Kabir - Tarini - Ananya

Kabir & Tarini, they are one of the best part of the show, sometimes even better than the leads. Tarini, her presence in the show is limited, she doesn't do filler scenes, and probably that makes us want more of her.

Leaving aside the screen space, what Ied find beautiful in this friendship is the equality.. Obviously they have a shared past which is kind of ugly, and that scarred both. Kabir is protective of her, he didn't want Shreya to bring Tarini in to the picture even while they were alone, but he isn't overtly protective unlike with Ananya, Is this because he doesn't have any romantic feelings towards Tarini or is it because he considers Tarini to be more level headed and resilient? I think it is a combination of both. He had witnessed Tarini going through life altering situations for (most probably) no fault of her own, and in the process losing out on finer things of life, such as her chosen career & innocence (and may be much more). Now he doesn't want Ananya to lose out the same things, that makes him doubly protective of Ananya.

Protecting Tarini probably was never his responsibility, friends are there to be supportive and not to protect, but protecting Ananya, he considers his responsibility because of his tender feelings for her, and he wants to cherish Ananya as she is now, with her youthful exuberance and daredevil attitude. There is a hint of selfishness here, because he enjoys Ananya's innocence so much (how much-ever it exasperates him at times) he never want her to be robbed of it.

Ok, now I am deviating from my topic, ;). Coming back to Kabir - Tarini equation, I think shared misery always brings people closer, it is easy to share with people who had seen you at your worse state. If my guess is right, Tarini had not only seen him at his worst, but also played a part in getting him back in control. That's one reason Kabir have no qualms in opening up with her. When the very first time she told him that he has developed feelings for Ananya, Kabir didn't even tried to deny her, and also the fact how much Ananya's perceived low opinion of him hurt him. We don't know whether even Ananya knows the extent of pain & hurt Kabir went though seeing her in Ronnie's arms and later when he heard her badmouthing him, but Tarini knows all that, kabir never try to hide anything from her. And the trend continues. Probably the other person who suffered as much in the hands of Shreya as Kabir was Tarini, but does Kabir try to protect her feelings by not mentioning about Shreya's return? No... He knows it is fruitless to hide something of this nature from Tarini, and he trusts her enough to take it in her stride.. I loved the way Tarini responded when Kabir said Tsunami entered his life, such a cool attitude, she replies 'why are you being so melodramatic'. Only friends with lot of rapport & trust can be so cool with each other. And when she said there had been so many issues in his life, but he never talked in such way before (melodramatic), I wanted to reply her, 'Yup, it is Ananya effect, Ananya'a characteristics are rubbing on Kabir and that's why he is becoming melodramatic ;)

Inspite of whatever equation she had with Shreya, Tarini's immediate concern was for Ananya, though she never met Ananya in person, but Ananya and her mental welfare is important to Tarini because of what Ananya meant to Kabir, I did feel irritated with Tarini's repetitive blaming of Kabir for Ananya's tantrums and she asking him to pacify her, ok, not that Kabir is not at fault this time, and does need to apologise, but the priority (for Ananya)should have been Kabir's unprecedented erratic behaviour and the root cause of it. But could Tarini point it out and make situation worse between KaYa? No, as a good friend, it is her responsibility to make things better not worse, and that's exactly what she did by asking Kabir to apologise. She wants happiness return in his friend's life, she could see laughter in him only after Ananya's entry in his life, and she wants to help him preserve it. Isn't she a wonderful friend!!!!

Kabir - Ananya.. I kind of made peace with Ananya after her nice gesture in the yesterday's episode, seems like Kabir's attempts to apologise (though he couldn't apologise, it was obvious why he called her to his cabin, his body language shrieked of surrender when he started talking) did cool her down and made her think of his wellbeing.

What irritated me with most in her behaviour of Wednesday epaidoe was her inability to prioritise, and her expectation that her boyfriend can only pamper her and not vent out.. I agree, Kanir was wrong to talk the way he did, but the biggest issue is his loss of equilibrium, Ananya's priority should have been about how shaken up and out of control Kabir was. That's how relationships work, by putting your partner ahead of you and being there for him/ her at their time of need. Her talk with Ronnie was a shocker to me.. Made me wonder whether girls are really this shallow.. Her rebuke that it is not my mistake that his ex wife returned,, I was like what I am hearing here.. Did she said what I think she said.. Aren't they in a relationship? Doesn't it matter to her how much he is affected? Would she talk like this if it is her father or brother who had vented out their frustration on her? Wouldn't she feel concern more than sulking? Why is that the equations differ in a romantic relationship? Why is that woman always want to be at the receiving side of pamper? Her venting out in yesterday's episode was good, because she spoke her mind. In my experience with men (family, friends), 95% of the men can't recollect what wrong they have done, unless you point it out, they won't even realise that they had something wrong. But once pointed out, they will take initiative to correct it and apologise for it, Men actually are less egotistic when it comes to making amends.

Kabir fell in Shreya's trap and goofed up yesterday.. He should not have encouraged Richa's promotion, because even that was unprofessional, to discuss promotion and job change in the presence of the employee, but Kabir in his attempt to being a magnanimous boss, failed to detect the trap. His reluctance when it came to Ananya must have lot of valid reasons, we don't know Shreya the way he knows, if he doubts her motives, I would doubt her too,. But by being expressive about his apprehensions, he made Ananya feel hurt and upset,

It must have been one hell of pain for Ananya,, to think that her boss, her idol and her beloved BF is not having belief on her abilities. I did like her rant a lot, because it was her honest feelings, and not the sarcasm she had displayed on Wednesday. And Kabir couldn't believe that she can think of him not valuing her as a reporter, he was rendered speechless because of this shock. He didn't certainly say that her promotion is due to her being his GF, what he was attempting to say was that she has been targetied for being his GF. Poor him, for once the words failed him. I don't blame Ananya entirely for not having the patience to listen to him, we don't always act sensible when guided by strong emotions such as hurt.

Ananya declining the promotion, I think she did it prove a point to Kabir and may be Richa too, but I think it is a blessing in disguise, I had a feeling Shreya didn't forsee this development, she looked genuinely surprised, probably this move by Ananya would work in KaYa's favour because I think Ananya's promotion was equivalent to garlanding the bakra before slaughtering...

Kabir is guilt ridden, that will prompt him to clear things with Anaya, let's get ready to witness a heavy duty scene between the couple tonight or on Monday ;).

The way you described Kabir and Tarini is so beautiful. I love these two and their friendship...hope we get some more nice scenes in the upcoming weeks.

I think Kabir is very secure about his relationship with Tarini. She stood by his side even though their relationship definitely took a toll on her life.He treats her as an equal. Also because he isn't in love with her, his failed love relationship with Shreya doesn't make him scared of losing her.

Kabir is not secure about his relationship with Ananya. He constantly feels the need to pamper her and win her over. He also has this manic desire to protect her innocence and her happiness which he probably failed to do in Tarini's case. These things are hampering his relationship with Ananya.

And yes Anu unknowingly stumped Shreya...now she will have to rethink her plans

Coming to the feelers sent out by the writer, I think Kaya would resolve the MU soon and start working in tandem, but this won't certainly go well with Shreya, she had tried to alienate Ananya from Kabir, which doesn't work. Now, she will use her next weapon, the photo taken during date, she will invoke 6A and send Ananya out of KKN in shame. Kabir could do nothing as he doesn't have the weapon of threantening to quit because of his new contract,. Ananya's professional reputation would be in tatters

It will break down Kabir completely, because Ananya is more important than himself and also because it could have been the same thing that happened to Tarini and how she lost her reporting career. Two women paying for being close to him, it would destroy him.. As he said to Annaya's mom, if can't keep up his promise of not letting his past affect Ananya's happiness, he will be broken, the worlds will come true.

We would see a broken Kabir restorting to self destruction, probably starting to drink.. They need to somewhere bring his alcoholsm.. Then the story would be about how Ananya and Tarini together bring him back to normal and gives him the strength to fight back Shreya..

Kabir - Manav is actually a possibility!! Khalid is a chameleon..
