Okay now, although it was brief, it was intense. I am greedy for a longer update. :D

So coming back, somewhere I do feel that Arnav neglected Khushi. All things said and done, you can't ignore your best friend of 10 years after you get to know that something has happened which can totally alter the dynamics of their relationship. Him falling for Lavanya and wanting to spend time with her over Khushi was justified until he was unaware of Khushi's feelings for him. But after he got to know about them, especially since Varun told him all about it, I think he should have rushed to her side. That's what best friends are for. Khushi was at an extremely vulnerable place at that moment, and if not the realisation that your feelings are reciprocated, the fact that you still haven't lost that person and the he is still there makes a huge difference. This is exactly where Arnav screwed up!

The way their relationship turned out to be post that was kind of expected. Offense is the best form of defense, after all!

What I am curious about is how come Arnav is reminded of all that now? In other words, what triggered his possessive side to come to the fore when he mistook Akash's friendliness for something else?

All in all, I loved the update. :)

Pehle to thanks to Charu aka 1chilly to have made me come across this story. Fir hugs to you for writing this fiery! Aag laga di tumne 🤗 :D but seriously, the basic concept must have taken up many here to write upon. But I honestly feel that no one must have presented it as uniquely as you did. Plus not only the narrations about the characters, their feelings and actions seem real and just , you have also written it so well that it is absolutely a delight.
One can not only relate to Khushi but to Arnav too or Lavanya or Varun for that matter. Even if one hasnt been them in some point of one s life. There hasnt been teachings in these 8chapters that I read until now that this way was right or wrong. Thats how people are. Its all circumstantial that makes us feel and act.

The story is absolutely endearing. I loved that you havent gone the way that Arnav out of the blue realizes he had this latent undiscovered love for Khushi once their bond was severed. Great one at that. M loving the point where the story is right now. Jealousy and all. Its evident that he now feels something for her. They have spent a long time witnessing a lot of shades of the other one. Still a lot of builing back is left. Maybe thats what he meant in those last lines.

Arnav obviously realises khushi's worth being d best friend dat he is... Also d way Khushi reacted was a lil immature but den losing d person whoz very close to u might do dat to u. And den Arnav saying anything might hav worsened d situation.
Let bygones be bygones... Arnav regrets watevr happened in d past as he lost his bestfriend and also hez not happy when khushi spends her tym wid akash... So definitely hez attracted but he hasn't given a thought to dat by now.
