Chapter 4

Twinkle had arrived at the coffee shop by around 12.05.Though she was only 5 minutes late,she was worried since she couldn't afford to lose out on the woman.

Entering the coffee shop,twinkle looked around trying to locate a woman sitting alone. The cafe wasn't really crowded so it wouldn't be that difficult to find that woman. She sounded pretty young maybe like in her 20's,thought twinkle.

She should have at least asked her name but only twinkle knew how much she controlled her self when she heard Kunj's name and so she was glad that at least she was able to talk on the phone after zoning out.

After looking around a couple of times,her eyes fell on a young woman who waved instantly as she saw twinkle looking at her.

How does she know my face,wondered twinkle.

Twinkle walked up towards her and smiled at her.

The young woman gracefully stood up to wish twinkle. After exchanging pleasantries,they sat down across each other.
While the woman sipped her latte,twinkle ordered for a hot coffee.

Twinkle - "So um,you are?"

Stranger - "Oh I'm so sorry,I completely forgot to introduce myself,hi! I'm Pallavi,Dr.Pallavi Gupta"

Twinkle - "Hi,I'm twinkle Tane...Sarna"

Pallavi - "Oh I know! You know,it actually seems like I've known you forever even though this is the first time we've met"

Twinkle just smiled. She tried hard to remember if she knew any Pallavi Gupta or if Kunj had ever mentioned about her.

Nope,nothing.

Twinkle - "So what was it that you wanted to talk about"

Pallavi took a few seconds before she continued,
"Okay twinkle,what I'm going to tell you now is going to be really hard for you but you need to stay strong"

That did it. Twinkle knew she was falling weak. She didn't know why but she felt a certain fear build up in her chest.

Twinkle - "Please don't scare me,I'm strong enough to fight whatever is thrown at me.So spill it.

Pallavi - "Twinkle,aapke pati Kunj Sarna Zinda hai."

As soon as Pallavi said this,she saw twinkle's face turn pale. She had expected this somewhat.

For twinkle,it was like her world crashed down. She didn't know how to respond. She felt herself go numb. She didn't have the courage to open her mouth and let out some words.

Composing herself and her tears,twinkle continued,
Twinkle - "Is this some kind of a joke? Who the hell do you think you are? You really think I'm going to believe you"

Pallavi - "Listen to me twinkle,I know it's hard for you to digest but..."

Twinkle - "No you listen to me carefully,if you think you are just going to come into my life and try to turn it upside down then you are sadly mistaken."

Twinkle's face had turned red by then.This was the first time when twinkle was so angry. She had never seen this side of herself either but then again there was a random girl sitting right across her claiming that her husband is alive,what else did one expect?

Twinkle - "It must be really easy for you to come down here and play with my feelings. I don't know why your doing this but I'm giving you a last warning,stay away from me and my family or else I won't spare you"

With that twinkle got up and took out a few bills and kept it on the table. She didn't even wait for Pallavi's reply and started walking forward when..
Pallavi - "Woh aapko Siyaapa Queen bulate the na?"

This one line made twinkle stop dead in her tracks,she could feel the world spinning around her. She clutched the chair beside her to compose herself. How on earth did this girl know this?

Seeing her stop,Pallavi continued,
"Aur aap usse Saadu Sarna bulati thi?"

Turning around,twinkle looked straight up to her,her eyes blood shot red. She couldn't do this. She could feel the giddiness in her stomach. Clutching her stomach with one hand and her mouth with the other,twinkle ran towards the bathroom.

As soon as she closed the door behind her,twinkle fell on her knees and placed her hand on her mouth to stop herself from screaming. This shouldn't be Happening,she wasn't ready for this.Why was this happening to her?

After what felt like years,twinkle stood up and washed her face in the basin,took out a mascara and reapplied her makeup. It looked as if the breakdown that took place 2 minutes ago never really happened.

As she opened the door,she saw Pallavi sitting on the chair,waiting for her.

Taking a deep breath,she walked to the table and made herself comfortable on the other chair.

Sensing that twinkle was in no mood to speak,Pallavi continued
"Dekho twinkle,please mujhe galat mat samjho,mein tumhara bura nahi chahti Hun.balki mein toh yahan Sab kuch theekh karne aayi Hun. Aap chahe toh mujhe aapna well wisher samaj sakti hai"

When twinkle still didn't respond,Pallavi continued..
"Dekho please trust me,mein aapke pati ko jaanti hun Aur mujhe paata hai woh iss waqt kahan hai"

Finally she spoke up.

Twinkle - "K..un.j woh woh theekh toh hai na? Mera Kunj theekh theekh hai na?"

Pallavi - "Haan Haan aapka Kunj bilkul theekh hai"

Twinkle - "Kahan hai woh,mein usse milna chahati Hun"

Pallavi - "Ji zaroor.uske liye hi toh meine aapko yahan bulaya tha.mein chahti thi aap Aur aapki family Kal Apollo hospital aa sakte toh."

Now twinkle was confused. Why was Pallavi calling her to the hospital. She just said Kunj was fine then why in the hospital.

Twinkle - "Pallavi,hospital kyun?"

Pallavi "Actually agar mein aapko iss waqt batungi toh aap samjh nahi paogi. Iss liye please meri baat Mano Aur Kal hospital aajao."

Twinkle - "Theekh hai. Kal mein aapne pure family ke saath aa jaungi"

Pallavi - "Great! Toh Kal Milte hai theekh 11 baje. It was nice to meet you twinkle."
