Part 4
Dhairya is about to head upstairs and make all the arrangements when the doorbell rings. He opens the door is shocked to see Riya. He says "Riya, tum?" He says "What are you doing here." Riya says "I am out of jail now, and I have come back to make your life hell." Dhairya says "Look Riya, I am so sorry I hurt you, but I have moved on." Riya furiously says "Oh, you moved on with Santoshi?" "How nice for you." "Does she know you were also in on the plan to kill her?" Dhairya says "Shhh...Riya be quiet, someone might hear you." Riya sarcastically says "I take it that you left that detail out." Dhairya thinks to take Riya to his room so he can make her understand.
Meanwhile Santoshi thinks she should go talk to Dhairya sir. She thinks to herself "He seemed different when he came to the kitchen, like he wanted to talk to me about something." She thinks to look in his room and heads upstairs. As she approaches Dhairya's room she hears voices. She is about to enter when she sees Dhairya and Riya talking. She then hears Dhairya say "Look Riya, Santoshi does not know that I was also in on the plan to have her killed." Santoshi hearing this is shattered and starts crying. She is in such shock that she stumbles and holds the wall for support. (The song Jag soona soona plays) Santoshi walks to her room like a zombie and replays all those beautiful moments that her and Dhairya had. Then she thinks about all the times he tormented her and she breaks down.
As she sits in her room having no more tears to shed, Santoshi begins to feel suffocated and thinks to herself "I can't stay in this house for one more minute." "I can't stay with
HIM for one more minute." "He wanted me dead?" "He hated me that much?" She wipes her tears and asks Santoshi Maa to give her strength and she begins packing all her things. When she finishes packing, she heads downstairs to see everyone sitting in the living room. Dhairya sees her with her suitcase and thinks "Where is she going?" "She didn't say she was going to her mayka." Dhairya gets up and says "Santoshi, where are you..." Before he can even finish asking her where she is going Santoshi slaps him hard. Dhairya holds his cheek and turns his head to look at her in shock. Everyone else in the Mishra household also looks on in shock. Santoshi says "You have no right to ask me where I am going or what I am doing?" Dhairya stands there confused. Santoshi says "I know you were also part of the plot to kill me." "I heard you and Riya talking." Dhairya's eyes widen in horror as he realizes Santoshi heard everything and he tries to explain. "Look Santoshi I admit I was in on the plot too, but it wasn't my idea." "I just wanted to be with Riya at that time, and I couldn't think straight." Santoshi says "Oh so, you thought to get me killed?" "I knew you didn't consider me your wife, but despite that I always respected you as a husband." "But you, you were selfish and couldn't see beyond your own needs." "You hated me so much, you wanted me dead." Her voice cracks. Dhairya is also crying and says "Please Santoshi, listen to me." Santoshi screams "No you listen to me." "I thought these last few weeks things were changing between us, that you were different." "But I was wrong, I was a fool." Dhairya says "No, you were not wrong, I..." Santoshi cuts him off and says "You have broken my trust Dhairya sir, you have broken my heart and I regret falling in love with a man like you." Dhairya looks on shocked and thinks "She loves me." He stands there numb and everyone in the Mishra family looks shocked. Kaka and Kaki's hearts break for Santoshi, while Madhu and Nupur smile. Pratap goes to Dhairya and grabs him by the collar and gives him one tight slap. Madhu shouts "Pratap!" Pratap says "Enough Madhu." "You have been protecting your ladla beta long enough." "He wanted Santoshi killed." Pointing to Santoshi he says "This bechari has always put up with Dhairya tormenting her and never complained, and I have always stood by and watched him get away with his bad behaviour, but not today." He looks at Dhairya and says "I am ashamed to have a brother like you." "Where did we go so wrong with you?" He looks at Santoshi and says "Santoshi, you should leave from here." "Dhairya does not deserve you or your love." Santoshi goes to Kaka, Kaki, Madhu and Pratap and takes their blessings. She then takes one last look at Dhairya and leaves the house not turning back once. Dhairya falls to the ground, broken, as Kaka, Kaki and Pratap give him disapproving looks and Madhu tries to comfort him. Wanting to be left alone he leaves for his room.
Late at night, Dhairya is siting out on the terrace crying and thinking about how he lost Santoshi. He says "She loved me so much and was so selfless in her love, and I hurt her so much." "It is true, I don't deserve her love." He then thinks to do something he has never done before, and that is pray. He says "Santoshi Maa, I know that I have never believed in you, but Santoshi believes in you." "She always said that when you believe with your heart there is nothing to fear and that god will be with you to support you and guide you." "I always thought it was silly how much faith she had in you, but now I am not so sure." "I am not sure of anything, anymore." "But one thing i am sure of, is that I need Santoshi in my life." "I love her." "She makes me a better man, and I can't live without her." "Please help me Santoshi Maa, please help me get Santoshi back in my life." (Santoshi Maa is listening to Dhairya's prayer and can see his love for Santoshi is honest and pure and that he regrets hurting her)
Meanwhile Santoshi is back at her house and she explains everything to her family. They are shocked and Dadi, Bittoo, and Tinnu are sad for her as they know how much she loved Dhariya. Shesnath, Guddu, Madhuri and Daksha start convincing Santoshi to divorce Dhairya so they can gain money from the Mishra's. Not in the mood to talk about the situation, Santoshi tells her family she is tired and heads to her room. Santoshi in her room is upset and thinks to herself "What do i do now?" Bittoo comes to Santoshi's room and says "Santoshi didi, I know you don't want to hear this, but I think Jiju loves you." Santoshi looks at her shocked and says "If he loved me, he would have never did what he did." Bittoo says "I admit Dhairya has been mean to you in the past, but all those moments you told me about prove to me he loves you." Santoshi says "Look Bittoo, I don't need Dhairya sir in my life, all I need is my family." "As long as I have you guys and Santoshi Maa with me, I will be fine." Bittoo says "Santoshi, you think your family is with you?" Santoshi looks confused. Bitto says "Didi, Guddu and Sheshnath Chachu, knew you were innocent." "That recording I got that proved you were innocent was from Guddu's phone." Santoshi is shocked. Bitto also tells her about how selfish Madhuri and Daksha are, and about their schemes. (I know Daksha is her mother, but for the purposes of my story I am making them all bad, except Taau ji who seems to have disappeared from the show) Santoshi was shocked that her own family could do this. She says "Everyone assumes I am weak, and because of my good nature that they can take advantage of me." She says "Not anymore." "I will show them who they are messing with." Bittoo asks her what she is going to do. Santoshi thinks "The house and property are all Dadi's but nothing has been officially signed, so officially nothing is in her name." "Also Dadi said that Chacha was talking about having the house put in his name." "I have to get Dadi to sign these house and property papers before they kick her out." She goes to Dadi and tells her everything. Dadi feels ashamed, but decides to teach her son and daughter-in-laws a lesson. Santoshi gives her the property papers to sign and Santoshi decides to go file them early in the morning and also get the court to send a notice of eviction.
In the morning the court issues a notice that Sheshnath, Madhuri, Guddu and Daksha are to be kicked out of the house. They are all shocked and Sheshnath says "Who dare throws us out of our house?" Santoshi says "I am dare enough." They all turn around to see Santoshi. Sheshnath smiles menacingly and says "You can't kick us out, this isn't your house anymore." Dadi says "But this is my house, and I want you to leave." Sheshnath and gang all turn to look at Dadi. Sheshnath says "Ma what are you saying?" Dadi says "I have papers that prove I am the legal owner of this house and all this property." She shows them the papers with her signature and the courts approval and they all look shocked. Santoshi says "Chacha I know you and Guddu were blackmailing Dhairya sir so I could stay in jail and you could get money from the Mishra's." Looking at Chachi and Taaiji she says "I also know about your schemes to get money too." They look shocked. Santoshi says "I became an orphan at a young age, but I never felt lonely as I had all of you." "I gave you so much, and you did this to me." "You wanted to cheat my sasural?" "You wanted to see me suffer?" "For what?" "Money?" "You make me sick." "You are not my family, just Dadi, Bittoo, Tinnu and Taau ji." "She puts her hands together and says I wish you all luck, now get out of this house." They all try and gravel but to no avail. They all leave with their heads held low.
