BB19's Malti Chahar reveals NEVER being in a relationship with Amaal Mallik: 'Disrespectful of him to..'

Bigg Boss 19 contestant Malti Chahar and music composer Amaal Mallik found themselves at the centre of intense speculation during the latest season of the reality show. Casual conversations and conflicting statements inside the house led viewers to question the nature of their association, with many assuming that there may have been a personal relationship between the two before the show began. These assumptions gained traction online, especially after references made by Amaal during his time on the show.

Malti has now directly addressed the rumours and denied any romantic involvement with Amaal Mallik. Taking to her X handle, the Bigg Boss 19 participant issued a detailed clarification, stating that the speculation surrounding a relationship was completely unfounded. She made it clear that their interaction was limited and that the narrative presented during the show did not reflect reality.

In her post, Malti wrote: 'Let’s clear this once and for all.
Amaal and I had no relationship or any kind of ‘ship.’ He asked for my number, and we met only once. We talked and shared some personal information. After that, we were in touch over the phone. That’s it! there was nothing else between us.' She further explained that a moment from the show had been misunderstood, adding, “On the show, when I said ‘bahar ki baat nahi karenge,’ I meant that I would not share his personal information.'

Malti also expressed her disappointment over the way she was spoken about on the show. 'It was disrespectful of Amaal to create a narrative on the show suggesting that I was trying to impress him and to make derogatory remarks about me, something I saw only after coming out of the BB house,' she wrote. According to Malti, she was unaware of these comments while she was still inside the house.

Addressing another aspect discussed on the show, she acknowledged Amaal’s repeated mentions of his mental health. 'Yes, he mentioned his mental health a few times, both before and during the show. I was empathetic and tried to help in the moment so he wouldn’t have more regrets later. Now, I’m the one regretting it,' she stated.

Malti concluded her clarification firmly, writing, 'That’s all. Spare me now. Please don’t associate my name with his. Thanks.'

With this statement, Malti Chahar has attempted to put an end to the speculation that emerged from Bigg Boss 19 and distance herself from narratives she says were created without her consent.
