apne bache ko sab sach batana hoga."

"Malharji, woh sirf dus saal ka hai, kaise samjhega sab kuch? "

"Vishwas karo Kalyani, zaroor samjhega."

"Agar woh Sampada ke paas jaana chahe toh?"

"Toh hum use mauka denge.."

"Nahi Malharji, mai ye nahi kar sakti, mai apne Pillu ko kahin nahi bejungi."

"Kalyani, iss takleef se hum sabko guzarna hoga, lekin aise situations insaan ko strong banate hain. Hamara Moksh bhi strong banega. Use zaroor samaj aayega ki uski Aai kaun hai."

"Malharji… " she cried more.

"Fikar mat karo Kalyani, tumhe bharosa rakhna hoga tumhare aur Moksh ke raabta par. Aur mujhe pata hai ki wahi jeethega."

She didn't reply, just tightened her hug around his waist and rested her head on his shoulder. He gently brushed the stray hairs off her face and wiped her tears.

"Kal sirf Siddhi school jaayegi. Hume Moksh se akele baat karni hogi."

She smiled through her tears, "Waise Malharji, ye Siddhi maar peet me utar gayi. Maana ki usne apne Dada ke liye kiya, par use bhi samjhana hoga."

"Hmm….sahi hai. Dono bache hume apne ungliyon pe nacha rahe hain."

Laying down on the bed, Kalyani's heart was filled with worry for Moksh and what would his reaction be after he heard the truth, Malhar's words had given her some hope and of course she believed in the special connection that she held with her son. She closed her eyes with a silent prayer, Bappa please mere Pillu ko strong banaiye aur use sahi raasta dikhaiye.
