Part- 5

Kanak was in the classroom. She lay down on the writing bench, and thinks about happened in the riverside. She looks at friend and calls her.

Kanak: preethi...preethi...

Preethi was searching something in her bag. She didn't hear kanak's voice at all.

Preethi still searching her. Kanak shouts to get her attention.

Kanak: preethi...

Kanak shouted in a high voice.

Everybody in the class turn aroubd and looks at kanak.

A voice from the front says "kanak, preethi stand up both of u"

Kanak and preethi obeys. It was actually her professor's voice. She was taking the class.

Kanak and preethi looks at the prof.

Prof: what r u doing ? If u people want to talk, go outside and talk, don't disturb the class.

Kanak and preethi's eyes were down.

Prof: both of u, out

Preethi stares at kanak.

Kanak makes a pity face. Then both of them left the classroom. Preethi goes to a stone bench near the tree. Kanak comes and sits beside to her. Kanak tried to consoles her.

Kanak: preethi...

Preethi: stop!! u idiot.

Kanak: sorry preethi.

Preethi: today only, we stepped into the 2nd semester. Now we are the outstanding students.

Kanak: sorry preethi.

Preethi stares at her.

Preethi: leave it, what is the matter?

Kanak comes closer to her.

Kanak: today morning, in the riverside, i saw a man.

Kanak narrated the whole story.

Preethi: so what?

Kanak: i feel something weird.

Preethi: weird... You didn't see him atall.

Kanak: i feel something...

Preethi stopped her sentence by dragging her.

Preethi: come, lets go to canteen.

Uma opened his wooden cupboard. And he keeps the earring in the cupboard. And he goes out.

In the late evening, uma comes to his room. He see karma arranging his bed.

Karma: dhadhusa, i have already prepared the bed.

Uma nods his head. Karma goes out. And he closes the door. Uma lie on the bed. He covered himself with the blanket and closes his eye. After a few minutes later, he turns, then he opens his eye. And his glance was captured by the cupboard. He looks at the cupboard.

Then he unwrap his blanket and goes near to the cupboard and opens it. He takes her earring in his hand. And Lost in his thoughts again.

Kanak and her friends were watching the tv. They were watching a comedy movie. In between they all laughs for the joke scenes.But kanak remain silence. And stares at the tv. After a few minutes later, everybody laughs for a joke. But Kanak remains silence again. Everybody stares at kanak.

Preethi shakes kanak,

Preethi: kanak...kanak.

Kanak: ahhh...

Preethi: what happen... I don't think that, this movie is too serious.

Kanak: what happen.

Preethi : nothing, dinner is ready. Shall we go...

Kanak nods her head.

After the dinner, everybody was busy with their works. Kanak sits still. Preethi notice kanak. She comes near to her. She keeps her hand in kanak's shoulder.

Preethi: what happened?

Kanak: nothing

Preethi: do u still think about that.

Kanak: i couldn't stop think about...

Preethi: i think you're probably too stressful. So that u still thinking about it. I think u have to sleep.

Kanak: but preethi, it still 8.45 pm.

Preethi: its k kanak. Sleep now.

Kanak lies in bed but still she searches for the sleep.

Flames: sleep... The thing that u want to know may be found in ur sleep. Rest urself with peace. The peace with leads u to what u want

I am eagerly waiting for their meeting again.

Or they going to meet in their sleep?

You left us with too many unanswered questions and hopefully we will get an update to answer some of them dear .
