Twinkle couldnt believe it... all semed like a nightmare just a few moments ago he was fighting with her for the bathroom...how could this happen...plz god no... dont do this to me she cried inside her heart...
Surjeet was taken aback... he too couldnt believe... he held firm supporting bebe...anand and usha crying...
Just then they saw a doctor enter the room and come out with some reports...
"Doctor saab yaha jo patient tha vo...lamba jawan hatta katta bacha hai.. gora sa"
Surjeet spoke between his tears ... describing his favourite son just in case the hospital made a mistake Kunj for some1 elae...
"Haa... Kunj.Sarna...usi k reports lene aya tha... accidant bhot severe tha... sar par chot thi...shayd... gaadi bhot tez thi isliye severe accidant hua..."
Twinkle could only make up to hear 'gaadi bhot tez thi' he was in a hury... he left in a hurry... he fought with her to leave hurry... all bcoz of her... she felt like killing herself...
The guilt engulfing her soul would take years to wash away... her husband...she cried ... how would he leave...
"Unki sar ki chot ka dressing kar diya hai...unhi k pas ye discharge k reports leke jaa raha tha mein..."
Did she hear it right 'discharge' that words felt like music to her ears...
"Discharge..."
"Haan.. unko sar mein hi chot lagi hai... jo treat kar di gayi hai.. aur hatho mein.. those bruises hai... jinki dressing bhi ho gyi hai.. vo discharge k forms sign kar rhe hai..usi k sath ye reporta attach karni hai... "
"Kaha hai mera bacha..."bebe spoke up...
They followed the doctor...
They saw him standing outside the cabin all rushed towards him...
She stood rooted to the spot .. she just wanted to take his form in her eyes...making sure that this was real...
He was leaning on the wall with one legs support... checking his wrist watch... and looking here and there... his blazer was hanging in his other hand ... his shirts shoulder was all blood red... be had a drssing done on his right hand... and.. one over his head...
As he looked at everybody... they all hugged him... one by one...
She walked slowly mastering up courage.. still not believing her eyes... maybe this is what they called as the second chance...
As she reached ... she looked... bebe walking to a nearby gods idol to pray... Anand and Usha headed to the reception to clear the bills... Surjeet joined the doctor to complete the formalities...
He hadnt seen her so much drenched out... not even when she met him that day at the gurudwara when he was hit by Yuvi... her this condition was different ... the sparkle in her eyes was gone... and.. her face was wet with tears... did she cry for him... so much... why??he thought
Yes he knew that she could wet his entire shirt with tears...but this was different... even after seeing him the tears were not stopping... but why would she care... she dint understand his need to be early to and office... he cursed his timings... the meeting was gone and the deal was gone... and... he only he knew how much this deal meant to him... only if he could know how much he meant to her... but he wouldnt have been late... if she dint interrupted...
Before he could escape talking with her... she crashed into him...
With full might... right in between a crowded hospital corridoor was his wife... crying hugging him... he thought she would pull back... after a while but.. she dint move.. with every passing minute her hold getting stronger... Bebe Usha and.. all left.. leaving them alone... Twinkle too had a car key ...she would bring him home...
Here he was angry on her... his insides were boiling but.. her soft body covering his.were making things difficult...
She could not remember how long did she was stuck to his body.. crying rivers... the feeling she just felt minutes ago ... of him leaving her alone... made her experience what it would be like without him... what this life would be like without him... it felt like a thousand lives pulled out at once... from her... but she noticed as she gained herself... that he was not hugging her back... as she came back to reality she looked around embarresed... by the look on his face it was clearly visible that he was upset angry and... what not... he dint hug her back ...that...made her feel sad...she would spend her entire life asking for forgivenes... she would be just content by him being with her... that was all she wanted...
