TOI: Being tall is troublesome for these TV actresses

Aishwarya Sakhuja Aishwarya says she faces a lot of trouble because of her height. "Most of my co-actors are of my height or shorter. As a result, my romantic scenes turn out to be hilarious. For example, if a scene requires me to rest my head on my co-star's chest or shoulder, I have to bend my knees. Or else, my co-actor is asked to stand on a stool. Wearing heels is a luxury for me," she says.
In her last show Saas Bina Sasural, the unit even introduced a concept in the storyline, banning all actors from wearing footwear inside the house (read set). "All of us had to keep getting pedicures. Because of me, everyone had to walk barefoot on dirty floors," the actress recalls. That's not it. Her fiance' Rohit Nag has nicknamed her Lambootri. "He has categorically asked me not to wear heels on our wedding day, saying he won't show up," she says.
