So, I am back with my Episode analysis worth the river Nile. The episode was a breath of fresh air, nothing overtly special yet worthy enough to be cherished. Thapki finally voices her care for Bihan's smile.
Let's look back for a moment; there was once the girl who called Bihan traitor, the one who destroyed her dreams, the one who refused to forgive him ever and so insensitively accused him of not loving his mother enough, who never appreciated his goodness or saw beyond the betrayal, but today that girl has completely disappeared, vanished. Instead we have a girl whose actions revolve around the happiness of the same person she accused, the same person she never cared for. Love works in strange ways, only a whiff of it has hit Thapki and look at her! The pain she endures for a single smile from him. Waiting for the day Thapki questions herself on her actions.
The episode began with the dance. Honestly I was not excited for a paper dance. Paper dances never made any memorable moments between the couple however this one was different. One by one the Jodis began exiting. I must say Vasundhara and Balwinder ji make an amazing Jodi, would like to see Balwinderji's reactions when the truth of his wife comes in front of him. The family still managed to get on my nerves with their smiling faces. How can they smile at Bihan and Thapki like that after everything? Shradha, my Maleficent, again fishing for compliments. My pity is by her side as she again proves herself to be the result of Dhruv's ego. Dhruv cannot see the Thapki who was once his with another man, no matter how wrong it is to hold resentment towards her, he just cannot help it. Thapki instantly gets teary eyed reading the accusal in his eyes and the pain she is being to him.
Bihan is still ignorant of these things happening around but what cannot escape his eyes is the sadness in hers. Thapki's mind reels with the possibility of Bihan being separated from his family and she slips, but no matter by reflex Bihan gets hold of her. After all it has become habitual, her falls and his saves, their eye locks. Her eyes meet his lingering on them for a moment. The paper is folded again and the distance between them decreases, just like the distance of their hearts which decreases with each fold of time. Bihan asks her to come closer to him, the dialogue underlines his heart's desire to be close to her. Thapki hesitantly steps on his feet and Bihan is too lost in her to experience any discomfort. The sharp contrast is instantly given with the other couple who were probably never meant to be.
Thapki slips again as the vile words of Vasu hits her and Bihan does something which instantly strikes a chord in her heart. A pat of love, Thapki pyar ki. For me the flash back was not a surprise but its link with Thahaan surprised me pleasantly. I have always believed a girl's true love will always have the traits of her father, because a father is the first man in a girl's life whom she loves dearly. Bihan reminded her of her father and that is a turning point in their relationship. The tears form in her eyes as she fondly remembers her father's words and Bihan's act, he moves her with his promise of never letting her lose. What more could a girl wish for? Bihan might not have realized the importance of his words to her but Thapki looks at Bihan as if she is seeing for the first time, seeing for a moment his heart of gold.
The paper is folded again and the distance decreases. Bihan seeks her permission with his eyes and forwards his hand. Thapki, a new woman in my eyes, hesitantly takes his arm and entrusts herself in him. He holds her in his arms and time stands still for them as they look into each other's eyes. The initial hesitance vanishes as they find themselves content. Bihan's mouth spreads into an unconscious smile as he admires his wife unbeknownst to himself. The strength of their love is tested but there aren't any tests that their bond cannot surpass. The glass piece symbolized the hurdles they will face together in their lives, but he does not let her go, he could not and he would not. They win the first round but more than that their prize is being one more step closer to each other. As the scores are announced, Bihan's smile also widens and reassures her that she will never lose on his watch. As Shradha sneeringly remarks who can find anything valuable in a stable, we the viewers smile. It's like that old saying; the most valuable things are not bought but felt. Even Thapki and Bihan does not know how much they know each other but they know each other enough to know what the other value the most. Understanding of the heart.
Now the scene which takes the cake for me today. Bihan runs to Dadi to take her blessings. His smile brighter than ever as he shares a hug with his sister and grandmother and one person admires his happiness, content that the pain she take is not in vain, admitting that his happiness is the only thing which holds her to the wretched house. Vasundhara's threat shakes her as she realizes she won't be seeing his smile if she hesitates in taking a decision. Though the precap hinted at another week of sbs what still holds me to tomorrow's episode is the final round of the competition and the reason for her decision to accept the teddy bear kiss. She spells out that she does it for Bihan but when will she question herself as to the lengths she could go for Bihan?
Sorry for a late night post guyzz..Its Monday na so got held up in some work
