CHAPTER 4
Please accept my thank you. I always love reading feedbacks. I understand many of you are confused with zoya. For now i can say there are many incident that is still to be revealed. I hope my hints are reaching you out through this update.

He walks to balcony hearing the silent cries of dark. This night, these silence have always been his closest Friend. Asad let his hand brush his hair as he stops and stare into nothing but dark.
He is lost into something so deep that the knock at the door surprises him.
"Comein." He simply says.
The knob turns down and rashid steps in.
Asad's face twitches in unpleasant emotion.
"Asad." He calls freezing at one block.
Asad hums without bothering to turn . rashid feels hurt but what was he holding back was important to speak to asad.
"Asad beta. Look at me." His father urges him with a surprising soft tone.
Asad lock his brow but he straightens it quickly as it forms.
He turns to look at his father.
"Asad. You know i wont ever think anything bad for you." Rashid stood there in dilemma on how to start the topic. Should he be direct or indirectly hint him. He chose the longest route.
Asad hooks up his brow in sarcasm. And rashid immediately clears his throat.
"These ." he pulls out an envelop and outstretched it to asad. "Your khala from USA have sent you." Asad in pure confusion takes the envelop without bothering to say thankyou, he opens it.
His brow forms a perfect knot on finding the envelop full of girls pitcher.
"What is-" he is about to ask but soon he gauged the hint behind the envelop and photographs.
"Oh." He simply said with a smirk.
"Asad. These are for your marriage. Uhm! If you like any of them you let me know. I ...i will talk to their parents. Their details are written behind each photo's. And if you have any other name in mind . tell me." He stops gulping about a fear. Silently praying to Allah he continues "just tell me. I will make you both marry." He has a fatherly smile on face as he takes a step on asads way.
Asad shows his hand in air stating him to stop coming near.
He takes the envelop and tosses it on floor. All the photos gets scatters on floor.
"Mr rashid khan. What a dialogue man!" He shows a fake surprise and claps his hands appreciating.Nothing!
"I must say your delivery to speak has been improved since last time." He gives a fake smile taking a step towards his father.
"But let me tell you. Its still dont have weight to convince me." He sadly pretends.
"Asad-."
"Ah!" He interrupts his father in between.
"I told you already my answer to your stupid fatherly proposal. Its a N..O...No!" He spells no for him and laughs hysterically.
Rashids head hangs to his chest and he pushes the tear that forms in the back of his eyes.
"Beta please." Rashid tries to speak but his voice just came above whisper. "I want to see you settle in life that's it. I am your father i-"
"Genetically yes.and i regret as why the technology in science haven't reached so far to help me to eradicate your DNA from my system." His eyes turns red and he gets a serious voice.
"Asad dont say that." Rashid pleads and asad laughs again.this time with a drop of tear.
"Then say what?" He asks.
"Asad if dilshad would have been alive she too had wanted to see you married. Its time now asad. Understand. You need a woman to help you to get away from the pain. She can soothe you." His father spoke to his son.taking the direct bus to heart.
Asad spins his head and chuckles. "Oh really." He smiles with a distinct sour memory.
"I know what i need father." He says father in teasing way. " and i am sure as hell i dont want to hear anything about my 'Need' from you." He raises his two finger in air stating sarcasm.
"I know what ammi wished and i can take care of her wishes. But what's wrong with you abu? " he raises hid brow in a smile "you are pretending. Even when we are alone. Thats sick" he laughed.

"Shhh." Asad stops his father by keeping a finger on his lips. "Its late you know. I have many files to work on. You see i have to strive hard to give my so called family all luxury. Now if you excuse me. Please shooo.away." he lazily took a file and starts to read.
Rashid stood there for a while before he sighs and walks out of his room. Asad looks up to the door and shuts the file close. He then sinks on the couch nearby his bed.

Dilshad looks at his only son and smiles. "Its a good news. Allah give you more success and prosperity in life." She places her boths hands across his face and pecks him on his forehead.
Asad takes a turn and hugs his mother. "Now you no longer need to stitch clothes for other. I shall pick up a part time job very soon and will earn." He says with a smile.
"Asad no. You will finish your study and then you may work." Dilshad urged his son.
"No ammi. I want to take responsibility of us." He argued and dilshad chuckles. Before she could speak further asad hears the door bell.
"I will check." He says making a way towards the door.
"Who is dilshad khan here?" The postman asked asad. Asad turns to look behind him for an answer.
The postman nods and get an envelop out handing over to him.
"Please sign" he requested and asad signs it receiving the letter.
"Ammi he got this." He says while attempting to open it.
Dilshad too squeezes her brow in anticipation of the material inside.
"Its look like something." When the letter is completely before his eyes. He reads it. "Come fast soon. Rashid is not well."
Dilshad hears it and her eyes turns moist where asad goes running to help her.
"We must go asad. Your abu needs us." ...

Asad opens his eyes and finds himself sitting on the arm chair. He panted high gasping for air.
He got up from his place and walked to the night stand , filling up the glass with water from the jar. He drinks it. Its calms his nerves down and he keeps back the glass on table.
With a frown on face he picks up the key from the side draw and spintz it to the door.
Gaffur and razia waits in the hall for rashid. As soon as they spots him, they pounced their claw.
"What did he say?" Rashid looked upset with razia's question.
"Nothing." He said with a defeated sigh.
"Did he like any photos" gaffur asked with hope.
Rashid kept silence. Gaffur looked at razia and got the answer .
"I know. I know very well. Why asad is not ready to get married? He is under the voodoo of that wh**e." She then turns her attention to gaffur. "O. Ji, until and unless that witch not release him from magic our asad wont ever become ours.
The conversation between gaffur and razia and razia to herself left such a great impact on rashid that his already existing hatred towards zoya developed more and he put all blame on her.
"I think you are right. My son deserves so much better. I will help my son. She will be out of his life." He says with determination.
Its already evening and zoya already know asad would be here anytime. She gets change into one of his favourite attire that he had gifted her. She sprays some room freshener , does a touch up of makeup and strolls around the balcony all the while waiting for asad to come.
Its strange that asad is late today. If that is not what she dreads happened she is sure where to find him.
Glancing at the watch for few more minutes zoya decides to check up on his with a phone call.
So, she walks to the nearest table picking up her landline she dials his number. As the ring is just about to bell she disconnect it.
A rainbow of hurt rises on her face. He has not given her the right to even call him. She sadly sits on floor cursing her life. How she wished she didn't chose that place to work.
She remember how beautiful her life was when she decided to do job after her graduation. She was elder in the family and seeing her father condition she thought to be a son of the family and take responsibility. Little did she know, what terrible was waiting for her there in city. Neither of it would have happened if she simply didnt got trap amongst the dream and responsibility. She would have been pure innocent if that old fag havent fooled her and sold her in red light area. She would have been happy if she didn't say yes to asad who happened to be her first customer. She would have been free if she could say a no to his proposal. But neither of it happened and sadly nothing could be changed now. Its her destiny and she has to live with it.
Zoya heard the bell on door and with a jerk she gets up. She check on the mirror and finds stains of fresh tears. She quickly rubs her palm on her face and wipes off the stains.
She corrects her clothes and opens the door with a smile. S
Very soon, after she opens the door ajar her smile replaces itself with a frown and fear. Its rashid ahmed khan standing before her.
She blinks her eyes for the couple of time before she feels a push on her shoulder by a string presence. She looks up to see its face. Its razia gaffur siddique and gafur siddique standing before her. She feels a strong emotions of bad omen. Gathering up her courage she manages to ask.
"You all ." she looks at everyone in the room.
"Oh yes its we you witch. Your game is finish. Today we will scratch you out of our asad's life." She heard razia says. Zoya flinches at the words used for her. Its was not the fear of them in her roof. It was the fear of what will happens if asad comes to know about their act which was tingling in her.
Zoya looks at rashid who was furiously looking at something in her room. Its dilshad photo at the table that caught his attention. Rashid quickly made a walk towards the frame and picked it. "You have stained my wife's memory. How dare you to keep her here." He said in disgust.
Zoya opened her mouth to say something but she feared of coming something inappropriate which later she would regret
"O ji, why are we wasting time in talking to her. I am feeling suffocation in standing under same roof as her. Lets just kick her out of asad's life and go back to home. I need bathing to be pure." Razia spilled venom and tears hit zoya's eyes.
Its not even a minute, when trio started throwing all her stuff in the centre of the hall. Razia straightly went to her cupboard picking up all her clothes she got in the centre of hall. Gaffur managed to get other dox that were filled up on the shelf. Rashid took care of rest thing.
"Look at these clothes a d jewellery rashid. This girl is a money fcuker. She is like a snake who is building a huge hole in our asad's pocket. She is taking advantage of her." She kept on accusing till her heart content while she kept bringing her clothes to the hall.
When they were satisfied with their work. Gaffur got in and hunted for a suitcase. Luckily he found two. He got back to living room. And threw it on floor.
"Here, take this. Wrap all your stuff inside. You got two minutes to do. or else we would drag you out of this house without your belonging." Gaffur eyed zoya with a plague.
Zoya felt her heart race. She knew they wont be able to get her out like what had happened before the same thing is going to repeat. She was only worried for asad's reaction. What will he do?
Pulling her feet together zoya walked to the suitcase and got her belongings in it. As soon as she finished rashid pulled her by her hand and dragged her to the door.
With a ferocity he opens the door and his grip on her looses.
Its asad khan , standing before him in his lion avatar.
"Will you bother to explain?" Asad roam his eyes to the corners of the room and notices everything scattered.
He ignores rashid and the team and holding zoya by her wrist he pulls her back to the house.
"Get in. I will come in a while." He says ad his jaw tightens and his muscles rose. She knew better not to argue him in this condition
So she left without a say.
Asad then turns to face the trio.
"What are you three doing in my house?" Asad says in comparatively calm yet dangerous tone.
"Asad. Its my house too. I can come here when i want." Rashid just showed he has a tongue.
Asad clutched his hands tight and takes the support of a wall as he is vibrating with anger.
"It's not yours. Its my house. You have no right to come here and disturb her." He raises his voice in a challenge.
"Why are you so bothered for that wh**e? Asad she is spoiling your life." Gaffur steps in between and asad raises his brow as if asking'do i even know you?'
Gaffur steps back clearing his throat. Rashid eyes him and then turns to face asad.
"She should be thrown out of this house. She dont deserve your love." Rashid tried to get an upper hand but it just hit asad's nerve.
"And who are you to decide who deserves whom. Oh yes i forgot you are the same man who decided to get married and bring a second wife when his first was alive." Asad brought the old memory in between.
Rashid shuts his eyes, " its different here." He states just above whisper.
"How can it be? " asad challenges.
"Asad your mother-" he stops when asad smiles.
"She died because of you. And yet you prefer to call her my mother than your wife." He smiles with unease.
Rashid shuts his eyes getting all the sins he did on the poor soul . he left her on her own to marry someone else. How could he do that?
"Its not about her its about that dirt. She needs to get out of your life."
Asad stomps his feet on floor, "no. Its always about my mother and you. Dare not be disrespectful to her. Zoya has more respect than you if you havent realize."
Rashid grits his teeth together.
"I will throw her out." Rashid walks in challenge.
"Touch her and you will regret." Asad simply stared at him in anger.
"Zoya!!" He calls her out and zoya hastily stood before him.
"Touch her . i challenge you." He folds his hand across his chest and leans on wall.
Rashid glares at him and then eyes back to zoya. He gets near her determined to hurt her.
Asad's eyes follow him and the moment he touches her asad holds the back of rashid collar and pushes him aside. The act goes so violent that they both ended up catching each other collar to hit.
Zoya came running to them trying to convince asad to leave rashid while razia and gaffur came out of being an audience an tried to calm the situation.
"I regret for not killing you that day. I wish ammi didnt save you Mr. rashid khan" asad's eyes began watery due to immense anger in him.
Rashid gasp as reliving the moment where asad was standing before him with a gun soon after dilshad was insulted in that party. And instantly his mind played a glimpse of dilshad standing in between asad and rashid to save rashid from hitting the bullet.
Rashid eyes twitched with emotion and his hands on asad's collar looses.
Asad too felt the same reel playing over his mind. He left rashids collar and turned throwing his hand to the nearest wall. He hit it hard breaking his knuckle. Zoya let out a blood curling scream and ran to asad.
Rashid to turned with sadness and shock to see asad.
"She said asad." He reminded asad something.
"I wish she haven't asked me to do that." He cries silently still in anger.
And both the Khan's kept silence , running to the time when dilshad was on her Last minute and she took the promise from asad, "i forgave rashid. I want to see you both as father and son. Leaving a normal happy life. Forgive him asad, it will be his biggest punishment. Please forgive him and be with him. He needs us. He need you. Dont ever leave him alone. Promise me."

Rashid gasp as reliving the moment where asad was standing before him with a gun soon after dilshad was insulted in that party. And instantly his mind played a glimpse of dilshad standing in between asad and rashid to save rashid from hitting the bullet.
