Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira–Armaan’s relationship hits another rough patch as they fight again

Tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode begins with Vidya getting emotional as she feels that Armaan will never accept the shirt she made for him. Watching everyone celebrate Mother’s Day with happiness leaves her heartbroken. She calls herself unlucky and says every mother is spending time with her child except her. Kaveri asks Abhira not to overthink the situation, but Abhira says both Vidya and Armaan are silently suffering because of the distance between them. Kaveri replies that nothing can be done immediately and all they can do is wait patiently. However, Abhira refuses to lose hope and thinks Armaan cannot spend his entire life holding onto anger and pain.

Meanwhile, Maira excitedly checks whether everyone’s tiaras and magic wands are ready for the celebration. She enthusiastically decides to decorate the entire house for Mother’s Day. At the same time, Armaan secretly tries to make a greeting card for Vidya. As memories from the past flash before his eyes, he becomes emotional and tears the card apart before completing it.

Elsewhere, Manisha requests Vidya to join the family celebration, but Vidya refuses. She believes her presence will make everyone uncomfortable, especially Armaan. Feeling unwanted, she decides to stay away from the function.

Soon, Maira and Mukti begin hosting the Mother’s Day event with excitement. Abhira notices Armaan standing alone and attempts to speak to him. During the celebration, Maira and Mukti invite Kaveri onto the stage. Abhira and Kajal lovingly make Kaveri wear a tiara, making her emotional.

Madhav is then asked to deliver a speech. He says mothers are extremely special, but for him, Kaveri is not just a mother figure but the soul of the family. Manoj jokingly complains that after finally becoming capable of buying gifts, Kaveri still refuses to accept anything from him. Kaveri warmly replies that love, respect, and attention matter far more than expensive presents.

Kajal also speaks emotionally and promises Kaveri that one day she will become a daughter worthy of her love and sacrifices. Madhav becomes emotional too and wishes that Kaveri remains connected to them in every lifetime as their mother.

Abhira then recalls her own journey with Kaveri. She shares how Kaveri entered her life and slowly filled the emptiness left behind by Akshara. Abhira reveals that when she was away from the family, Kaveri continuously sent her Maira’s pictures so she would never feel disconnected. Kaveri becomes emotional and apologizes if she has ever hurt her children knowingly or unknowingly. At that moment, she silently remembers Vidya and misses her presence deeply.

Later, Maira and Mukti invite Kajal to the stage. Krish wishes that Kajal receives every happiness she deserves in life. Kajal lovingly tells Krish that she hopes he gains wisdom and maturity. Tanya also thanks Kajal for always caring for her like a mother and wishes to have her as her mother in every birth.

The celebration continues as Maira and Mukti invite Manisha onto the stage. Arya praises Manisha and calls her the best mother ever, leaving Manisha emotional. Meanwhile, Vidya silently keeps thinking about Armaan and struggles to control her emotions.

In a shocking moment, Vidya suddenly loses balance, but Abhira quickly saves her from getting hurt. For a brief second, Vidya believes Armaan came to protect her. Emotional and overwhelmed, she says she always knew Armaan would never leave her alone on Mother’s Day. Vidya heartbreakingly admits that she cannot live if Armaan never forgives her. However, she is left stunned after realizing it was Abhira who saved her.

Later, Aryan says he feels lucky to have Manisha in his life as his mother. Manisha then asks Disha to say a few words for her too. Disha coldly wishes her Happy Mother’s Day but soon shocks everyone with her harsh words. She accuses Manisha of giving fake speeches in front of others and questions whether she feels embarrassed being a housewife. Disha says she had many expectations from Manisha, but now feels disappointed in her. Her hurtful comments leave Manisha shattered, while Aryan feels bad seeing Disha’s bitterness.

Towards the end, Maira and Mukti celebrate Mother’s Day with Abhira as the family dances together happily. Amid all the joy around him, Armaan stands quietly, looking confused, emotional, and disturbed. The episode ends on an emotional note.

In the precap, Armaan and Abhira are seen talking about keeping their balloons safe. During a basketball game, Abhira uses her balloon to protect a little girl from getting injured. Armaan loses his temper and questions whether Abhira has taken it upon herself to save everyone. He tells her that in helping others, she completely forgets about herself. Frustrated, he asks Abhira why she cannot become a little selfish for once.
