I am glad you enjoyed the second part. Here is part 3. I may post part 4 later today. I am not done the story yet and I have been sick these last few days so I don't want to post everything and then not have anything.
Part 3
The next day the house is buzzing with preparations for the party. Dhairya is in his room pacing, thinking about how he had flirted with Santoshi the other night and all the other incidents that had happened recently. He was frustrated, and thought "Santoshi means nothing to me, she is a servant in this house." "I need to remember this." He then goes to his closet to look at what suit to wear tonight. He thinks to wear his black tuxedo and pulls it out, only to see that it is ruined. He thinks "Santoshi did this." "I knew she was a good for nothing useless servant." Furious he goes downstairs and sees Santoshi helping out with the party preparations. He goes to her and grabs her wrist and jerks her around. He yells at her and says "What did you do to my tuxedo?" "She says, what, what is a tuxedo?" He says "Don't try and be smart with me." "You ruined my suit for tonight." Santoshi replies, "I did not do anything to your suit Dhairya sir." " I have been busy helping with the party preparations." She was confused. Last night Dhairya sir was flirting with her and now he is furious with her. Dhairya holds Santoshi's wrist tightly and says "You are so useless, you can't even do one job right." Santoshi looks at him and is hurt by his words. She begins to wince in pain as he is grabs onto her arm more tightly and she says "Dhairya sir, let go, your hurting me." Dhairya let's go of her hand angrily and Santoshi leaves from there in tears.
Later that afternoon everyone is gathered in the living room when the door bell rings. Madhu thinks "Who is at the door?" "We are not expecting any visitors." Pushpa (She has come back) answers the door and Madhu is shocked as it is her mother. Madhu says "Maa, what are you doing here?"Chandra (That is what Madhu's mother's name is going to be) says "What, I can't I visit my daughter at her house?" Madhu says "Of course you can Maa, I just wasn't expecting you." "Well good thing Pratap called to invite me to this party tonight." Madhu glares at Pratap who feigns innocence, as he knows Madhu and her mother don't necessarily get along. Dhairya comes and touches Chandra's feet and hugs her and says "Hi Naani." (He thinks of her as his Naani) Chandra says "Dhairya beta, how are you?" "I have missed you." "Where is your wife, I want to meet her." Dhairya still upset says "She is probably in the kitchen with the other servants or doing some puja for Santoshi Maa." Santoshi hears him and brushes past him and touches Chandra's feet as she blesses her. Chandra praises Santoshi for how beautiful and sweet she is. They all continue to chat and it seems Chandra really likes Santoshi and accepts her as Dhairya's wife, much to Madhu's dismay.
The party is about to start in a few hours so everyone goes to get ready. Both Santoshi and Dhairya are heading up the stairs and are about to go to their separate rooms to get ready when Chandra says "Why are you going to different rooms?" Madhu is tensed and says "I told Santoshi to come to my room so I can give her some jewelry for tonight, but she will get ready in Dhairya's room." Dhairya looks at Maabhi who motions for him to go with the flow. Madhu says "Santoshi I will bring the jewelry to you, you and Dhairya go and get ready." Dhairya looks at Santoshi angrily and walks towards his room with her following behind. Santoshi is getting ready in Dhairya's bedroom while he is in the bathroom getting ready. Madhu had given her a designer sari to wear. It was a baby pink and white sari with a white sleeveless blouse that had a really deep back. She didn't feel all that comfortable as it showed off her body, but didn't know how to say no to Madhu Madam. She also decided to curl her hair loosely and do her makeup glamorously, but wore simple jewelry.
She was attempting to tie her dori but was having trouble when Dhairya walked out of the bathroom. He stopped in his tracks when he saw Santoshi. He could not believe that it was her. Ke kept staring at her and couldn't help but notice how her hair was swept to the side exposing her back and her tiny waist. Dhairya couldn't stop looking at her. Santoshi felt his presence, and turned around. Dhairya was jerked back to reality and remembered he was mad at Santoshi. Santoshi looked at Dhairya. He was looking very handsome and sharp in a black suit and his hair perfectly styled. She couldn't help but stare at him. She then realized that she still hadn't been able to tie her dori, but didn't want to ask Dhairya as she knew he was mad at her. Then Chandra comes to the door to give Santoshi a gift and notices that her dori is not tied. She says "Santoshi beta, you forgot to tie your dori." Santoshi says "Naani, I was having trouble that is why." Chandra laughs slightly and says "So then ask Dhairya." "After all he is your pati." Santoshi looks over at Dhairya who is frowning at her and without saying a word comes over to her and moves her hair to the side a bit and begins tying her dori. As he is tying it, his finger lingers a bit on her back and Santoshi shivers at his touch. Dhairya too feels a spark, but just continues tying the dori. Once he is finished Santoshi turns around and says "Shukriya." Dhairya just looks at her and doesn't say anything and heads downstairs. Santoshi follows behind him quietly.
The party is in full swing and Dhairya can't keep his eyes off Santoshi. Santoshi feels Dhairya's eyes on her and can't help but smile. Santoshi is talking to guests at the party when she decides to get something to drink and bumps into Sanket. He catches her before she falls and she closes her eyes thinking she is going to fall. When she opens her eyes she sees Sanket looking at her intensely with his hand on the small of her back. He helps her up and a smiles at her and Santoshi smiles back. She was surprised to see him, but knew he still worked for Pratap sir's company, but in Dubai. Meanwhile Dhairya witnesses the moment between Sanket and Santoshi and is visibly upset. Particularly seeing Sanket's hand on Santoshi's back. Santoshi then asks Sanket how he is and he says "After you married Dhairya I was broken, but I have moved on and I am now engaged." She congratulates him and says she is happy for him and that he deserves happiness. Sanket then asks Santoshi "How is married life with Dhairya?" She gets quiet, and says "It's good." Sanket senses that things aren't fine, but drops it. He changes the topic and they start talking like old friends like before. Meanwhile Dhairya sees them smiling and laughing and starts to get angry. He goes to the bar and gets a drink and thinks to himself "Who does she think she is, talking and laughing with Sanket like that?" "Why doesn't she laugh like that with me." Dhairya's alter ego says "Because your an ass and you only make Santoshi cry and torment her." "You don't deserve her love." He continues to drink more. Later on in the party they put on music for guests to start dancing. Santoshi would like to dance, but thinks "Will Dhairya sir dance with me?" Sanket comes over and says "Santoshi, do you want to dance?" Santoshi says "I don't think that is a good idea." Sanket says "Oh come on as friends." Santoshi reluctantly agrees. Her and Sanket start dancing and a drunk Dhairya sees them and is seething. He comes over and pushes Sanket away and says "She is my wife, only I am allowed to dance with her." He takes Santoshi to the dance floor and pulls her close. Santoshi realizes that Dhairya is drunk, and instead of making a scene just dances with him. They dance to the song "Sapna Jahan" (Just a note, I don't really understand Hindi songs well, and this is just a song that I saw a couple dance to on a show) They romantically dance and all eyes are on them. They dance as though they are the only two in the room and no one else exists. When the song ends, Dhairya comes out of his trance and lets go of Santoshi and leaves her on the dance floor alone and confused. Sanket observes all of this and thinks "I think Dhairya was jealous of me and Santoshi." "Maybe he is in the love with her"
A little while later the party is over, and Santoshi sees Dhairya drinking at the bar. She thinks "What is going on with Dhairya sir, he is acting so strange." She goes over to him and thinks to help him upstairs as he is completely drunk. She says "Dhairya sir, come let me help you upstairs." He says very drunkely "Get away from me." "Why don't you go to your precious Sanket." She ignores his comments and tries to grab his hand and he jerks her away. He says "I can get upstairs myself." \ He tries to get up but stumbles, and Santoshi catches him. She then helps him upstairs and takes him to his room. As she helps him take off his shirt he pulls her close towards him, with one arm tightly wrapped around her bare waist and the other hand caressing her cheek. Santoshi quivers at his touch and closes her eyes. Dhairya leans in near her ear and says "You are my wife, no one is allowed to dance with you or touch you but me." Santoshi looks at him and thinks "Was he jealous of Sanket and me?" Before she can wonder any longer she realizes Dhairya is going to pass out so she puts him in bed and is about to leave but he won't let go of her hand. She tries again but he has got a firm grip on her hand. She then decides to lay next to him until he falls asleep, but she ends up falling asleep herself.
The next morning, Dhairya turns over in bed to see Santoshi sleeping next to him with his hand under her head. He looks at her sleeping next to him and recalls the incidents from last night with Santoshi and Sanket, and him and Santoshi. He closes his eyes in frustration and tries to remove his hand without waking her. Santoshi stirs a bit and then wakes up to see Dhairya staring at her. She realizes his hand is stuck under her head and she gets up so he can remove it. She asks him how he is, and even though he has a really bad hangover he pretends he is fine. She notices this, and says she will get him something for his headache. Before he can argue she leaves.
Everyone is at the breakfast table and Santoshi is serving everyone. Dhairya is staring at Santoshi and barking orders at her. She heads back to the kitchen and Pushpa asks her "What is wrong with Dhairya sir?" Santoshi says "He thinks I ruined his, what is it called, tuxedo that he wanted to wear to the party." Pushpa's eyes widened. She thinks "I ruined Dhairya sir's suit." "I can't let Santoshi take the blame, especially after she went to jail because of my accusations." Pushpa decides to talk to Dhairya after breakfast. Pushpa goes upstairs to Dhairya's room and sees the door opened slightly and that he is not in a good mood. She is scared, put knocks on the door. He says "Go away." Pushpa says "Dhairya sir, it is me Pushpa." "I need to tell you something sir." He nods for her to go ahead. She says "Sir, the tuxedo you wanted to wear to the party, it was me, I ruined it." Dhairya looks shocked and says "You, ruined it? Not Santoshi?" She says "Yes." "Please don't be mad it was an accident." "I found out you got mad at Santoshi, and I couldn't let her take the blame." Dhairya says "It is okay." He thinks to himself "Santoshi was telling the truth, she did not ruin my tuxedo." "I just blamed her like I always do." He thinks to apologize to her, so he goes downstairs to find her.
He decides to look for her in the kitchen and when he goes there he sees Santoshi on a stool trying to reach something on the top shelf. He notices the stool is wobbly and she is about to slip and he yells "Santoshi!" Dhairya catches Santoshi just in time, while Santoshi thinks "How come I did not fall." She realizes Dhairya sir caught her and sees that her hands are tightly around his neck and her face is buried in the crook of his neck. She pulls her face away to look at him and they share an intense eye lock. Kaka comes into the kitchen and sees the two of them and thinks to not interrupt their romantic moment but Santoshi sees him and breaks her gaze from Dhairya. Dhairya puts Santoshi down and she looks at Dhairya and then Kaka and excuses herself. Dhairya thinks, Santoshi is probably giving me the cold shoulder as I have been lashing out at her so much. Dhairya thinks to talk to Kaka. "Papa." Kaka says "Yes beta." "Papa, can I talk to you about Santoshi?" Kaka says "Of course beta." Dhairya says "Papa I know Santoshi talks to you." "I am not sure what she thinks about me, I don't even know what I think about her." "But something is different between us." "Ever since I got paralyzed, I see her differently." "In fact, even before that I began feeling differently towards her." "Did you know she bought me a birthday gift?" "Riya didn't even remember my birthday." "Santoshi has always taken care of me, even when I have tormented her." "Not just me, but you and ma and everyone in the family." "I regret being so mean to her." "She is so selfless, sweet, caring and beautiful." Kaka is in disbelief at how hard his son has fallen for Santoshi and smiles. Dhairya continues "Papa, what does this mean?" Kaka smiles and says "Dhairya beta, I think you might be in love with Santoshi." Dhairya looks at Kaka and thinks back to all his moments with Santoshi, how he couldn't see her crying or hurt, his jealousy, his attraction to her, how she is always there for him. He says "Papa I think your right." Dhairya smiles and thinks I should do something special for Santoshi tonight and tell her I love her.
