Kanak stood in a room surrounded by medicinal equiptment
"Um what am I meant to do with all this "

A warm arm brushed against her waist, his hand wrapped firmly around her wrist
His voice was husky as he spoke into her ear

"Sort them into the right categories listed above those boxes"
To be honest, Kanak hadn't listened to anything Uma had said

She leaned back into his hold, her eyes firmly shut, just enjoying him being so close
"Think you're up to it" he asked
"Uh huh" she replied

Uma pulled back, a sly grin on his face as he walked away
"Get a hold of yourself woman" she muttered

Bending down she picked up something that looked like it belonged into a horror film
Looking at the boxes she huffed
This was hopeless

Kanak wouldnt admit defeat this early
Putting things in different boxes she wiped her forehead with the back of her hand

Tying her hair up she whistled
Uma leant against the door frame watching silently , a smile on his face

Kanak eventually finished 3 hours later
Walking out she sat down
"Done" she blew a stray hair out of her face

When it fell back down again she frowned
Uma tucked it behind her ear
Kanak felt so caught in his gaze, the heat rose to her face

Standing up she turned around
Uma pulled the band out of her hair
"I prefer it down"

Kanak couldnt help the shiver that went down her spine
Uma walked away to look at the equiptment

He wasnt going to tell her it didnt matter where anything went
It was a useless task
But he enjoyed her company, there was something calming about her presence

"Good" she asked, hopeful
He nodded "Great"
The smile that formed on her lips left Uma awestruck

"Do you need me to take you home"
Kanak shook her head "No my friend is picking me up, bye Uma"

Without realising she kissed his cheek
Uma lifted his fingers to where her lips had been
Momentarily yes, but it was like he could still feel them

Uma pulled the blind away, watching her hug a man she got into the car
Who was this man?
Uma frowned as he watched the car drive away

Right, I wrote this in less than 10 minutes so please dont judge me!

Uma thought to stop by Kanak's work
He was not expecting to see the man who took her home, openly staring at Kanak as she worked

Kanak's eyes fell on Uma
She couldnt hide her excitment as she waved him over

Uma traipsed over, his steely eyes remained on this man
Kanak smiled "Uma this is Jai"

Jai had a knowing smile as he put his hand out
Uma took his hand, Jai's face lost colour as Uma gripped it his hand harder

"Nice to meet you" he said , his teeth gritted
Jai laughed awkwardly before shaking his now numb hand

Kanak held out a sweet in her hand
"Try this"
Uma watched as Jai took the sweet from her hand using his mouth

He couldn't help the overwhelming jealousy he felt
Kanak held some out to him, but Uma shook his head

Kanak's face fell, she had really wanted Uma to try what she made
She had made it especially for him

"Please"
Uma looked back at her, why did she look so sad?
Nodding he went to take some
"Let me feed you"

Uma opened his mouth, Kanak jumped back as he bit into her finger
Her cheeks flushed red

Uma grinned "It was very good, I like it"
"You do"
Uma nodded, grinning at how happy she was that he liked it

"Kanak I have to go but ill see you soon, nice meeting you Uma"
Kanak waved at Jai

"Who was that"
Kanak jumped at his accusatory tone
"My friend, we met in high school"

Uma nodded
"Why, you jealous"
"Pfft, whats to be jealous about"

Kanak's jaw dropped "Hey, hes handsome to"
Uma turned to glare at her
"Is that so"

Uma was now right infront of Kanak
Her back against a cabinet
"Is that so" Uma repeated

Kanak nodded, then shook her head, then nodded again
"When he does this, does it affect you the way it does when I do"

Kanak was confused, her eyes nearly popped out of their sockets as she felt his stubble rub against her cheek
Then his lips pressed against her cheek

She gulped loudly, squeezing her eyes shut
"I wont ask again Kanak"

Trying to get herself together, she spoke
"Well he doesnt do that"
"Good, because i'm the only one that should"

With that he was gone.
