Friday Oct 2nd she got a strange call around 8 ish PM, R&B was flying out to Geneva so she didnt talk with him the last couple days, just exchanged text messages
before and after he landed in Geneva.
She was sitting on the round floor patio swing and nibbling on dinner, not feeling very good overall.
Amma had asked her to do various things to relax, including coaxing her to take the afternoon off
She instead worked until 7 and returned home.

She wasnt going to apply for the role in her team, she didnt look at Treasury either

She had a meeting with HR on Monday to understand when she could fill Bhavna's req and also understand how much time she had and how long she could be legally gone with pay and without pay

She had a Doctor's apptt on Saturday, she had moved it to Sat, from the Fri she originally had


She didnt notice the phone vibrate, she answered it on 4th ring, she didnt even know the number

"Heloo beta" it was a woman


"Hi!" she let her mind race trying to place the woman

It was strangely familiar

"How is Raman?" she said

II was startled NOBODY called him that

"Umm... hes fine, he is in Geneva this week" she said hesitantly

"Ofcourse betaji, he is a busy man, he is never in Delhi no? My sons hate to go out of India" she said smugly

"I think she does I think" II began

"Aur TUM IYER... ghar aao betaji..."Chachi said bluntly

"Chachi I am planning to do something at home" II began

"achhha?" chachi cackled cynically

"Chachi I am planning to do it exactly when Mom did it" II gushed

"Huh" Chachi grunted

SHE HUNG UP ON II BEFORE II COULD INVITE HER


She was hurt and antsy, she called R&B

"Busy aa irukeya?" she asked

"Nope" he said

"Ummm"

"What?" he asked

"I am thinking of doing kanjak at home" she said

"U told me... thats great" he smiled

"Umm... chachi called me" II was agitated

"About?" he asked unsure where she was going with it

"She said I should go to Vasant Vihar" II said nervously

"Weekend?" he asked

"Nahi kanjak" II said

"So?" he asked slightly irritated

"I told her I am hosting an event" II blurted

"So?" he asked again... "II whats going on?"

"I think I told her I cant go to Vasant Vihar" II said finally

"So?" he still waited for a big explosion or news break

"I told her I wont go to her house and want to have something in my house, I think I insulted or offended her or both... dont know which, do you get my point now?" she shrieked

"Calm down" he hissed

"She called me and I said I am hosting an event" II was troubled

"If it bothers you so much then GO" he said coldly

"BAS?" II asked agonized

"What did u want ME to say? Its fantastic you told her what u did?" he was visibly irritated

"I should just cancel my event? I am inviting 25 lil girls" she was almost in tears

"I did not say that" "Its your choice you should do what you want to" he said coolly

"If I cancel ghar ka event Dad will be hurt if I dont go to Chachu's he will still be hurt" she was tearful

"He will get over it" R&B shrugged

"Tumhe bilqul bura nahi lagta agar woh dukhi hotey hain to?" she asked horrified

There was a long silence

I think this update was a strong reminder to us and II both

It's like some task...everyone trying to make the number of girls the required and borrowing kids from here and there and trying to coax an enemy to join the team 😆

R&B, mentally is probably close to where he was almost 5 years ago as far as Ranjan is concerned

It just SEEMS to II that they may  have the ability to move beyond the scandal.
1. On a deeply personal level
2. in II's absence
3. when he is by himself
he probably only cares as much about Ranjan as much as he cares about Chachi

And thats quite horrific

Let's see what II decides

exactly...And its quite a heartbreaking realisation for II who doesn't know the future like we do.

She is an intelligent girl, subconsciously she KNOWS R&B doesnt harbor too many gushy feelings for Ranjan, her question was more rhetorical when she asked "Why dont u feel any hurt or pain"

By being silent he actually acknowledged he doesnt
And it hurt her more

But whatever he Sam and Manya have been through II has NOT

Her sympathy is partially tainted

Really nice update.
Ii wants to keep everyone happy all the time.
No exceptions.
R&b least bothered.
Ii will have figure out all one her own. Maybe if she opens up to ranjan he might help.
Nisha it's been long haven't seen Ii ranjan convo as well.
It's stupid to ask so soon but when will r& b be back.
Another very important think. When will they do savy's shradh Pooja. Since its sharadh period in story.
