Part 3-

Uma wiped his hands on the towel, raising his eyebrow

"Done, 5 boxes of sweets, made and sold"
Kanak stood forward "Colour me impressed, I didn't think you could do it"

A man wandered over slamming the box of sweets down
"This is horrible, my wife was sick"

Uma's face paled, Kanak apologised, made him some more and slipped some money under the box

Handing the man the box, she mouthed a thank you and turned to face Uma

Uma crossed his arms
"What was that under the box"
"What box, I have no idea what you're on about"

Uma continued to look at her
"Maybe you need some glasses, here try my Bhaboo's"

Slipping Santosh's glasses on his face, she smiled
Uma pulled them off "I can't see a thing"

Kanak tutted "Thats because you took them off now put them back on"

The duo struggled over the glasses till they heard a snap
Kanak gasped and stood back

Santosh limped over
"Has anyone seen my glasses"

Kanak turned to Uma "Dont worry just hide them, shes quite blind so she wont find them "

Santosh stood up and pulled at Kanak's ear "I may be blind, but im not deaf"

Uma covered his mouth with his hand as he smirked

Turning he fixed the glasses and handed them to Kanak
"How did you"

Uma smiled, greeted Bhaboo and walked out of the shop
"You could say it was done with grace"

Kanak's jaw dropped as Uma walked away
Santosh shook her head as she walked away leaving Kanak stood alone

Kanak lifted her phone, tapping the desk she huffed loudly
"Hello, what took you so long to pick up"

Uma looked down at the phone, lifting it back to his ear "Kanak, what do I owe the pleasure"

"I have decided, that as you can do what I can do, I want to prove I can do what you can do"
Kanak said breathlessly

Uma furrowed his brows "Im sorry, you want to treat people"
"Nooo, I dont like blood , I just want to prove myself "

Uma paused "Prove yourself to who"
"You"
Kanak rolled her eyes, couldn't the man just accept she wanted to spend time with him and leave it at that?

"But you dont need to prove yourself to me I believe in you enough"
Kanak blushed furiously

"Awww, you're cute"
Hm, cute.
No-one had ever described him ad cute before, but if it was coming from Kanak, he was sure he could get used to it.

"How so" his voice was husky, making Kanak bite her lip in anticipation to see him
But then again, this was Kanak

Her and good looking men didnt work well and she became a blubbering mess
"Well uh, I will leave that to your imagination"

"Miss Rathi, are you flirting with me"
Kanak stuttered before hanging up the phone

Uma laughed at the beeping sound, putting the phone down he shook his head

Sorry this is late! I have been so run off my feet, anyway Happy New Year to all of you lovely people, I hope the new year brings you all the happiness you all so deserve.
