I doubt THR will have any more permanent characters.

To me, Bapji has and always will be a coward and selfish man. And the praise that he's getting from Malhar doesn't match his reality. So once all his tracks are complete, I don't think he'll stay. Moreover, the raabta is that Kaka is always been Malhar's true father not this Bapji.

Similar sentiment to Madhuri. The raabta has always been with AnuYani. There is no room for her after a certain point. And this Madhuri I'm 100% sure is a fake/imposter setup by Rachit.

Feeling like the chances of both these characters staying long term is very less.

To me, the biggest indicator that Bapji is leaving is that Malhar seems to think he's such a perfect man. The opinion Malhar has of him doesn't match reality at all. And I was confused for the longest time as to why he thought his father was such a sankari and amazing man. Nothing about what the audience has seen matches that description at all. And Malhar, after Swara, is the most attached to Bapji. For that reason alone, I sense another betrayal in store for Malhar. And after that betrayal, I don't know if Bapji will stay.

And despite the insurance fraud he did, Malhar had accepted it as a move made by a desperate man who wanted to keep his family afloat. And also he was too overwhelmed to know that his dearest sister and father were both alive. And he does not see Ahir as his father's failure to give a good upbringing.

Baapji is a typical ancient Father-in-law, a grey character. As of now, he is shown to be a person ready to do anything for his family especially when Izzat is compromised. I think even after Asavri exits the AN, Madhav will remain bcz his characyer will bring the spice in the story whenever needed. His character is going to shape up like AS. Kabhi Meetha kabhi Kadhva.

But I have always felt like there is more to Bapji's insurance fraud story and his motivations to spy on Malhar in the beginning are unclear. His whole BG and explaination seems shady to me. Feeling like either the CVS will redeem his character and he'll become a truly gray character like AS or he'll end up being evil and leave.

His character could go either way in that regard but I don't think we need another AS in this story. And THR's new formula seems to be less permanent characters and more rotating new entries to spice up the story. Cause THR is a story driven by its villains.
