Considering how much Naira suffered in the Goenka house...

As Manish was talking to Abhi, I was thinking how much Naira suffered in the Goenka house because of family issues. She was thrown out of the house, she was humiliated multiple times. Karthik loved her, but had a hard time balancing her and the family and considering all of this, I think what Manish proposed today was practical. In today's times, it is really hard to live in a joint family ,so I guess his sharth does come from years of experience. Ofcourse it is a TV show,so the female lead would never agree to living separately, but in today's times, I don't know how many girls would agree to living in a joint family.

I dont think so the proposal is so wrong...if a girl can leave her entire family for the boy, why can't the boy do the same...why does a girl have to let go off her entire family, her attachments, her parents.. if she can for the guy, the guy too should be able to knowing that his lover will suffer in his house...modern couples don't live with their families nowadays as they are working someone else ..and it's absolutely fine...

If it's a nuclear family is still fine, but if a girl doesn't want to adjust in a joint family it's her decision.

that’s what I said in another post, though Manish seems to offend everyone with the condition but he has a strong backing and valid reasons for it.

about today’s time , I am one who seeks to live in a joint family for as long as it can last. People like me who are born and brought up in joint families don’t really know any other way of living. We are quite used to having people around us, later if we have to live in a nuclear setup, it takes quite adjustment and also some people who c as not stay alone at home develop anxiety issues

manish n his entire family have been oblivious or Atleast haven’t tried to stop the hurt aarohi was causing her…so it sounds really hypocritical to say harsh won’t accept akshu..so move out…in any case harsh already has unknowingly accepted akshu …lol…saara din akshu akshu he is anyways saying…all his thoughts revolve around abhi n akshu

I completely agree. Manish was very correct and he also explained Abhimanyu. So, Abhimanyu knows the reasoning behind the condition. Its his statement back to him- tumhare pyaar par shaq nahi hai par dar lagta hai
