Malhar is hurt way too much now to see sense. His wife betrayed him and abandoned their days old baby and that sort of betrayal will surely take a toll on the person. But even then he still has a soft side that comes out very rarely. I think as the show progress he will mellow down and realise his mistakes. Kalyani will make him realise him mistakes soon. We all know how Kalyani was in the beginning of the show. How rude she was to Anupriya because of a misunderstanding. But once that misunderstanding was cleared she started respecting and loving Anupriya. The same way, once Malhar realise how wrong he was to trust Sampada's lies, he will start treating Kalyani with love and respect.
