I am failing to digest the sudden transformation that some of the characters have undergone in this track. Biggest of all is Shradda. What's happened to the quick witted, quick thinking Shradda? The Shradda of old would not have needed someone over the phone to tell her what to say. She has one of the quickest brains on the show but CVs are making her seem as if she can't even string two words together unless with the help of sapola. And gosh isn't she just a shadow of her former self. For starters how did she get so scared of sapola? Shradda is fearless. She has never been daunted by anyone. Her policy is when threatened, eliminate. So why is she meekly obeying the dictates of her husband, especially because her doing so is detrimental to herself. We all know Shradda looks after number one before anyone else. What she is doing goes against this. How come she is not gathering evidence to counter blackmail sapola or even working on a plan to eliminate him?
Secondly, what's wrong with Bihaan? Bihaan is not educated but he is SMART. Although his family call him a moti budhi, this does not correlate with what he really is. He has always been so astute, it's not easy to get one over him. That's why he was the first to recognise Shradda for what she was. CVs made a big show of how he learnt to read the truth in his wife's eyes but what was the need for all that drama if at crunch time he fails to read her lies. He trusts, but not blindly. Look at how in the past he has trusted his Bhagwan, his Maa. His trust in his Maa has not closed his eyes to her true nature. So why, when he is trusting his wife or brother is he doing so blindly. Why is he not seeing their true nature. In his brother's case how can he give him so much trust. This is the guy who a few days previously categorically told him he would NEVER forgive him for the dhoka marriage. Is Bihaan such a retard that he can't question why a guy who professes to hate him so much has suddenly become his best friend. And OMG, he is so dumb. There have been so many unexplained things happening to him and around him but still he hasn't wondered what's suddenly causing them. For starters he knows he did not drink during his roka ceremony. Why has he not made efforts to find out who spiked his drink. After all the whole event was recorded wasn't it. Why hasn't he realised how much more frequently Sapola is apologising for so many wrong doings eg sorry Bihaan I broke your fingers, sorry Bihaan I pressed my hand hard on your broken fingers, sorry aunty your hands got burnt because of me, sorry Bihaan I didn't check the very heavy drum to see what was in it before throwing it out even though it was meant to be empty. For everything that's recently gone wrong for Bihaan, Dhruv's ugly face is there with an excuse or a reason. Even just asking himself why Dhruv is always present with a face that looks like it's been hit by a hammer, every time Bihaan is having an intimate moment with his wife should raise his hackles. But no. No such thing.
What's up with Thapki? One of her claims to fame was that she never lied. All of a sudden not one single truth is coming out of her mouth. She's become such a consummate liar that she doesn't even stammer when doing so unlike before. Her eyes are now inscrutable because even Bihaan can't read the truth in her eyes anymore. And I want to know where she buried her brains these days because they are certainly not on her head. She is smart. Certainly smarter than sapola. Otherwise how was she able to correct his Prime Minister's speech when he as the writer couldn't even recall it. How is it sapola is now running rings around her and getting her to do whatever he wants. This is the woman who outsmarted Vasu and exposed her truth. Is she suddenly gonna dumb her way into marriage with sapola?
Following on what's wrong with CVs? Can they ever execute a track correctly? Let me stop ranting against them because doing so is just a waste of time. Let me just ask myself :
"WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME. HOW CAN I WILLINGLY PUT MYSELF THROUGH THIS TORTURE ON A DAILY BASIS" Seems I am more stupid than all of the above rolled into one. If I were even remotely smart I wouldn't let myself get engrossed by this stupidness of a show.
