They simply don't see how a woman can be impartial to five men Sakhi. When men can be impartial, so can women.

Bhai, you are truly mad :P But you are right. Saying someone is wrong is the worst thing one can do *innocently* If that is so, it must apply to every human being, haina?

Every word you said is very true Sakhi. When Krishna Himself is there, will He let His Sakhi enter a loveless marriage?

A very good point, Srutha.

When Krishna is there, he will not let his beloved sakhi enter a loveless marriage, and the Pandavas themselves would not wed her if she truly was averse to it. They had too much respect for her to force her into a marriage.

This is the exact reason why Lord Krishna's words to Karna were more a test than factual truth. Krishna knew how much Draupadi disliked Karna after the vastra haran. He would never force her into marriage with one of her molesters, and thus his words had a more sardonic bent and we can't take them literally.

Polygamy and to a lesser extent polyandry was common back in that era. Nowadays we cannot conceive of sharing our wife/husband with anyone else, so monogamy is right for our era as human beings now are not capable of loving more than one person at a time, but in the ancient days it was very different. Polygamy was so common it was not considered wrong. Some co-wives got along together, some didn't, but it was common. Even polyandry was not unheard of. Of course, a woman's position in society ensured that it was much rarer, but Krishna gave several examples of happy polyandrous relationships to Drupada to assure him that his daughter's marriages would not be looked down on in society.

The most important point is - would a fiery, self-reliant woman like Draupadi be cowed into a loveless or forced marriage? I hardly think so. If she married all five Pandavas, it was because she was attracted to all of them, and she grew to love them all in her own way.

SO since the marriages were all consented, what's the need to blame anyone for it? Whether it be Kunti, Arjuna, Yudhisthira or Krishna, they all played their parts in what was ordained by destiny and desired by Draupadi herself.

But it is. Kunti never did that, and never will do that. Kunti is not that kind of character Sanju.
Bua suffered, and bore it. A woman of silent strength, she was. I always feel Panchali looked up to her.

She did look up to her. In the beginning of the vana parva, when Kunti is bidding farewell to her sons and DIL as they're leaving for vanvaas, she asks Draupadi to take care of her five sons even though they failed in protecting her, and Draupadi warmly assures her that she will care for them as Kunti herself cared for them in their childhood, and that they'd never notice a difference in the love.

As common for vanvaas, the Pandavas and Draupadi did not share any amorous relationship those 13 years. They lived the live of a brahmachaari, and thus they often described Draupadi's love for them as motherly, and compared her to Kunti.

Omg, today's episode of PSK was utter cuteness. Radha placed in Krishna's cradle and opening her eyes to him while Balaram rocks the cradle...simply divine.   I also loved the Lakshmi-Narayan parts.

The promo was too heart touching β€οΈ

It showed Bajirao lifting his injured father from horse and running to save him πŸ‘ βοΈ but sadly , he himself got hit on his back by arrows πŸ˜

On the other side , Kashibai sense something wrong and she moves towards the temple panicking [I couldn't remember , what place it was πŸ˜• πŸ˜† ] where the diya was kept.

Karan and Ishita both are looking fabulous in their respective roles.. β€οΈ

Iam eagerly looking forward to Leap πŸ˜ƒ πŸ˜³
