" what are you doing" kanak inquired looking uma engrossed in his work.
" you have been blessed with vision.you can see it. " uma roughly replied without looking at kanak.
Kanak make a pout.
" khadoos! I am here trying to start conversation and here ,he is just ending it with his cold replies.
Kanak came in uma's work room for two reason; first to continue morning impact in their relationship and secondly to pass two two hours so that she can start her dressup for party.
Meanwhile, uma was pretending to be engrossed in his work.he was irritated when kanak had marched in this room and continuously trying to talk to him.
" now she want to talk to me! Obviously, that match stick must be busy right now and I am as usual her favorite pass time." Uma thoughts were roaming around jai.
"Uma! You are doing this since 30 minutes .it is not ready yet?" Kanak asked with a bored expression.
" this medicine took atleast 2 hours to get ready and as I have a regressive mind, I will follow the prescribe time and method to make this medicine. " uma replied still avoiding contact with her.
" regressive! How that come in?" Kanak looked confused.
" uma! If that's the only method to make this medicine,it will be same for everyone.there is no regressive or progressive approach to it"
" ohh! I thought in your modern world, this can be taken as old mind set ." uma taunt back.
" what has happened to him! Though he was angry in morning but, didn't avoided or taunt like this to me.I think massisa have a telepathy about morning incident and she reloaded angry uma version again." Kanak thought logical possibility of uma actions.
" where are you going?" Kanak asked as uma stood.
" I am not a spiderman who can throw web and get those boxes here.maybe, your generation can have this feature ." uma walked towards shelve.

Uma ignored her completely.suddenly ,kanak started to cough ,her eyes were all wet.uma quickly picked glass of water and help kanak to drink it.kanak was smiling during all his actions.

" that's why these western cold desserts should be ban.they are highly injurious to health.look at yourself, you started coughing ,after few minutes ,you will suffer from fever,body ache, sore throat which can lead to pnamonia as weather is changing.you can also suffer from allergies as your immune power will be low and any mosquito can attack on you.this can also lead to possibility of getting many diseases! Aur khao bakwas cheezyn Bahar! " uma was panting.he started to check kanak pulse and on other side, kanak was looking him with wide eyes,open mouth and almost stopped breath.
" a simple cone can lead to this" she shook her head.
" uma! Are you OK !you are stating that a small icecream is dangerous as a bomb"
Uma looked into her eyes.
" what I just did! She will get that I am jealous...no not jealous...just not OK with her new born friend!"
Clock struck 8 and kanak realizes that she has to get ready.
" uma! Woh... I have a party tonight in a friends house.I will be back till 11." Kanak rushed towards her room before uma could stop her.
" thank god ! She left" uma relieved .

Kanak put up her black dress which she was reluctant to buy as it was little short.
" I should leave before uma can come in this room."
She put up light makeup, side bun with lose strands on her face ,a pair of earings and she completed her look with high heels .
" wah kanak! You look hot! If you were like this 1 month back, daku Singh should have broken his promise.but, here ,he is stuck in ice cream."
Something quickly struck her mind.
" icecream! How he knows I had in cream! It means uma saw me and more importantly jai in market and all this behaviour !" Kanak face brighten up...
" uma is jealous !" She had a loud laugh on this realization.
" oh daku Singh! You are jealous...bass! Just wait for tomorrow .I won't leave this chance." Kanak huuried as she was getting late for party.she picked up her clutch and moved towards door.

" she must have by this time.I will sleep peacefully now." Uma thought as he moved towards his room.
" uma sa! " palomi called from corridor.
" woh ! I had filled bath tub from warm water.weather is changing so its better you avoid late bath with cold water." Pallomi uttered fully scanning uma.she had not seen him since morning.
" thanks pallomi!i will use ot tonight.But, its better to stick with cold.I am used to of cold water since childhood so, this weather has no impact on me." Uma spoke firmly and moved towards his room.
As he opened door,he collided with a running force.
" what the hell..." Uma maintained his balance and as he look up,he realized it was biggest mistake to come in his room.
Kanak was all dolled up to make him lose his senses.uma scanned her,starting from top; her loose bun and strands falling on her.he clenched his wrist as his heart really wanted him to put them behind her ear.her earnings; so near to her.
" I wish it was me!"
He moved to her kohl eyes,pink lips,moving down to her soft body covered with a perfect dress that compliments her curves.he moved down and looked to her bared legs!
Uma gulped his emotions.
On other hand, kanak was nervously adjusting her dress.
" why he came in room!"
" yeh...woh...where are you going like this ?" Uma fumbled.
" woh...party" kanak uttered.
"Oh ! But, ...he wanted to stop her going out in this dress but, he stopped.
" her friend must be waiting.BTW ,they will be girls " uma assured him.
He moved towards her closet and took towel out.
" woh!!! Jai said its night party so,...I had to wear this!" Kanak give explanation.
Towel fell from uma's hand.
" you are going to that jai party .like this! Never!" Uma shouted at her.
Kanak become worriedbut, suddenly realized " why! You said no rule applies on me.I can wear anything.BTW, I think this dress is too long ,I should wear another one .you want to look? Its a mini skirt with bra top." Kanak smiled at him cunningly.
Uma didn't understand how to stop her speaking.
" how she has become so bold!" He can only think.
" don't you dare to utter another word.you are not going out; not in this dress or any other.and if you deny, you should ready to bear consequences." Uma warned her ,holding her hand.
Kanak gulped down her nervousness.
" kanak no! You can not be scared of him."
"Why...why are you screaming.just say it Na that you are jealous of jai since you saw us in market." Kanak replied hesitently .
" I am not liable to answer you.go and change." Uma pushed her towards wahroom.then, he locked front door .
" wah! You don't accept me as your wife and now you want me follow your rules.uma shankar! Decide what you want? Meanwhile ,I am going to party." Kanak wanted to left from other side but,was pushed in washroom by uma.
" don't argue! Change your clothes"
" I won't" kanak replied.
" kanak! ..." As uma stepped forward ,he could not maintain his balance on slippery floor and collided with kanak as both fell into bathtub.
It took them seconds to regain their consciousness.as they remove water from their face, they realized they were too close to each other.
Uma was without his kurta,all drenched in water and staring at her just inches away.kanak could feel her heart racing.
On other hand, uma was completely bowled.khol has smudge,lipstick has spread on her side cheeks slightly ,her hair strands were stick to her wet neck and her dress completely stick to her body, revealing more than necessary.
" oh god! This situation is more alarming" uma looked trapped.more bad part was played by warm water in tub.uma filled inches between them,scanned her whole face.
" beautiful!" Kanak was mesmerizing.she had shut her eyes completely and uma could feel her shivering.he put her strand back,making space for his action.
He placed a simple peck on her cheeks transferring sensation in kanakbody.she tightened her grip on uma's body.he continued same action with other strands leaving kanak weak on her knees.her hands were roaming on uma's back in accordance with his action.
Uma kissed lipstick marks on her cheek going back to its origin.he started to move close to her lips.
Suddenly, lamp fell in room, making them realize their actions.they quickly drifted away,coming out of tub.kanak couldn't hide her flushed face while uma ran to door,unlock it and disappear in corridor.
Kanak sat on on tub,closing her eyes ,memorizing what just happened.she touched her face and could feel his warmth ,his love .
Meanwhile,uma stopped at his working room and locked the door.he allowed himself to register what he had just done.he closed his eyes ,admiting his action.he could still feel his soft skin touch, sandlewood taste in his mouth.
Kanum! Both souls ,at their different places realized that the last moment had entangled them with each other for lifetime and it cannot be erased ...never!
