I though same but while thinking about same point for longer time I came to a conclusion that Randhir was never financially Independent... nor was Sanyukta but difference between RD and Sanyu's character is...Sanyu doesn't want to be financially dependent on her parents as for her they're indifferent of her existence,choices and happiness...Randhir considered same about Renuka but still he was financially dependent on Renuka...If they showed him creating huge issue of Sanyukta paying his fees that would be contradictory to his character...as RD is a person who has emotional approach towards life and never prioritize financial independence...also being financially dependent doesn't make a person weak...as we are dependent on our parents till we earn for ourselves not merely girls but boys are also dependent...love one's are their to support each other every way...Financial Independence is not a criteria for Woman Empowerment...though Women Empowerment makes women financially independent..

I am definitely not branding you as a Sanyukta hater 😳...if you are saying that Sanyu was behaving like that weak gal who cannot fight her battles during that engagement breaking epi...i would say that was a very huge decision...leaving your family, rather walking away from your family forever is a major step...how many of us have that guts to do that actually? i guess very few...and for that if there is no support behind you sometimes we think twice and decide to back away...i am not saying that Sanyu should forever cry aloud self-dependence but whats the harm for always trying to be that? ...it does not mean she will always remain strong...she after all is a human...flawed...like Randhir, she too has her weaknesses... 😛

Yes yes! That's exactly what I meant.
Sanyukta is a work of fiction and the ones who have made her are to be blamed totally for this issue. I like the fact that she wishes to be independent but this current track is seriously not getting into my head.

As Paromita pointed out,she wants to do it by herself at first..I appreciate that totally. But sometimes working together can help.Asking Randhir to back out totally and arranging more than a lakh in a few days is. unrealistic. A little bit of help wouldn't do any harm.
or probably the CVs are creating the ground for a future ego clash..:/
