Chapter XII- Relive The Past

Khushi wondered How these Devils did it.

The House was filled with Red Roses in every inch.The red curtains looked very romantic swaying in the winds.Her house looked very different,so perfect.

There was a sparkling Saree in the color Red kept on the side table with matching accessories.

The small dining table was beautifully set with a vase and a long stemmed rose.

Arnav and Aarushi- The two charming devils were smirking at her.

Aarushi looked like a fairy in a light pink dress with matching strappies.

Arnav looked handsome and royal in a suit with his perfectly set hair and the caramel pool of eyes staring at her differently.

Khushi could feel herself drooling at this amazing vision.

"Momma.." Aarushi gave a toothy smile to Khushi and Khushi could not help but smile back.

Aarushi was too cute to resist.

"DADDY...She is smiling...Not angry anymore...Yipppee..." Aarushi squealed while clapping her hands.

"Baby..She is still angry.." Arnav whispered softly.

"Oh No...Daddy..This is so difficult." Aarushi sighed and then pulled Arnav to her mouth level to whisper something in his ears.

"AARUSHI...What are you whispering in his ears???" Khushi asked impatiently.

My Angel is in Team Arnav.

"Aarushi says...She wants a Baby Brother." Arnav said with a mischievous glint in his eyes and a very cute smirk.

Khushi could feel the heat rising on her face and her cheeks turning into crimson.

"Nah...Not interested." Khushi whispered with a growl.

"Wow...My Tigress sure has her claws intact." Arnav smirked.

"Why are you here with Aarushi?" Khushi questioned with the wriggle of her eyebrows.

"Me and Dad are here to ask You to marry Us." Aarushi squealed flashing her perfect teeth.

What?????

"Yes...Khushi will You please marry Me and My Daughter?" Arnav asked with a puppy dog look which He knew melted Khushi.

History repeats itself.

"No..." Khushi said sternly ignoring Arnav's face.

"Khushi Please..." Arnav whispered.

Arnav knew Khushi was angry with him but He so wanted everything to work out.

"Aarushi...Baby...Why don't you go and play outside while Me and Mummy plan for your little Baby Brother.?" Arnav said to Aarushi with a wink.

Khushi gave him a look enough to set the house on fire.

Aarushi winked back at her Father and said.."Good Luck..Daddy.." and went outside.

"Khushi...I am sorry but you know how insecure I was back then."

"No..I don't know you were insecure...You were too busy being arrogant to talk about your own life with me." Khushi cut in.

"Baby...Please...I know I was arrogant...but now I am ready to beg for You.." Arnav explained hopelessly.

"So You think that You will suspect a false affair of mine and then fight with me...Then divorce me and break my heart in a million pieces and then when you realised that I am innocent you will crawl back into my life and I will accept you with open arms...Sorry Mr.Raizada." Khushi said and folded her hands challengingly.

"You are right...But I know I was wrong and I should not have suspected you wrongly..Please forgive me.." Arnav pleaded.

"You thought I was cheating..Did You ask me my side of the story?..No...You came to your own conclusions...You heard rumors and believed them.." Khushi said and stepped back.

Arnav knew Khushi was not going to give in so easily.

"Khushi...Please listen to m-..." Arnav started but was interrupted by Khushi.

"NO..Mr.Raizada..You listen to me...I am very happy with my life...I don't need you ever...Me and Aarushi are a Family...We don't need you to complete Us.I removed You from My heart the day You left me." Khushi said with anger in her eyes.

"Ok...Khushi...If You really forgot me then Why are you still wearing the wedding ring I gave you and What is this red mark on your forehead?Aww...Is it sindoor..??" Arnav said in fake surprise while He gently moved the fringe of hair covering the 'sindoor'.

Khushi was stunned to the spot.

"And correct me If I am mistaken...But if I just moved your shawl out of the way I would be able to see the 'mangalsutar' I had placed...You still have not removed me from your life." Arnav said with a smirk.

Khushi looked as if someone had deflated her.

"Please go away...This is not working out...Please leave me alone." Khushi said after 2 minutes of cold silence.

'I have come here to beg for forgiveness and I am going to do just that.'...Arnav thought.

"I saw You with a man.This was the reason for our divorce." Arnav admitted.

"So...What is your point?" Khushi asked impatiently.

"He was proposing to you...!" Arnav whispered.

"He was proposing to you...!" Arnav whispered so silently that Khushi felt a shudder in her body.

Khushi knew instantly who Arnav was talking about.

"That was NK...Lavanya's then Boyfriend and now Husband." Khushi growled.

"The Guy with the floppy black hair who you were talking to yesterday was Mr.NK...???" Arnav asked in utter disbelief.

"Yes..He is my Best friend...He was rehearsing how to propose to Lavanya..!!" Khushi said banging her palm to her forehead.

"How do I know? Why did you not say anything?Why did you not prove your innocence?Why did you let me break this relationship.?" Arnav asked shaking Khushi by the shoulder.

"You hated women who justified their innocence through tears and I knew You were too arrogant to accept that You were wrong." Khushi said.

"I am so sorry Khushi.When I heard that you were having an affair behind my back...I swear I did not believe it.But then one day when I was came back from my London trip,I saw NK coming out of the house.I was so shocked but I still did not believe that you would do something like this to me." Arnav explained in a whisper.

Khushi remained silent.

"Then one day,When I returned from my meeting very late...I saw NK proposing to You...And then I believed the whole thing,Khushi..What do you expect me to do?" Arnav continued.

Khushi was in utter silence through out.

"I did not know the Guy was NK until now.I realised my mistake,Khushi,and I am waiting for you to forgive me and accept me back in your life." Arnav said and looked at Khushi with so much love in those caramel pools that Khushi wanted to hug him.

"That's what you are looking for ... Forgiveness??OK ...I forgive You." Khushi said easily.

Khushi could not hold any grudges against Arnav .

"No..Khushi..I want more,I want what I had broken carelessly..Your Heart...I want US again..." Arnav said.

Khushi nodded her head as if saying ..'No'.

Arnav's eyes reflected the hurt in his heart.

"No..There is no 'US'." Khushi shook her head quoting with her fingers.

Khushi's hair tumbled down and Arnav had an irresistible urge to run his hands in her hair.

"Why?" Arnav asked absent-mindedly staring at her.

"I don't want a marriage that holds so many secrets and lies..that held no promises or which is not secure." Khushi sighed.

"Khushi,I don't know what I have to do." Arnav whispered.

"This is not working out.You can come visit Aarushi whenever you want..I will allow that." Khushi promised in a quiet voice.

"I want more than just a visit,I want more than just my daughter.I want her Mother.." Arnav said with a longing in his voice.

"Please Arnav...You are not my type." Khushi said while her eyes said otherwise.

Aha..!

Finally..She had said 'Arnav'.

Sounds like music to ears.

One second...

I am not her type.!?!

"Are You kidding me?" Arnav asked with disbelief in his voice.

Suddenly it struck him...She was the romantic type and He was the pragmatic type.

----FlashBack Begins---

When He first saw her in college..He knew it was more than attraction.

Arnav did not want to scare Khushi away ,so he had hidden his emotions by fighting with her everyday.

Then out of nowhere, He asked her to go out with him.

Khushi had agreed.

It was love at first sight.

After their first date,Arnav felt a change in his relationship with Khushi.

She too had started loving him equally.

After exactly One year,Arnav had asked Khushi to marry him.

The proposal was a very realistic one-

"I want to marry you.I can offer you a good life...We like each other's company,,,So we should marry each other...Its an excellent deal."

Arnav was very arrogant then But it was a surprise that Khushi had accepted such a pragmatic proposal.

One month of blissful marriage and everything started tumbling down.

Arnav and Khushi fought and finally One day they broke apart with divorce.

It is time for things to be done in Khushi's "type"...

Arnav knelt down in front of Khushi and then looked at her.

Khushi gasped in shock.

"Khushi Kumari Gupta...You colored my life with your presence...and broke the hard walls surrounding my heart..when you left me I was deflated and lonely.I loved you yet I broke your heart.I know I am not a man of emotions but you melted me.Please marry me,become my wife again and carry my beautiful children...Please?"

Khushi stood stunned.

"I-...I.." Khushi hesitated.

At last Arnav had proposed to her in the most romantic way she had dreamed of and did she want more...??

Hell...No...This is what her heart desired.

"Khushi...Baby...Please say Yes..." Arnav pleaded with compassion in his caramel pools.
Khushi knew the answer.

"Yes..Yes...I will..I want to..." Khushi started but was pulled into an almighty hug by Arnav.

When they broke apart from the hug,they were looking at each other with fire in their eyes.

"I want you NOW..." Arnav growled in her ear and pulled her but they both jumped.

Aarushi was standing there.Confused.
