Me and my elder brother was just sitting and discussing some Disney movies, and what difference it's in them now and before. Like how the boy and girl meets two three times and then get married.
The only of the classic which doesn't happen is beauty and the beast. That's the only which where the leads gets know each other before they fall in love. And how it's more relatable for the audience.
An other which he pointed out was that the villain in the movie actually more the prince looking and the hero of the movie looked more like the villain. And how true it is many times that how a person looks from the outside he maybe is not the same inside.
When he was talking I realised that IPPKND is not any Jane Austen book but actually is beauty and the beast.
We have Belle (Khushi) who is a girl full of life and dreams about her Prince Charming, where she meets the beast (Arnav) and creats trouble for her. The person who comes as her saviour is non other than Gaston (Shyam) who saves her.
Khushi thinks Arnav is the villain in her life and Shyam is her Prince Charming who is the one who always helps her and saves her. But as Gaston, Shyam just looks like a Prince Charming but is not. And the beast who looks scary and the "bad" person as Arnav is actually the Prince Charming which, Belle aka Khushi was looking for.
Circumstances creats situation where Khushi and Arnav hate each other but can't keep away from some other reason. Just like the beast and Belle
As the beast and Belle, Arnav and Khushi love their family's to death and is ready to do anything for them. Which brings them just closer to each other.
In the end Gaston dies, Belle and the beast gets together.
So who ever says that IPKKND is a Jane Auston novel needs to look closer in to the show and watch Beauty and the beast again!!'😊
PS: I am no where comparing these two but just pointing out the similarities.
