Should i forgive Naitik - Akshara?

Now that I'm aware that Naitik was encouraging Sneha's overtures, just to attract my attention, I wonder if I must forgive him easily. Dear readers, would you have forgiven your respective spouse or partner for committing such a gaffe.

Every relationship has to be transparent and my relationship with Naitik is based on trust and love, then how could he have gone ahead with this charade. Naitik could have easily communicated to me that he isn't happy with my divided attention and I would have made sure to rectify the error but he chose the wrong method. Dear readers, isn't it wrong to play with someone's emotions and feelings. Sneha would be deeply hurt and I feel sorry for her.

Naitik is trying desperately to seek my attention but this time I am not giving into his histrionics. I am mighty upset with what has transpired in the past few weeks. He is responsible for breaking two hearts - mine and sneha's, who has just started understanding the meaning of love. I am also worried about Sneha's mother who had been seeing Naitik as her son-in-law. Having said all this, I still feel sorry for him as he had no clue that his naivety will result into a confusing situation. He just wanted to get my attention but it has invited multiple problems and has infact created a rift between us. Having known Naitik for so long, I can perhaps understand that he had no hidden agenda, but Sneha and her mother who don't know him personally might be accusing him of cheating on them.

Dear readers, I hold Naitik responsible for the entire ruckus. Am I being harsh on him? Does he not need to understand and suffer the consequences of his actions. More than being apologetic towards me, he has to understand that he has wronged Sneha. My worry currently is Sharda ji's decision to come over and have a discussion on the entire issue. It is going to hurt the family a lot and they will vent out their displeasure and anger on Naitik ji. I don't want the situation to get ugly as its already gone out of control now. Should I speak with Sneha personally and explain the entire situation or should I let Naitik handle it in the way he thinks best? Dear readers, please suggest me what can be done to avoid any further trouble.
