I could not have said it better. Also, we evaluate Sonu for his Playback and albums and not based upon some obscure little stage show done once in a blue moon!!👏

In stage shows there are a lot of logistic issues like mike placement, environment etc...with practice people learn the tricks.

he has sung in different styles , mood, rhythm... Sur, taal, laye, were different...I dont know what some people are trying to infer. What same style are you guys talking about? Prashant has not created magic in any of the songs even the so-called his comfort zone...(Though i must say his attempt at falsetto was decent in Bheege Hont, but was not great!)

.Amit has many in his repeotorie: Khamosh Raat, Nasha Yeh Pyaar, Pehla Nasha, Jhoomroo, Gustakh Dil, In Dino, Yeh Jo Des... I heard he got standing Ovation in a Punjabi song also.

Even heard him sing telugu.,.which is a different language genre all together..Carnatic is different from Hindustani.... He sang some lines in English also, which means he can do Western. He did yodelling in Kishore song perfectly....

Even a Sangeet Visharat has commented to me personally that AMIT is better than Prashant musically today. I rather believe her judgement than on hearsay and false propaganda!!!!!

yaaa plzz amit kan sing verstially he sang the jhoom jhoom jummru soo well it was a fasttt song nd everyone lyked itt... he sang omkara... he sang nasha yeh nasha... he sang gustak yeh dil ( actiony song by sonu)

yaaa he sings in 7 differnt lanuages...

yaaa do u think other pple can do tht.. no no they kant if u say many pple kan do tht... then ur lyinn cuz no they cant plz...some pple dont even kno more then 1 language... most pple kno only 2 or 3 languages...most wud b 4... but they proabaly dont even kno them fluently......but yaaa amit knos them FLUENTLY.. cuz u needa b fluent to sing.. so yaaa...now wtcha gunna say bout tht ... he doesnt show variety he shows the most variety u hav ever seen...

I honestly felt Prashant sounded much much better while singing the Mast Kalander song as compared to Amit or even the Dhamaal title track that they sang with Sanjay....infact I also felt that Amits voice while singing live is quite different from the studio recorded songs.....which was not the case with Prashant tonight....he sang the mission kashmir song beautifully live too.......Amit's voice just didnt appeal to me tonight at all.....n this coming from a person whose 2nd fav after Ankita was AMIT.

For the 1st time today I felt I liked Prashant better than Amit....n thought that no matter wat ppl say...Prashant has certainly improved a lot...n deserves the title of Indian Idol as much as Amit.

Yeh Hausla exposed Prashant's lack of classical training in the voice - besura-pan and came across as amaeture.. Which Javed Akhtar commented too..

Bheege Hont, QAZI Tauqeer Rocked better in the song than Prashant. I still remember Qazi's performance infront of Bipasha on that song. Even with his limited Range (called undeserving by some) Qazi created magic and gave a new dimension to it with his stage performance which Prashant lacked!

Ya Ali again his lack of sur was evident..just listen to Aneek's Ya Ali.... which is leagues ahead!

i have different opinion about prashant ya ali and yeh housla however if i agree with u than also we can say he took the chance, what about amit classical semiclassical songs? and if he try it and good in every department than todays performance would be better which is not the case
