HAPPY SHRI KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI
More than 5000 years ago, a boy with divine aura and even divine intentions was born. Born in the prison to the people who didn't deserve to be imprisoned, the boy began implementing his intentions right from the birth. The shackles broke and the prisons opened, while the slaves to power drowned into slumber. He promised, from the moment of his birth to the universe, that he would break open the shackles of anarchy and adharma and would free the mortals from the miseries which they didn't deserve.
The boy had to reach Gokul, where he would spend the major part of his childhood, and he gave one more life lesson to his father. When there is determination in your mind, nothing would stop you. The seemingly impossible task of carrying a child to the other side of tumultuous river Yamuna on the day of storm was carried out with almost no trouble.
He married 16,100 women who were captured by an evil person to save their honor and yet never did one of them feel the scarcity of love. He was the giver of love to everyone around him yet the profoundest irony lied in the word love for the boy who was another name of love. The girl who had stolen his heart was separated from him, due to a curse and to show that any of the six sins committed wouldn't lead to a happy result.
He dedicated his life in making the lives of people whom he loved easier and the contrary to the people who wrecked havoc in the lives of others. Defeating others would have been a task accomplish-able in sleep for him but he chose to teach the value of peace, the price of silence and the nature of Dharma in a way people wouldn't forget for years to come.
Despite his loving nature and total dedication towards the right cause, he had to bear a curse from a mother. A mother who had lamented for her 100 sons and a son-in-law, perished during the great war of righteousness for their ill deeds, had cursed him and his family to perish in the same way as they did. Anyone else in his place would have fumed in anger but his smile never faltered and he embraced the curse of the mother with open arms, without a hint of anger or disappointment.
The lessons he gave to the mankind became the management guru throughout the world: The Bhagvad Gita and the man himself became the God who was worshiped by children and aged alike. He was not a God because he had the divine energy imbibed in his every cell. He was a God because he became one through his actions.
He is the one who responds with any name which his devotees give. He is the one who listens to anyone in need. He is Leela Dhar, Murali Dhar, Giri Dhar and Manohar.
He is Krishna, the dark one who brought light into the world.
