CHAPTER 5

*on asad- on floor*
*on asad-on floor*
Zoya's eyes kept on flickering between asad and floor as she silently picked up all her scattered belongings. She cleaned the house and went back to kitchen to cook something. Asad kept himself silent all the while. He was hurt , he felt vulnerable after his mother topic came to pitcher. He chose to go through all the chapters of his with his mother. Zoya knew what was he going through and trust me she wanted nothing but to hold asad at this moment. But she couldn't, simply because he didnt gave her the right.
Zoya finished up with cooking and set the table with two plates and a bowl of sauces and rice. She sighed heavily when she turned and saw asad in the same position as he was an hour ago.
She felt her heart being scratch and the pole attraction to soothe her asad increased by multiplication. She walked to him and sat beside.
"Asad." She called his name and asad tore himself from the reverie of pain and looked at her.
"Food is ready." She smiled and stood up. Outstretching her hands to hold him.
Asad nods and gets up on its own with the support of his palm on bed. Zoya clutched her palm tight and smiled with tear.
She followed silently behind asad and helped him to sit on chair.
"Asad. " she asked with the bowl of rice.and served him the rice on the plate. Asad took how much he want and stopped her from pouring more.
She served him the sauce and sat beside. Helping herself with food. The dinner went in utter silence. Soon later that night zoya changed into her lingerie and prepared the bed for them. Asad looked in no mood to initiate anything. So she quietly set up the bed and went to refill the jar with water.
When she returned asad was already laying on his side of bed. She sighed and went to keep the jar on night table and occupied her place next to his. She got inside the cover ,her hand searching for the light switch. She found it and shuts it.
"Keep the lights on." She hears asad's voice in almost a whisper.
With a confusion she searches for the switch and turns in on. The light brightens up the room. She turns to look at asad who is laying on bed on his back with his hand on his face covering his eyes.
She stares his face with him knowing it. And then some memories of the past triggers.
He was the same when she saw him first. She clearly remembers how scared she was when she was broken to accept to be in prostitution. it was the day when she was almost drug and forced to lie on bed waiting for her body to be used. It was not the first attempt of any man trying to steal her virtue but she had fought and made them ran away. So the pimp made her semi unconcious before setting up the room for the first customer. The door locked open and she could hear some voices behind. Who ever was this man she knew was staring her. She wanted to make a run but all the bruises that the pimp gave her made her feel pathetic and she had no energy to stand against anyone because of starving from past few days. Her pimp promised her to feed of she let this customer enjoy her. Dieng was not an option for her she wanted to go back to her family. And her half alert mind and tired body didn't help her to see what was she landing herself into for a morse of food.
The man who ever was standing there walked in and sat beside the bed. His eyes tracing her facing. She looked pale. Her bones almost poking out of skin. Her chapped lips said a lot about her health. She was drown in makeup from head to toe may be to attract customer to spent the night. But it couldn't convince that man to do anything or take any advance move. Instead he was silent. He sat for what says the whole night simply staring at some point on her face.
And getting blurred seconds by seconds zoya completely fell daze and soon she let herself go. But the man continued to stare her like some creep while he heard her taking soft snoars.
The morning soon hit the sky and birds came to her window to wake her up. Zoya yawns and rolls on her back. She is still in the effect of her sleep until she spots a shirt of a man lying on bed. She scans the room and spots the man standing at the door. He is talking to someone.
"Thank you sahab." She heard the pimp voice. Her eyes widens at the realisation at what had happened last night.
She clearly saw the man turning with the bundle of notes after he tipped the pimp. He kept the money in his pocket. Instantly his eyes met hers and she quickly withdraw her eyes and stared at floor.
Asad walked in back to her. Without a word he picked up his shirt and worn it. Like time had flied by, he went out from the room.
There was so many things she wanted to ask but she remained quiet all the while. Zoya got up uncoordinated her head still spins under the effect of the drugs. Soon the pimp came to her with his wolfish grin. He gave her food happily. "You are very lucky to me. Your first customer gave me whole night fare and more. What have you done to make him pay so more?" He asked some thing which she herself couldn't understand. Zoya ate her food in silence with lots of question in her mind.
Later after that evening she found the same man buying her time before anyone and spends the complete night just staying in the room. He never touched her just remained there silently watching her. Initially zoya got scared of his presence in the room but then seeing he never crossed the line she slept peacefully. She was getting used to him when one day he didnt showed up. That day someother man entered her room. She was sold to some lust possessed old man. Zoya knew by the time her innocence which remained to be intact till date was going to steal. Her pimp remained in the illusion that zoyas body is getting sold evey day by that man little did he know inside the room he kept her safe.
The man kept advancing towards her. After putting a little fight she got herself trapped between the man and the bed. He was scratching her and she kept praying to Allah to help her , to save her. When her all hopes turned grey and she had with no light to hold. Zoya shuts her eyes and turned her face waiting for the pain to start and get over.
As soon as she shuts her eyes and tear falls in bed sheet she hears a loud thumping of foots on wooden floor. Zoya and the old man looked in the direction of door which flew open breaking the latch. There stood the man intensely watching them as if he will attack and cut them in two. Behind him she saw the pimp who kept on requesting him to stop and was giving him an offer for other girl tillshe get free from already attending customer.
The man flicked his eyes in zoya and with a glance of two minutes he read something in her eyes. He turned to the pimp and offered him the huge sum which he couldn't say a no. And then he walked in holding the man from zoya and throwing it out of door.
Asad then got the chair on the door locking it.
He was angry it was visible every nerves in his body stood up from his biceps and triceps. His body was sweaty and he looked like he had ran through miles before reaching her. He locked his eyes intensely on her and took a place next to her. Zoya collected herself from bed and sat at the farthest on end. This is how few more nights passed by in their room.
Very slowly as days passed by she got to know his name. It happened this way that once he was wearing his shirt when accidentally his wallet fell down on floor. Zoya picked up for him and in process she caught her name from his driving license.
it was not like every day was same for zoya, occasionally something or the other happened and she explored asad's side.
One day it happened so that asad came in her room restless he was very upset with something which she didnt cared to ask. He came in her room and like usual sat beside her. Zoya had became use to of everything so she layed on bed and tried to sleep. But asad was in no mood to rest he kept walking in the room disturbing her sleep. In the middle of night she got up, "why dont you sleep?" She asked him innocently.
Asad eyed at zoya and chuckles, "i am not feeling sleepy." He muttered hnder breathe.
"May be you should go home." She suggested without realizing her meter was on and if he left now the pimp will get the new man.One determined look from asad made zoya bite her tongue. She Waited for several minutes more before finally speaking,
"Can i help you?" She asked. asad had amusement in his face.
"You will help!" He smirked with a tease.
Zoya got out of cover and looked at asad. "You look upset. Please share with me it will lessen your burden." She insist.
"I want sleep."His eyes were wet.
"Make you sleep?"She says in a perplexed tone.
"How can you?" He asks. And then she realized she haven't seen him really sleeping from when she knows him.
Zoya smiles and get him on bed. She sits beside him and brings her hand on his forehead patting it while she let her hair flow on his face. It soothe him for some while but didn't let him sleep.
"What is bothering you?" She dared to ask.
"Nothing that will matter you." He spat and got up from bed wearing his shirt. He is about to leave.
"Wait." She screamed and ran to stop him.
"If you leave they will get other man."she pleaded
"I think you cant help me anymore. I need someone who can forget my pain. I want to divert my mind. With you its not helping me." He said and opened the door.
"What to you want me to do?" She asked in panick.
"Have sex with me." He blutly kept his proposal.
"If you make me sleep i will make you free. I promise." He said and honesty was clear in his eyes.
Zoya bites her lips as tears form in her eyes. She knew if he left any other who would step in is going to steal her virtue without her consent. In a way she Hates him now. But if could help her she would be saved.
She thought and thought for minutes before eyeing up to his level. "Okay. I will help you"
That day he slept peaceful. And after that day it became his usual habit to have sex with her to gain sleep. He felt some strange emotion which he had never experienced with any girl he has bedded so far. He felt full. Soon in one or a week two, asad made zoya free from the prison and got her his old home.
She tries to convince him from letting her go but no matter where she moved he always got her and had her each night.
Giving in to the feelings she started to develop , zoya moved in with him in his house. She wanted to work for her family and he gave her a job at his office. It was simple for asad she was paying fot his debt she owed.
But for zoya it was more than only returning favour.

The morning rays patted her face lightly and she woke up on bed absorbing the warm radiant the sky was giving her. She turned to look at her side and found him sleeping. How she reach on bed she cannot register but she was sure asad had a major hand in this.
It hardly cause any difference when asad started to blink his eyes and he woke up. He remained silent on bed for a while. Zoya seeing him up got up to make breakfast. Asad walked up to bathroom and refreshed himself. He then wore his same night shirt and got ready to leave.
Zoya took out the scramble egg on plate when she heard the door noise. She ran to see him but he was gone. Making her way sadly to thr room her eyes fell on the bundle of notes he had kept on table. She checked up to it while her phone rang.its his message.
"Go for shopping and buy what you want." He said reffering to the loss she had last night by trio.
Zoya tossed the money on bed and sighed heavily bringing her hand on her face... the Ring from her phone disturbs her. She checks on her phone . this time its a call from her abu.
"Salaam abu." She picked up and said.
"Salaam beta. How are you ?" Her abu asked her and she could just smile on his question.
After waiting for few seconds when he didn't get the answer he continued.
"Beta i want to invite you for lunch. Dont ear it today from anywhere else. We will go out together." Her father proposed her
Zoya's lips formed a smile nd she nods her head in yes. "Yes."
Her father confirmed her the venue and time and hanged up the call.
There were very less moments which she got to spend with her family. She could definitely not loose her chance to meet her family. Zoya got up to dress up , it was time for her to be in Office..

It was about for lunch break when zoya entered asad's cabin. He still looked distraught but was managing his work efficiently.
She asked his permission to go out for a while stating the reason. Knowing zoya very well. Asad allowed her to go.
Zoya reached at the venue. "Ya allah this place is so expensive." She murmurs.
"What made my abu for having lunch here. It looks a costly place " she got worried.
In a mean while she hears the voice of a huge ford car. Zoya eyed inside and found her abu sitting with two man.
She waited in surprise letting the door to get open.the first man stepped out was definitely her abu and the second face she was sure she had never met.he was a man between 20s. The third man stepped out was the one who drained all color from her face.
"Rashid ahmed Khan." Her eyes widens in horror.
