2 days passed and they had come back from the trip. Arnav had busied himself into office and Khushi ignored him completely so he ignored her too.
"Mummy-Papa, why don't you both talk to each other?" Tara asked as they sat infront of tv after breakfast while she watched cartoons.
"Because your papa is very egoistic. I don't want to talk to such a man who just likes to hurt me again and again and then comes his so-called apologies that he doesn't even mean." Khushi said as she chewed on a piece of orange.
"What is eeegiiosticks?" Tara asked confusedly while Arnav chuckled and took her into his lap, kissing her all over her face.
Khushi sighed. "Egoistic. E-go-is-tic."
"Just shut up, Khushi." Arnav barked at her rudely..he thought that she was being ridiculous..she was calling his apology 'so-called' as if she now thinks his apologies are lies. He thought arrogantly but then he looked at her and he found her eyes filling up with tears.
Arnav's body tensed and he saw her getting up.
"Khushi, Khushi don't cry. Goddammit." he groaned as she got up and left the hall.
"Papa...you make mummy cry. You are not good." Tara shook her head and got up from his lap.
"OH GREAT. Now you are upset at me too?" Arnav held Tara's tiny arm as she struggled and made whiny sounds to make him leave her and Arnav laughed before getting up and hugging Tara..

Khushi was napping when suddenly the door opened and Arnav stepped inside. The fragrance of sunflowers and cashew chocolate filled her nostrils making her look at him to find him holding baskets full of those things.
They both were quiet, he kept down the things on the table beside her while she turned away from those things.
Arnav rolled his eyes. "What the! Tum unhey dekhogi bhi nahi? I bought it for you..I..I'm sorry. For everything."
"You can't buy my apology, Mr Raizada." Khushi snapped, looking at him while he looked at her shockingly.
"What the f*ck do you mean?" he hissed.
"Arnav Singh Raizada has the habit of buying everything. He thinks he can buy anything with money. He thinks if a woman asked him if he loves her, it's because she wants his money. Money, money, money. You think money is everything." Khushi simpered sarcastically.
"I..I know you don't want money, Khushi." Arnav mumbled. "I know you are not like Aliya. I said all that in anger at that time."
"I don't care what you meant, I now don't care about anything you say at all. You are nothing. You are nothing to me. Aapko jo karna hai, jo kehna hai, aap kahiye. Mujhe koi farak nahi parhta." Khushi fumed, she knew that all this was a lie but she just wanted to show him that she is not someone who he can hurt and then pacify with his flowers and apologies. She had to show him that he doesn't matter cos she knew that she doesn't matter for him also cos he keeps hurting her.
Arnav gaped at her words...what? He doesn't matter to Khushi?! That is impossible. She has always given him so much importance.
He suddenly felt so restless. The thought of Khushi not caring for him was too much. He didn't know why it affected him so badly.
Khushi tried to leave the room before Arnav held her elbow and pulled her back. He pinned her against the wall and stared at her quivering lips as she tried to go away from him.
"Oh really? Tumhe koi farak nahi parhta?" he leaned in as his lips brushed against hers, making her moan.
"Arnav..let me go..kitne battameez ho!" Khushi's cheeks turned red while he chuckled. He pulled down her salwaar and licked, kissed, bit on the soft flesh of her cleavage making her arch her back.
"What about now? Ab bhi farak nahi parhta?" Arnav asked as he kissed her all over her chest, unhooking her bra as it dropped on the floor.
She looked at him with a lump in her throat as he tightly clutched the back of her hips before they fell on the bed as they passionately explored each other, their bodies finally becoming one for the first time after their divorce...
