prologue
I stared at the sky watching it turning into black. Everything is turning blurred before her ryes. She blinks her eyes a couple of times to get her vision clear. No this was not expected! This couldnt be the end of their chapter. The life has to give them more. She couldn't do that. Not to him atleast!
She hears his voice, he was in pain. So Much of pain but could she do it to him? She shuts her eyes as she hears him say again.
"No no zoya! You cant. You cant!!!! You have to do this zoya! Please dont do this to me. You cant cheat me zoya. Pull it! Damnit!"
My heart acclerated with such a fierce that my mind slipped his contact with every organ of my body.
I failed to do it in first time, could i be able to do it now?
With a very unstable hand i tried to hold the cold metal between my hand and instantly i saw a smile appearing on his face. He had tears in his eyes but yet he looked so relief for the moment. I tried to gasp as the unbearable pain coming from my stomach made me feel vulnerable.
I tried to gain my focus on the tiny trigger below my thumb. Was i ready to do it? Was ot so easy?
How can i do this to someone i have loved? How?
Asad saw the flickering of my eyes and instantly he shouted all the promises i made to him. "Zoya you can't leave me alone here. You have to do this. I want be in your arms zoya when i shut my eyes. I want you to do this to me. Just pull the damn trigger!!"
I inhaled sharply clutching my hands together. My hands were wavering and i could not aim him. He smiled again and walked closure to me. Keeping the metal nose right on his chest he said with his glistering eyes."i am ready."
My mind was not clear anymore all i could feel is my body getting numb. How did we landed in this situation was all i could ask. And letting few tears fall i looked up to meet his orbs, "i love you." I said gasping for air.
"I know." He smiled touching my face for the last time.
With that i pulled the trigger shooting the gun right through his body. I heard a moan from asad as he stumbled back two feet. A rush of blood spreaded across my face and his shirt.
I felt my hands shaking and my legs felt wobble. I looked at him for the final time before i drop my self on floor.
"I love you zoya. I always have" he desperately said as i felt him near me..."and i always will."
