It's about what equation two people share. Are they on the same frequency when he bangs on her doors to try to meet her when she doesn't want to? Does she see that as his persistence or does she get scared by it? So, if they aren't on the same frequency, it's not love. It can't be one-sided because when you're in a relationship, you know where you are and where the other person is. It's not like one doesn't know how the other feels. Both of them know how comfortable the other person is and with what. Salman must have known too and still if he went ahead and crossed the line and multiple times at that, then he wasn't in love. He was just obsessed with her or being stubborn about it.
