Well said, Perfangel. I was shocked in Amanat's case too. I was hoping him to be the first runner up at least. I believe his nationality might have played a factor for him to get many votes, but definitely not his religion - Raja is a muslim too but he used to be on top many times and he also won ESBE as well. I wonder whether these people think that Armaan too got eliminated because of his religion?!!
I think Zee always look at the contestants who can bring in votes and raise the TRPs. If you do a study of SRGMP shows before and after, we can see that Zee is focusing more on TRPs than anything else. Only if the TRPs go up, they will get more viewers and more commercials and more money. It's a business, though in the entertainment industry.

Akanaji and Fatima I never said before the Mumbai incident. After the incident when I read the posts that said muslims should not be allowed to participate and someone says to throw Aamir out and there were lot of supporters also said that then only I said that.
I can imagine ppl are angry and in anger say things which does not mean. Until they come to the right senses I will hold my comment unchanged.

I think Rohan will win. I of course believe he should win because he is my FAVORITEEE!! More than that I think he will win. For JJWS Rahul won over abhi even though Rahul was the runner up and Abhijeet was the indian idol winner. And then for previous esbe Raja the runner up won. If luck is by his side, which i pray it is.. Rohan would win. I hope hope hope hope Rohan wins. Love the kid so much.

I understand what you are saying, Mike, and I truly feel bad that some people made comments like that. For me, religion or nationality doesnt matter when it comes to talents and making friends. There are trouble makers in all countries, and there are people who create problems in foreign countries to them too. The same thing exists for some extremely religious activists too, unfortunately. But I dont believe that all people from the same nations or religions as the trouble makers are the same kind. And there are many muslims who have died for our nation in all the wars and still willing to die for the nation.
It's so unfortunate and shameful of those people to have said things like that. If they said out of the spur of the moment anger, I hope they will regret and aplogize. I am sure Zee will not yield to such tantrums as they will always look into the benefit and profit of their organization...

I totally totally agree. Religion nor nationality have anything to do with talent. I hope the mumbai bombing is not a cause for aamir to lose out on votes. More importantly I get sad when regular people like us start blaming a whole group of people for such incidents! I think all indians should remember Aamir is a indian himself who is just like the rest of the kids. The votes should be based on how they perform!
