Maharana Pratap Written Update - Episode 132 - 2nd January 2014
When Bairam Khan and his army along with Nathya reach the jungle area of Bhills, they are surrounded by the armed Bhills. Nathya mentions that Bairam Khan can't proceed with his army from that place though he can take one man from his army.
The army of Bundi proceeds towards the battle field.
Three queens of Mewar along with Kunwar Vikram, Kunwar Jagmal, Girja tai and Kokoyaji are leaving Mewar palace for some protected place. Kokoyaji wants to help Dheerbai taking Jagmal but Dheerbai refuses and taunts Jaiwantabai saying that the time is not good as everyone can do anything specially who is in power, can harm Jagmal.
Pratap & Raghavendra reach the Bhills area and they are also surrounded by the armed Bhills. The Bhills ties their eyes with black clothes and brings Bairam Khan along with his one soldier, Pratap and Raghavendra to their chief, Rana Kheta. Rana Kheta welcomes Bairam Khan & Pratap and they look at each other remembering their last few meetings & events, become excited in anger and take out their swords. Nathya and Raghavendra stop them. Rana Kheta mentions that when any outsider comes in Bhills area he should not carry any weapon and must rely on them forgetting his personal friendship & enmity because whoever comes in their area, it does not make any difference to them. The Bhills at first treats them hospitable manner. Pratap wants to sit with the Bhills on the ground. The Bhills serves the food to them. Bairam Khan refuses to take the food. Rana Kheta requests Pratap to take the bread made by the grass of their jungle. Pratap hesitates to eat while Raghavendra mentions that Pratap used to eat in the Gurukul and he loves to eat it. Pratap starts eating. Bairam Khan promises that if Rana Kheta helps the Mughal against Mewar then in return he gives lots of gold to them that they never eat the grass-made bread and they never be worried for daily needs. Pratap mentions that Rana Kheta should not help Bairam Khan as it's against his principle and being a patriot he has to save his motherland. Pratap continues that the Mughal at first wants to be friend but when they are settled here, they start encouraging us to live like them, would insult our culture and would attack our life style. Pratap adds that especially person like Bairam Khan can't be considered as a warrior rather he is a murderer. Bairam Khan becomes furious to hear all these & takes out his sword. Pratap does the same. Rana Kheta warns both of them saying if they would proceed then they cut their legs. Rana Kheta adds that in Bhills area they can't do anything and everything happens there according to him only. Rana Kheta asks Pratap except lecture what is his offer for them. He adds that Pratap's ancestors never treats them as friend rather considers as outsider, also neglects them and they always enter in the Bhills area in spite of warning. He adds that Pratap is not useful for them. Pratap looks at Raghavendra who gives him a sword. Pratap asks Rana Kheta whether he can recognize the sword. Rana Kheta replies that the sword is of Bappa Rawal. Pratap adds that Rana Kheta's ancestor assists Bappa Rawal, Pratap ancestor in the war against the Arabian. Pratap requests to Rana Kheta giving honour to Bappa Rawal not to help the Mughal. Rana Kheta shows respect to the sword saying that he heard lots of valiant stories of Bappa Rawal. Pratap becomes happy while Bairam Khan becomes tensed. Bairam Khan surprisingly asks that how Bhills can accept a rusted old sword not taking gold. Pratap wants to reply but Raghavendra stops him. Rana Kheta mentions that how Bairam Khan has insulted that respected sword, it proves that the Mughal are heartless and rude. Pratap joyfully thanks Rana Kheta saying that he knows Rana Kheta would help them only. Rana Kheta denies saying that they can't assist Mewar. He adds that he respects that sword a lot but he can't deny the present circumstances. Bairam Khan joyfully asks that whether Rana Kheta assists the Mughal army. Rana Kheta denies again saying they can't insult that respected sword assisting the Mughal but the Mughal can pass through their jungle, the bhills does not stop them. He adds that Pratap should not expect more from the Bhills and if Mewar loves its independence then they have to find their own way to win. He returns the sword to Pratap.
Rao Surtan gives instructions to his soldiers that their first & foremost duty to protect their king in any condition.
Rawatji mentions that the Mughal army may be present along with army of Bundi. Uday Singh confirms that their army is ready to kill them also.
Both the army confronts at the battle field. When the battle is about to start, Uday Singh stops them. Rao Surtan surprisingly asks to the Mughal soldier about this decision of Uday Singh. Then he asks to Uday Singh the reason of his decision. Rawatji also becomes surprised. Uday Singh expresses his wish to talk with Rao Surtan before the battle. Rao Surtan hesitates. Uday Singh mentions that it's not good for Rajputana that Mewar and Bundi fights with each other on the influence of the Mughal. That's why Uday Singh wants to solve it by diplomatic way. Rawatji mentions that Rao Surtan is not eligible to understand, he is the treason. Rawatji adds that Uday Singh tries to unite the Rajputana, while Rao Surtan depends to the Mughal army & its commanding chief, Yousuf Khan. Rawatji continues that Rao Surtan only be treated with sword otherwise the whole Rajputana would be under the Mughal command. Uday Singh admits that Rawatji is right still he wants to try it for the last time to be clear at his conscience and also that history never blames that one Rajput would not try enough to avoid the war against another Rajput.
Here, Raghavendra mentions that as Bhills does not stop them, the whole Mughal army will reach at the entrance of Chhittore within few days and after that they can't do anything because their strength is much more than the strength of Mewar army. Pratap reminds the words once said by Raghavendra that the strength of an army depend not their number rather in their commander-in-chief; if the commander is competent, the army is also competent. Raghanvendra admits that he does not change his opinion. He adds that he considers the Mughal army as powerful because its commander-in-chief is Bairam Khan, who is the best warrior of the present time. Pratap asks whether Bairam Khan would kill before reaching the battle field. Raghavendra mentions that it's certainly suicidal plan to kill Bairam Khan within the Mughal camp. Pratap says that there is at least a chance to kill him and in that way they can ensure the victory of Mewar. He adds that there is no such alternate way for them.
NB : There are few words/sentences which are not clear to me. 😆 Please check if I wrote anything wrong please tell me, I will certainly edit that.
