Ok, 8C is here! Before I get into the specifics of what I liked, etc, can I say, thank you for shifting to the present day from the past! Some writers stretch certain emotional scenarios beyond tolerance & you shifted gears the moment the past seemed to saturate with ugliness! So, good job with that!

Now, coming to the chapter itself, its the strangest thing but I see sense in most of Khushi's reactions, by which, I do NOT mean to say, her reactions are right, because they are not, they are not fair to Arnav or even Lavanya, but sometimes, that's the only way people know to deal with hurt-by lashing out at the person who caused it, although they didn't deserve it! She was only being human, & she didn't mean tu hurt, I guess, it was just a release to her rage, frustration & heartbreak! What I mean to say is, I get your Khushi Gupta! I empathise with her! Coming to Arnav, I know I was irrationally mad at him, still don't really sympathise with him(I seem to have a strange loyalty to your Khushi), but that aside, my rational side is aware that Arnav didn't deserve any of the venom dished out by Khushi, he was hurt too, but, let's just say, I understand his position but all sympathy will have to wait till Gupta becomes happy, like, truly happy, moving past all the hurt caused by their history! Yeah, I start rooting for characters when I read something, any piece of fiction! Its kind of a weird habit! So, I am rooting for Khushi Gupta!

By the way, I read your reply to my previous comment, I realised I had missed out on an aspect of the story which you pointed out that Khushi was aware of Arnav's interest in Lavanya, so, their relationship was not supposed to be a shocker for her, but she was perhaps in denial, believing only what she wanted to believe! She did contribute to the complexity of their situation!

Nice job with 8C, looking forward to knowing how the story proceeds, now that it is back to the present!

I don't know anything any more.

Read some comments.

I do feel now both are in the wrong.

Arnav should have rushed after Khushi instead of staying back with Lavanya and kissing her.

His best friend of ten years was in pain because of him and he stayed back romancing his girlfriend.

How stupid can somebody be?

And then Khushi was hurt and embarassed.

But she didn't have to talk bad about Lavanya.

She might be jealous of her, but that didn't mean she should be so mean and vindictive.

A beautiful friendship broke because of their silly behaviour.

Woww..now that was a brilliant update !!

Khushi must have been devastated when she had seen Arnav and La Kiss..and Arnav as usual had realized things late...too late in fact and when he went to Khushi to sort things out , she burst her frustration on him..

Its really sad to see strong friendship breaking into pieces...!!

And finally the track is back to present , where Arnav still regrets losing such a friend and i am sure Khushi too regrets it somewhere.

It of course mustn't have been easy for Khushi to let go of a friendship of 10 years..but she was just too hurt to think of anything.

Well , i would love to know , what Khushi presently thinks of the whole scenario ,

The update was really intense and fantastic !

Can't wait to know what happens next !

What a sad waste to a 10 year long friendship. Arnav should have not abandoned Khushi as a friend - he should have had respect for her. But then so many do that: once we have someone new come into our lives friends can fall by the wayside.

Except Khushi had strong feelings for Arnav and she did what she had to in order to protect herself...

How will they get their friendship back now? How will they move forward??

Arnav pondering about so many What ifs???? Reasons that a beautiful friendship was lost and it became a mockery. Who/What was right or wrong?? Not possible to find out in relationships/friendships. It is only about understanding each other, in which both failed.
