Manav!!! one of his best episodes! The acting was so convincing, maybe because HT himself is father of a baby girl! So well acted and such good dialogues! I loved him standing up for Ovi today, something all her family members otherwise have failed to do so...Even if late, Manav did step it up for his daughter. I have always loved HT angry, since his Kutumb days. I think that is his forte, being a strong angry guy instead of the JKG that they have made him be for most of the episodes...all these K women, make their men such losers around them..right now the Lady of Perpetual nonsense is in coma, hence this dad has stepped up from being the lover husband...So glad!
I loved his bashing to both Arjun and Purvi. Why she was in the D household is beyond me, but I don't care, as I am glad she heard all his ranting in front of EVERYONE. I was so glad he pointed fingers where they needed to be..I am so so so so happy he called her "dusri aurat" in front of all...because that is what she was in the whole pre-marriage fiasco when she decided to date Arjun despite him being engaged to someone else, and that is what she is now, in their marriage...always will be dusri aurat, while arjun will always be dusra aadmi in her marriage with onir. His pointing out the reality of pari for ovi and what it means, was so well done. Nobody has given the thought that such a huge sensitive situation needs and what it means to be that wife in Ovi's place. Everyone sidesteps it because why? The great Purvi can do no wrong and Ovi has all galat phemi..
Manav has the decency to take Arjun in the room and ask him this question, but Arjun on the other hand has no decency defending purvi's vile actions of discarding his dead baby for the pavitra nishaani in front of his in laws. Are you kidding me? Kis mitti ka bana hai ye ullu? The gall of him to defend her for ANYTHING. Shut up please and get lost from Ovi's life is what Savita should have told him after listening to him be besharam for his saali. Sadly, purvi in this case is puri gharwali fo both Arjun and Onir and it is poor Ovi who is addhi for her husband, without any adhikaars that too. Arjun, arjun, arjun, the little sympathy I had yesterday, has drowned again, because as flawed as he may be, he can never be a man..he will always remain this 🤬 of Purvi's and I hope Ovi walks all over him, not just out of his house. He deserves it.
Savita, oh lord help me. Why has she been tamed so? I don't understand her insistence on this pathetic marriage working..although she did support vandu too as you guys mentioned...I think core problem is, Ovi has never made her problems public to the extent that people understand her. She does not use her tears as ways to garner sympathy. she fights her own battles without needing to have someone else take up for her all the time..This is why everybody downplays her plight so much. Everything thinks it is galat phemi because Purvi plays her cards so well. Her tears are always for seeking attention, she always keeps quiet letting others defend her or take the blame completely for her pathetic behavior. She always gains sympathy by making her mahaanta a public issue and then flip flopping on her own decisions. Her fake concern for Ovi always wins the hearts of D's, because she does it so well and makes sure everyone notices. Ovi on the other hand is plain as white and lays her suspicions, her like or dislike very openly which is why it is hard for anyone to tell her pain. She doesn't cry to gain attention ro sympathy, she instead points fingers at people who are responsible for that. This is the main reason purvi's agony is agony but ovi's is galat phemi. doesn't help that the loser husband also defends saali and perpetrator of crime and not his own wife. Savita should have given a good earful to purvi for having caused a mess and she should have mourned her grand child. Alas, disappointing.
Sulo the pope is amazing...how can one not find her so. Defending her naatin over the progeny...I guess genetics doesn't matter, but their gold medal sanskaars do? If Ovi would have had the pre-marital sex and swapping babies, this pope would have done shraddha of her...but since it is purvi's and her head has latkaoed in shame, she cannot really do anything, kyunki, sanskaar toh kisne diye the? Onir is so henpecked. When will this guy get up, smell the beans and see how rotten his life has become thanks to his crazy wife? yaar, license chala gaya, red light district mein reh raha hai inspite of having a shaandaar makaan in calcutta, and has no paisa for himself or the baby? Can they seriously not afford a ticket back to calcutta? Take your wife along and give yourself and everyoen else some peace for a while? I guess IQ is down these days, since the nutrients are not coming to body due to lack of money. Bhukto, bharo...after all if he is so happy taking wife's nonsense, might as well pay for her sins.
Purvi;s precap dialogue made me gag..I mean why can't she grow up and tell him this is not right...you may meet pari and Onir will bring her over to your house...( I don't expect her to hand over pari to him because she is archu;s parchaai, so all her swabhimaan at asking for financial aid, even though she has sucked the soul out of him and has no regret, toh paisa kya cheez hai). She should tell him that their marriages are way more important than their past and this is it. It is over and meeting up or seeing each other is not kosher and not ok because they have no rishta now. so he can see his daughter but no need to meet her. This lady is really gagworthy...I mean, the bechari look she gives while saying mujhe mana kiya gaya hai...why you are a 2 year old child and is this some restriction order on you? Shouldn;t you understand this delicate situaiton yourself? She acts so bichari that Arjun is going to flock arond her as much as he can...simpyl because kisi ne bichari purvi ko ground kiya hai usse milne se..are they teenagers whose parents have grounded them? what idiocy they show. And please purvi, rid yourself of that hair wig and stupid curls. Along with your character they make you look even more cumbersome to watch. Ghastly is the word.
P.S - while Savita was giving long lecture on humare ghar mein rishte bante hai, tootte nahim sunny was standing right behind. Wonder if he was taking in her words or looking at arjun and seeing what a lucky man to have one biwi and other saali. I guess sunny is gonna follow the multi jeeeju.
