Rahil Azim on Mr and Mrs Mishra

The new thriller TV show Mr and Mrs Mishra will see Rahil Azam make a comeback to television. The show will also star Samreen and for Viva girl Pratichee.

Rahil tells us about his new show: "Mr and Mrs Mishra revolves around different stories with a murder mystery also thrown in. It is a thriller with lots of action. I'm playing an investigative officer, Abhimanyu Mishra; he is very chilled out and will investigate the case cleverly and efficiently." He adds, "It's a team of six youngsters who have a good professional relationship. This show is of international standards and is unique."

The actor talks about his experience working with Anubhav Sinha: "The team has worked so hard in every department and Anubhav has presented this show like a Hollywood film. If he comes to me with a different offer, I would be the part of the show."

Rahil says his personal style of acting is to follow his instinct. "I don't believe in doing research. When you are doing a particular role, you must trust the creative heads of the show, who have designed the character. Inshallah, even this role will be remembered by my fans." For now, Rahil is only working on this show 25 days in a month.

Mr and Mrs Mishra will premiere on September 14 on Sahara One.

Mr. and Mrs. Mishra to debut on Sahara One

At last the wait for an investigative show Mr. and Mrs. Mishra on Sahara One has come to an end. The show that is based on A detective theme, and will be launched in the third week of September.

Our source from production team reveals, "Mr. and Mrs. Mishra will be aired on Sahara One from 14th of September. Monday at 8.00 pm."

The star cast of the show includes actors like Priyamvadda Sawant who will be playing the role of Rechal Pinto, Pratichee Mangpatra, Viva girl is also essaying the role of cop, Rahil Azam from Babul Ka Angan is playing the main lead…and many more.

As this show is based on the similar lines of C.I.D (Sony) now the query which remains is will Mr. and Mrs. Mishra be like the other detective shows? Will this show prove itself, and make its own image in the Indian television history? Or will it be soon off air?

The new show on Sahara One, Mr and Mrs Mishra, is about a team of dedicated cops who specialise in solving complicated crimes and cases with a mix of new-age technology and classic investigative wisdom.

Our source says, "The Unit 9 on the show comprises six officers from different disciplines within the police department. Rahil Azam plays Additional Police Commissioner Abhimanyu Mishra and Samreen Zaidi plays his wife DCP Geeta Mishra, who is a forensic expert. Every case throws up interesting twists and turns that keep the officers on their toes."

Actor Rahil Azam says, "The show has a team of six youngsters who have a good professional relationship. I want audiences to see the show because it is presented as per international standards, and I'm sure it will be full of suspense and thrills."

The first case they investigate is a murder that takes place on the sets of a reality show, which has people locked up in a house, cut off from the rest of the world, with cameras capturing every moment of their life (very much like the real-life Bigg Boss). The source adds, "When there is a murder, Abhimanyu and Geeta enter the Jungle House as guests; everyone, from the celebrities to the producer of the show and channel executives, is under the scanner."
