Situation: Sahiba is in 2nd year of her BFA, and has to read 50 Shades of Grey as part of her arts curriculum. She’s put a cover on the book to avoid feeling scandalized. Angad and her have already consummated their relationship.

Title Inspired By:

Bheege hont tere pyasa dil mera

Lage abra sa ha mujhe tan tera

Jam ke barsa de, mujh par ghatayein

Tu hi meri pyaas, tu hi mera jaam

Kabhi mere saath koi raat guzaar

Tujhe subah tak main karoon pyaar haan

Ranveer Allahbadia’s Setup

Angad and Sahiba were sitting with Ranveer Allahbadia for a podcast session. This was part of a new marketing outreach to connect with people from different spheres, and to keep Brar Jewellers in the news. The Brar marketing team had reviewed the questions that were to be touched upon especially when it came to Angad and Sahiba’s wedding.

Ranveer addressed his audience, “ Welcome Guys. Today we have the scion of Brar Jewellers, Angad Singh Brar, yes the brand that signifies the epitome of luxury itself, and accompanying him is his lovely wife, Sahiba. Today, we’ll discuss with Angad the challenges he faced, what he did to overcome them, and a bit on how he balances his personal and professional life.”

Ranveer started off by asking Angad how he got into the family business, if an outsider was to start how would they go about, and what did he do to catapult Brar Jewellers into a luxury brand internationally.

Soon, the topic shifted to Angad’s work life balance.

Ranveer, “So being CEO, comes with a lot of responsibilities. How do you achieve work life balance?”

Angad laughed, “What work life balance?”.

This made both Ranveer and Sahiba laugh a bit to ease the environment.

Angad continued, “On a more serious note everything that I do I try to incorporate how to spend time with the people I love. Like, for example here I have Sahiba with me ,so that we can both spend time together and be part of this podcast. I try to find ways where I know, to get even a small amount of time with my family and friends, so that it doesn’t seem like things are being left out.”

Ranveer replied, “Well, that’s an amazing approach Angad. Now, we do have your beautiful wife here, tell us a bit about how you first met, your wedding and how life had changed post marriage?”

Angad looked at Sahiba and said, “You want to take this one? I’ve done a lot of talking already!”

Ranveer added smiling, “Yes, it's your turn now Sahiba!”

Sahiba smiled as she answered, “ Well, we first met in Hazuri Market in Ludhiana, and it was clash of the titans I can tell you that!”

Angad cut her off, “Galat!”. Sahiba looks at him questioningly.

Ranveer looks puzzled, “What do you mean? Mulaqat dhamakedar nahi thi?”

Angad grinned, “Vyah se pehle humari har ek mulaqat dhamaakedaar hi rahi hai! The first time I saw Sahiba was at dawn. She was in an auto rickshaw, with her face half covered. Our cars almost collided, as I swerved my car to avoid the granthis’ procession. When I looked after stopping, I saw her hazel colored eyes full of questions as she looked in my direction. Then the procession started to go through the space between our cars. Yeh mujhe gusse se unhi khoobsoorat aankhon se ghoor rahi thi, jinhein main besharmon ki tarah taar raha tha!”

Ranveer led a loud laugh, while Sahiba sported a small smile and said, “I forgot about that! What should I say? Ladkiyan dilfeink aashiqon ko bhaav jo nahi deti!

Both Ranveer and Angad chuckled at Sahiba’s comment, knowing how true it was.

Ranveer asked Sahiba, “So Sahiba tell me what’s your favorite food?”

Sahiba answered, “Very easy, chole bhature and golgappe.”

Ranveer decided to get a little mischievous, “And have you fed Angad by hand your favourite food?”

Angad answered quickly, “Isne mujhe mirchi hi khila di thi! Thankfully, sasuraal mein hua tha, toh daant bhi padi thi isse!”

“Haan sasuraal ke ladle jamai joh hain” Sahiba spoke teasingly.

Ranveer asked sensitively his next question, “Aap dono ki wedding kuch unforeseen circumstances mein huyi thi. How did you build the rapport that you have?”

Sahiba spoke calmly, “ See Ranveer, in any marriage, love or arranged, two individuals come together. They need to work on the marriage to make it work. They need to come with an open mind and take a leap of trust. This leap of trust I must admit is not easy, but if you’ve already taken your pheras, then that’s a leap of trust in front of society and God almighty. Once that’s established, the understanding will slowly build.”

Ranveer continued on the changes post wedding wanting to add some fun, “So, now who wins when there’s an argument?”

Angad laughed as he replied, “ You think I stand a chance?”

Sahiba giggled, nodding her head in a yes, and Ranveer added, “Did you ever win any argument, even a small win?”

Angad became mischievous and said, “ There’s only one way I can get her to be quiet” and winked smilingly. Both Ranveer and Angad laughed so hard that they almost fell out of their chairs.”

Sahiba looked at Angad questioning him through her eyes. Angad understood her ask, looked at her and without breaking eye contact, gazed at her lips intently. Sahiba finally understood, and turned around suppressing a shy smile. Her flushed cheeks made Angad more eager to grab her in his arms and kiss her senseless.

Ranveer just smiled seeing the silent interaction between the lovebirds, and posed a question to Sahiba, “Ok Sahiba, which side of the bed do you get out from?”

Sahiba took a moment to reflect and answered, “RIght side, simple”

Ranveer added, “Well right because the wife is always right!”

Both Sahiba and Ranveer chuckled. Angad had his devilish mind at work, interrupted, “ Well Ranveer, your question is only valid if I let her get out of our bed!” Saying that, he flashed his naughtiest smile, with Sahiba going scarlet as she registered what he meant. She covered her face with her hand in embarrassment as her natural feminine haiyaa kicked in, while Ranveer in disbelief just went, “Yo bro!”

Aaj Angad ek teer se do nishaane laga rahe hain, being the effective CEO that he is.” Said Sahiba trying to overcome her shyness at Angad’s bold overtures.

Ranveer looked at her, and she elaborated, “ Number One nishana is this podcast with you; and number two is badla for those arguments he’s lost. Aaj toh meri band bajne wali hai!”.

Both Angad and Ranveer had a hearty laugh hearing Sahiba’s simple reasoning. Ranveer continued with a few more questions. He did ask whether Sahiba added to the business. Angad replied, “Well, Sahiba’s interned under her father in jewelry designing. Though Sahiba is currently not contributing in an official capacity, I always seek her opinion when in doubt. You know the saying - ‘Two heads are better than one!’”

Ranveer then asked Sahiba, “What's one thing you really like about Angad?”

Sahiba replied without taking much time, “We live in a joint family, and Angad is the eldest of his generation. I really admire the way he takes everyone with him. Sabko saath lekar chalna. That speaks a lot about his character and the wonderful upbringing his parents have given him.” Sahiba played the diplomatic game on this one. She wanted to give credit to Manveer as to not fan her mother-in-law's insecurity over not having clout over Angad.

When Ranveer asked the same question to Angad, he replied, “Our banter is always entertaining. That’s why I love teasing her. Either she will get annoyed and become Maano billi giving me tit for tat or she’ll be an adh khila gulab due to her shyness!”

With a few more questions, Ranveer concluded the interview by thanking the Brars and wishing they have a long happy married life.

Angad’s Pool

The moonlight shone through the sunroof and illuminated the swimming pool area along without dim recessed lighting. Angad was taking a swim to relax after a stressful day at work. Sahiba, wearing her satin dressing gown, had gone to get a bowl of phirni and she sat down on one of the chairs near the pool. She had been reading her book very diligently and taking notes and she’s wondering if she should put some of her ideas into practice. Angad in the afternoon podcast had been very bold. She wondered if she should pull something unexpected. Usually, she’d shy away and let Angad lead. However, today, she felt confident enough to switch things up.

She takes off her dressing gown which reveals her silk slip that she’s wearing. Angad watches her as she removes her gown. He discreetly notices how the moonlight is able to show her full form, despite having a slip on. Seems as if she’s not wearing anything under her gown - Angad makes a mental note seeing her pert bosom.

“Which book is that? You’re so engrossed in it?” Angad asks.

“Ah, it’s just an art history book for my class.” Sahiba dismissed. She didn’t want to disclose she was reading ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’. She felt shy and didn’t know how Angad would react to it. She made a few notes in her book, and decided to eat her phirni.

Though Angad is in his pool, his gaze inadvertently always landed on Sahiba. Her smooth long legs, her toned arms, her surahidaar neck, lush pink lips, blushed cheeks, and aquiline nose with a simple hoop nose ring. Her eyes were what captivated him in the first place. Deep doe like hazel eyes full of questions and mirth at times. He silently chuckled to himself reminiscing how she was miffed when he kept looking at her in their first encounter. He also recalled how elegant she looked at the podcast. A lovely floral chiffon saree accessorized with pearls and her hair neatly in a low bun. She gave a modern maharani vibe.

Soon he swam towards her and observed how she slowly ate her phirni. That was the thing with Sahiba. Sometimes, she didn’t even realize she was innocently doing things in a seductive manner. He knew she got affected seeing his bare torso, and he had shamelessly teased her restraint quite a few times. Why not try once more today.

As he came out the pool, Sahiba kept an eye on from the periphery of her vision. She didn’t want to be caught staring at him, but she couldn’t do away without checking him out either.

Sahiba made up her mind. She was going to try.

As Angad approached her, he spoke, “How’s the phirni?”

Sahiba smiled sweetly and said, “It’s really nice. Try some!” This was the opportunity that she was looking for. She dropped a spoon full of phirni ‘accidentally’ on the right side of his chest.

“Oops, I’m so sorry!” Sahiba feigned her apology.

Koi nahin, towel se saaf kar leta hoon” Angad replied as he went to grab a towel.

“No, let me” Sahiba answered as she pulled his left arm to stop him. Angad could swear he saw a twinkle in her eyes, and then he gasped. He hadn’t thought that Sahiba would actually lick the phirni off his chest, her tongue sending ripples through his body and then she went lower and kissed his erogenous zone on his chest . Angad was unprepared, and his body reacted voluntarily to Sahiba’s shenanigans. After she was done, Sahiba had a sly grin, as she said, “I’ve cleaned it. Not one morsel of the phirni is left”.

Angad chuckled seeing his wife’s playful side, and said, “Give me some that phirni” and he tried to grab the bowl. In this process, Sahiba took another aim, spreading the phirni on Angad’s lower abdomen.

Before Angad could say anything, Sahiba bent herself a little and started to lick the phirni off of Angad’s abs. Angad now was having a hard time restraining himself and enjoying the new sensations he was feeling. Sahiba was continuing her machinations on her husband by kissing and caressing his abdomen and going dangerously lower.

Angad used all strength, and got Sahiba off. He definitely saw the mischievous glint in Sahiba’s eyes. Angad actually liked the fact that she was being bold with him. Her licking his abdomen sent shivers down his lower body.

He quickly dipped his right finger in the phirni, and touched Sahiba’s left shoulder, “Ah, there’s some phirni here too. One sec” Saying so, he started to lick and suck her shoulder. For Sahiba, it felt ticklish, the combination of his facial hair against her smooth skin. She enjoyed that Angad caught on to the game, and deduced he must have liked it too, for him to replicate her actions.

Slowly, using his teeth he pulled down the strap of her slip exposing her bosom to him. He dipped his head and started to kiss her left peak, exciting her further. She tried to suppress her body’s reflexes to Angad’s actions, but was unsuccessful. Her moans aroused Angad further.

Suddenly, he felt as if he was being watched. He got a little grumpy, and huskily said in his wife’s ear, “Dessert isn’t going to be enough for this six foot tall Jatt. I need a proper full course meal!” Saying so, he swung Sahiba on his shoulder, and carried her Tarzan style back to his bedroom.

Outside Angad’s Wing, in the curtains

Hansraj Phuphar gasped for breath! He had gone to talk to Angad about an increase in allowance but was rooted to his spot with the Rasleela err rather Phirni Leela he saw. Good thing I didn’t interrupt, else Angad would have definitely said no! - Hansraj thought to himself. Just as he was about to leave, he heard some noises, and camouflaged himself. He could not believe his eyes with the silhouette he saw leaving. So I was not the only one here- Hansraj thought.

Sandhu Bedroom

Hansraj bought a bowl of phirni on his way back. He told Prabhjyot all about the phirni raas of Sahiba and Angad. Prabhjyot was wide eyed, gasping for breath after hearing Hansraj.

Darling, puri ki puri English picture chal rahi thi!” Hansraj spoke.

“Hein, sacchi? Tum na sachh mein pure ke pure tharki ho. Hatt nahin sakte thei?” Prabhjyot asked.

“Arre, jab hattne gaya toh suno, wahan koi aur bhi tha!” Hansraj said.

“Kya, kaun?” Prabhjyot inquired

“Look, I couldn’t see the face clearly, because I had to hide as well. However, it was a thin woman.” Hansraj said

“Wahan Angad ke wing iss waqt kaun jaayega?” Prabhjyot thought out loud.

Hansraj decided to score some brownie points with Prabhjyot, “Dekho darling, thin toh tum bhi ho, par tum yahan thi. Manveer Prajai and Jassi Di toh thin hain nahin. Bebe toh buddhi hain. Kiara London mein, aur Ekam boarding school mein.”

“Haan, gal toh sahi hai ji tumhari” Prabhjyot further pondered.

Hansraj now threw his ace, “Toh Darling, bachte hain 2 ladkiyan. Ek Sahiba. Par woh toh phirni raas kar rahi thi Angad ke saath.”

Prabhjyot gasped as she connected the dots, “Seerat?” and then she continued, “Why was she there? Isn’t Garry home?”

Hansraj laughed as he replied, “Garry toh Ludhiana ka King of Romance hai. You think Seerat will be able to hold him down? Her little sister, that wrestler may be because she’d beat him to a pulp, but Seerat no. I think she’s regretting not marrying Angad.”

Prabhjyot, “Well she was the one who ran away from the wedding, no use crying over spilt milk.”

Hansraj saw an opening and tried his luck, “Well speaking of milk, I have this phirni made from whole milk. Wanna..”

Prabhjyot shut him right away, “Ek bacche ke baap ban gaye, aur chhicchori harkatein se baaz nahin aate. Main chali sone.” Then she turned around, and said, “Suno yeh Seerat wali baat abhi kisi se na kehna.”

Hansraj muttered under his breath lamenting over his fate, “Angad kare to phirni leela, aur main karoon toh character dheela”.

Hahahaha hilarious...I loved this naughty angad. The way he teased her during the podcast was fun.

OMG, the pool romance is here, the pool romance is here!!!

What a scene AV, sahiba taking inspiration from 50 shades was a masterstroke, angad ke to hosh hi udd Gaye.

Good sahiba is taking initiative. Loved the gradual build of confidence. The phirni played an important part and I won't look at phirni the same way again.

In India the whole intimacy is tabboo and women are generally programmed to think only men should take initiative and pleasure out of the act. To initiate things, woman needs confidence and trust in her husband that he would appreciate it. And that actually shows the supportive husband in 1 way. Good that sahiba has got that confidence

Hunsraj is so funny. Angad kare to phirni Leela and hum kaare to character dheela line cracked me up like anything

Loved it❤️

I read this and I cannot stop laughing. 🤣🤣🤣

I know this is an imagined scenario but still I am dropping this for someone who might take it seriously. Fifty shades is so not the book that any BFA course would be included. Not even in the popular or erotica genres of literature. There are way better and graphic texts though.😛

I should have said she was coaxed into reading this book by her colleague classmates. Her curiosity got the better of her! 😂

Hey! This is fun. Absolutely brilliant!!! You brought out so many nuanced emotions through OS! This easily topped the Zara zara touch me OS.

And Ashviniv rightly pointed out, this is hillarious. Hanraj and Prabhjyot are so fun to read in your OS.

Actually, most of the side characters in your OS are a treat to read.👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️
