Masti, that's true. How can I forget that? But ajit and damodar were worse in other ways--one so abusive and disrespectful with an abusive MIL and SIL to boot; the other a complete deadweight who constantly belittled his wife in front of family and outsiders. Frankly, I don't know which is worse. All three---savita, vandu and now ovi are too good for their husbands and pretty much solely responsible for their marriages working so far. But ovi is in a better position than them. She is educated and has tons of opportunities to do anything she wants, she has her dad to support her in everything and she has the money to live the way she wants and achieve her dreams without worrying about survival. And though she has gone through a transformative process and heartbreak in the one year of marriage, she's still young and can do many, many things with her life.

It doesn't matter what the others think. Ovi's out of their reach--atleast for now. And she is not one to be forced to do anything. It's actually good in a way. Now arjun and purvi will get their comeuppance. Arjun is already not being allowed to meet pari, and ovi's leaving will make things even worse for purvi with her family. Even if arjun and purvi want to get together, the family will not allow it easily because they think the marriage should not break. Let arjun and purvi now get some consequences of their actions. They should fight for what they want, if they want it. No, I think this is actually good.
